Please tell me, did Lici die after he turned back time? As in, he completely erased himself from everyone’s memory?
Why does this remind me so much of TDHR?

Don't take it seriously. Most viewers are joking because we had to bear with his ranting and unfounded accusations…
I wouldn’t say I take such things seriously, but the number of comments like this is surprising.
Because I feel sorry for every single person in this drama. There isn’t a single character who hasn’t made mistakes and hurt others because of them. But I would never say, even as a joke, “I hate him/her.”
Still, I understand that we’re all different, so this is just my own view and understanding.

"Lici had a million chances to show everything to Yan, but for some reason he only did it when it no longer…
If you’re already on episode 19, then you can see that Liu Yan has practically lost his mind. He doesn’t perceive reality properly anymore, and his grasp on the past is even worse.

Besides, would you personally believe someone you consider a murderer—especially when you saw with your own eyes that person taking the heart of someone you loved?

That’s why I’m not sure that even the method A’Li used at the end would have helped. But at least then he could have said, “I did everything I could.”

I honestly don’t understand why so many people are excited that Lici finally beat up Liu Yan.
To begin with, Fang Zhou ordered Lici to stay silent, saying “they wouldn’t understand.” And that is the most disastrous explanation in the entire drama. After all, cultivating gu insects is not exactly a righteous technique either. Yet no one ever hated Liu Yan for that. I think those two might not have been thrilled about it at first, but they at least understood what was going on.

Then comes the energy-exchange scene. In that episode, Fang Zhou looked as if he were about to die. And Liu Yan — who was generally more impulsive — when no one reacted to his shout, didn’t start throwing spells around, but tried to push Lici away. And then his hand seemed to freeze to Lici’s shoulder, and he couldn’t pull it back at all. In that moment part of the Rebirth Scroll technique transferred into him. Liu Yan absolutely did not intend to hurt anyone. But not knowing and not understanding what was happening led to tragedy. And all three of them were at fault: Lici and Fang Zhou — because they kept Liu Yan in the dark; and Liu Yan — because he interfered where he shouldn’t have.

After that, both Lici and Liu Yan became consumed: one by resurrection, the other by revenge. Because of their obsession, a huge number of people died. And it wasn’t only Liu Yan sending his soldiers to death — Lici coldly manipulated everyone as well.

Lici had a million chances to show everything to Yan, but for some reason he only did it when it no longer mattered.

So each of them must atone for their guilt, and I can’t fully condemn either of them or say “Lici is a saint, Yan is pure evil.” I see them as equals. And I never felt joy watching their fights — only deep sadness.

I don't think anyone has yet or is watch ATM..We all just have to wait and hope someone will spoil the ending…
So the episodes aren’t available yet? That gives at least a faint hope for something not entirely bad.
I feel so sorry for everyone. And I really don’t want these deaths.
Will the creators of the drama really not have mercy on us

Do I understand correctly that Tang Lici still doesn’t know that A-Shui is Fang Zhou’s sister?

I get why ZLG went to wrong path but why Chu yun?? Can you tell the reason for it if you know
In the teaser for episode 36, they first show Chi Yun fighting enemies, and a strange aura begins to form around him. Then they show Chi Yun again — either trapped inside that aura or already driven completely mad — but the way he looks at Tang Lici is nothing like before: his gaze is full of emptiness and hatred.
Maybe Chi Yun will be enchanted.

i LOVED their scene today 😭 yeah im sure she's acting...
This is already too much if Lici ends up losing not only Fang Zhou but also A-Shei.
I worry about all the characters, but losing those two — it would be better to die himself

Suddenly, Liu Yan didn’t die after all.
And Lici didn’t go insane.
But Chi Yun and that young lady who’s a princess-but-not-a-princess have clearly gone off in the wrong direction.
Will we get an express release tomorrow? Or are they going to drip-feed those episodes one drop at a time?

As the drama approaches its ending, I just have more and more questions and fewer answers.
1. What was that baby in episode 1? Why was it there and where did it disappear to (was it left in the temple)?
2. Why was the Rebirth Scroll technique considered extremely evil? Was it just because that super-evil master used it?
3. Why did Fang Zhou suddenly agree to use this technique? Did he simply want to live? Or were there other reasons?
4. Why did Fang Zhou order Lici not to tell the others anything? I mean, Liu Yan, who literally raised gu insects, definitely wouldn’t have accused his friend of impiety.

Basically, I’m starting to feel that Fang Zhou wasn’t as much of a saint as everyone thought.
5. Considering the spoilers for episodes 32–33, why couldn’t they show Liu Yan what was truly happening in the same way Tang Lici will later use? Again, nothing bad would’ve happened if Liu Yan and the fourth friend had known what was going on. I get that otherwise we’d have nothing to watch, but that plot twist still feels rather weakly handled

Wait till tomorrow
I definitely won’t wait any longer. If I can’t find the normal English subs, I’ll just watch the machine-translated ones.

Guys, could you please share a link to episode 31 with proper English subtitles? The machine auto-translation is a nightmare.

In my opinion WoF is not suitable for the common audience who prefer to watch repetitive storylines, avoid complex…
And what’s so wrong with people liking that gentle storyline? And what’s wrong with wanting to give the characters not endless suffering, but at least some hope for something good in the end?
I believe a story should be logical and balanced.
I haven’t read either the novel or the leaked scripts, so yes — I wish for every character to find redemption and relief, not to die just because if they suffered the whole time, then there’s no hope left for even a fragment of happiness.

It's not hard to understand. It simply uses a non-linear method for its plot and exposition.
Maybe it’s easy for you. But I’ve read countless comments where people gave this drama the lowest rating or said in the comments that they didn’t understand anything (after watching just 1–2–3 episodes). Most viewers are used to linear plots and simply don’t want to make the effort.

I think chinese writers has a big problem they mess up climax and ending they think by showing characters death…
I don’t believe that every drama has to have a happy ending. But when each of the characters carries so much pain, like in this one, shouldn’t the viewers at least be given a ray of hope, instead of having everyone—or most of them—sent off for reincarnation?
After finishing Whispers of Fate, I’ll start watching Love and Crown, and that one doesn’t promise much joy either. Suffering should come in moderation. Unfortunately, Chinese dramas tend to be either pure sweetness or pure anguish. It’s really hard to find a title that has a bit of both and still offers an interesting storyline.

How much longer are they going to show tragedy for the sake of tragedy? It’s honestly exhausting. Especially when, toward the end, the characters start dying one after another, as if they suddenly lost all sense and forgot their combat skills. And then, out of nowhere, they throw in some kind of catastrophe.
I’ve seen many comments saying the drama is hard to understand and follow—especially at the beginning. So a completely tragic ending definitely won’t make it more popular.
Personally, I’d be perfectly satisfied with an ending where Tang Lici returns to A’Shui. Even without a wedding or a bunch of children, just allowing the characters to be themselves and have a small piece of happiness in their future would be enough.

I really like this drama, especially its gentle and subtle romantic element.
Although it’s been a while since we last saw the bunny and the Third Guardian.
And the duo of Su Muyu and Su Changhe is absolutely incredible.
No female lead is needed here — she only distracts from the story.
Is there only one episode today or two?
