Su chang he won't die in this drama, but die in The Blood of Youth.
I also think that if needed, a dead person can always be brought back to life somehow — if there’s a will to do it. But in The Blood River, I would really like a happy ending for those two brothers.

Thank you, kind soul. In *The Blood of Youth*, the story is already a bit different, and a lot of time will have passed since the events in the Blood River. I guess I’ll somehow get through it when I watch *The Blood of Youth*.
Guys, who have watched the donghua or read the original story this series is based on — please tell me: what kind of ending should we expect for Su Mu Yu and Su Chang He? Do they die? Does one of them die? Do they become enemies? I really love their friendship, but I read in one article that these characters will have a tragic ending. Please comfort me! I can’t bear seeing the characters I love die anymore.
No actual love-line, ship whoever you want with anyone as you like. And that’s not a kiss scene.
If one person kisses another, I consider it a kissing scene. I’m not interested in the shipping moments between the characters — I’m interested in what is actually written in the script.
Could you tell me if the main character will have a romantic storyline? If so, with whom? Because in the OST that was released today, there’s a scene where he’s kissed by a girl, but it’s unclear who she is.
I’m so happy, it feels like I was in the drama myself. Now I’ll be nervous about whether the series will turn out well. Before the release of LOTDT, I couldn’t sleep or eat. And this time, I’ll probably turn into a complete zombie.
And who wrote this? And where did they even see the drama?
Thank you for the explanation, but what I wanted to know is — who wrote this? Which well-known and respected critic, journalist, or director? Because the link only shows a screenshot without any author’s name (or maybe I just didn’t see it).
Meanwhile, the rating on IMDb is a ridiculously high 9.2, though its bound to come down eventually. Wouldn't be…
I heard about that scandal with Tempest. But Chinese viewers are the kind who can sink even their own actors or dramas over a trivial matter, so I’m not surprised. But here… well, this title is really fun. And the lead actors are top-notch. Their chemistry is so hot that you don’t even need romance.
I totally get your frustation but many users (like me) do not give a rating to a show before it's finished. I'm…
I understand you. I also don’t give an overall rating until I’ve finished the entire drama. And if I end up dropping it, I still don’t rate it. But I’ve noticed this kind of thing more than once, and it’s a pity that someone who isn’t very familiar with the actors or with Asian cinema in general will just take a look at the rating and move on. After all, we all value our time and don’t want to waste it on low-quality shows. This is simply a cry from the heart, because it really hurts.
Explain to me what’s going on with the ratings? When it’s some love story filled with every cliché in the cinematic world, the ratings are sky-high. But when it’s something with a truly good plot and great actors, yet without romance, the rating couldn’t be any lower. And those words that “this is only 1/3 of the drama and it will get better later” don’t comfort me. Unfortunately, it’s very rare for a show with a rating below 8.0 to rise significantly.
1. Yes there is love triangle and it is veryyyyyy hard one to choose. FL is kinda have feeling for both of them…
You can spoil it for me in private messages (for which I’ll be grateful). Sometimes spoilers help me watch a drama. But, basically, I’ve already prepared myself for the worst. Because there’s no way such an antagonist like Zheng Shi could get everything and everyone :). That just wouldn’t fit the canon of Chinese dramas.
Rumored to air in October, but if the issuing of the distribution license is delayed, it might be moved to November…
I’ll repeat: I only voiced my own thoughts. I believe that the release of posters, and later a trailer, is a good sign in the context of the upcoming premiere. Better some hype than a year and a half of silence. And if you don’t like what’s happening, you can always just ignore it, can’t you? Move on and wait for the official information.

"The iQIYI conference will take place on September 25. So, I think today or tomorrow we’ll have information about the release date." The key words here were “I think.” :) Sometimes at conferences they announce a release date or at least indicate the quarter and year. Besides, it often happens that a drama has already been licensed, but the platform remains silent. For example, that was the case with The Unclouded Soul (the license was obtained on August 20, but its availability was only announced in the second half of September).
