the break up is understandable? no, they find an understandable reason to force 'break up' trope. the 'break up'…
well, yes. that's true for any story, Chinese or not. the author writes their story based on how they want the plot to go. we can only evaluate it based on whether it feels organic and true to the characters, which it does for HACN.

On The Epoch of Miyu Apr 16, 2026
I just can't keep feeling sorry for Miyu because she keeps putting herself in this position. At this point, I have to just conclude she's truly okay with everyone walking all over her, even her staff. It makes her life harder, but she's okay with it as long as it avoids conflict.

Until it goes too far and she finally snaps. But as for now, I'm struggling to see her as a victim. This is just how she prefers to run her life.

Title The Epoch of Miyu Spoiler
I really wanted to like this drama but the FL being a doormat is already making my blood boil; it's her house…
hahaha yeah, ep1 was tough to get through cause everyone, including Miyu, is annoying. I mean, her husband literally says he doesn't like when her sister's family comes over, and then 5 minutes later she's wondering why he doesn't want to spend the night at their house. He might be a POS, but she's a sucky wife as well.

I think this last arc is still quite meaningful. An important part of achieving your dreams is realizing some of them don't fit the person you are anymore.

and whose timeline are they in... because he is in a timeline where he has already hidden his first stolen good…
I don't think he did. they were on the ground looking at the star stone (or whatever it's called). the 3 of them are the only ones who didn't get sacked in: weasel, Bai Ze and Wu Zhiqi

I'm on episode 7 and I'm a bit confused. Why did Chi Wen give out his power in the first place? I think it was already explained but something isn't clicking for me

hey! I didn't expect this show to have any romance at all when I first planned to watch it. But now it seems like…
romance is a small subplot. most of the screentime is focused on the court cases. the personal lives of the judges (and lawyer) is the second focus. and then romance is the smallest focus (at least for the first half of the show). it's an enemies-to-lovers dynamic, so they clash a lot in the first few episodes. but because it's a workplace drama, a lot of their relationship develops through working together, so the scenes are both personal and professional. the scenes specifically about developing their romantic relationship start halfway through the show, and we can expect it to really ramp up in the last 10 episodes.

On Hold a Court Now Apr 3, 2026
Oh my god, I love this show so much. I thought it would just be a typical modern romance drama, but I think adding in all the cases makes it so much richer than if it was just focused on ML & FL.

Also, big fan of the absolute chaos. Give me more screaming, throwing papers, and fist fights in the courtroom. So many funny scenes.

oh my god, that was a brilliant pilot. everything was so beautifully shot, creating a sense of tension and the feeling that there's something very sinister waiting to be uncovered

Can someone tell if it’s strictly legal with all of the focus on the cases or is it cases and personal life…
cases and personal lives, for sure. so far up to episode 10 we spend a lot of time with the ML and his family issues.
