Are the 1st sis couple already divorced? Planning to skip last two episodes (and the angst), continue with new episodes tonight. Is there any episode recap on the internet? I couldn't find any.
I thought the first episode mentioned that he has royal lineage to the Zhao dynasty. If I remember my history…
Though, I can't connect the dots as to why the current Emperor would want to knock Chai off. The Song was already pretty established by the time of Renzong.

I'm really getting a Pride & Prejudice vibe from this drama. It's like having a Mr. Darcy from ancient China.…
I would love to see a true adaption of Pride and Prejudice based in the Song Dynasty. I think it's possible but not sure how Austen's dry wit and word play could be translated to Mandarin? Disgraceful! despite all their bravado, looks like all the men will end up kneeling on both knees to their wife 😅. At least second son in law was honest from the start. I actually like that this series is like five different mini dramas. I feel like I'm going to be able to finish this one without skipping episodes or fast forward. Look forward to 4th sis arc. Hope 6th sis gets a good man to fall on both knees too.
