50 shades of crazy

The series was most certainly entertaining. There was never a dull moment. This is definitely a plus for people who don’t like slow piece films. There was always something going on. The acting was good all around in this series. I also feel that the two leads did an amazing job.
What I like most about this series was the pacing and the acting.
What I dislike about the series was that our mail lead was left on the psycho rampage just way too long. Usually in these types of dramas the mood or temperament of the angered lead slightly shifts. It happened in this one somewhat however he maintained the role of the bad guy until nearly the last two episodes. That was just way too long. In addition to this the bickering and the misunderstandings went on to the very end and honestly for me it was a little bit exhausting. And dramas like this I usually am mellowed out by the calm moments between the lead where they have some peace and we get to see their relationship develop but it really didn’t happen here. I do feel like the lead could’ve had great chemistry however they were hardly at peace long enough to reveal any of it. There were a few moments but it was constant fighting. This is not a rewatch for me as I really couldn’t get attached to any other characters because they all seem like they had some major problems. From an onlookers perspective I would say that every cast member except for the uncle needed therapy.

Now for the crazy parts. When you find out someone is cheating on a relative the normal thing to do is let the relative know. That didn’t happen here. When someone is sexually harassing you, you report them or avoid them but you don’t find yourself missing them and the next moment be in love with them.

A melodrama at its finest. I recommend removing the romance hashtag. The was a slight romance that was crushed shortly after it bloomed. This went the opposite of up for me. At first I was like okay but then I was like no way. After that it reached a point of no redemption. Although I enjoy having a strong lead, I hate series that have them longing for each other but separated by choice, self inflicted. 70% business, 20% plotting/scheming and 10% longing/romance.

Overall it was okay but I dislike having miserable leads. Although successful, living a melancholy vibe.

Overall I would say this series was just okay. If I was completely honest I would say almost so so. My reasoning: When I say plotless, I truly mean plotless. The initial synopsis is right but the series went down this pointless mystery road that made no significant difference to the story at all. Mom is ill and her son found a clue to her recipe and he goes on this journey to find the recipe. While on said journey, everyone he runs into pretends to know nothing (for no real reason. Really) I want day to much but this is not a rewatch for me. There’s some humor, sweet scenes, romantic scenes and some sad ones. This one had one of my least favorite things (a supposedly smart person who sacrifices her happiness for someone she barely knows- insert eye roll here).

The series was unique in the sense that it covered what appeared to be actual historical events. I could be wrong but that’s what it seemed to cover. It’s tied into the story both family and loyalty.
Overall I enjoy this series. I will admit that there is more fighting and betrayal than anything else. Although it had a romance tag there was really not a lot of it. You do get the sweet elements of I love taking place and you will get a little warm and fuzzy vibe but there was so much separation and fighting that it really just seemed like a war film. Although all the fighting was not my cup of tea the writers did find a way to tie in the family and include the importance of love, heritage, inheritance and loyalty.

To summit up the theories was pretty good. If you are looking for a romantic series I honestly couldn’t recommend this one but if you are into the slow really really soft romance you might enjoy this one. Another thing is that the series seems to be surrounding an actual historical event which is clearly displayed here with the fighting and lives being lost in the impact it had on families. So if you’re into historical films this one might be one for you. It’s not too graphic but there’s people leaving home and fighting and coming back and some not coming back. For the most part oh I didn’t get really attached to any one character.

Although I enjoyed the series, this one is definitely not a re-watch for me because it wasn’t that captivating. I stuck with it in hopes that it would get a little more interesting but it really just seem to cover facts.

Extreme

Ball of confusion and everything for the making of “don’t date him” and “someone needs help” show. Y’all this was fifty shades of crazy.

Nearly everything was extreme. I got to be honest, I’m really getting tired of these lakorns that have the male lead forcing the female lead into a relationship through deceitful or bullying ways. And we as the viewers watch as the initial toxic relationship turns into love or shall I say, push/sweet talk her until she forgets all the wicked crap.

To make matters worst. We had a mom in a relationship with the dad, then the daughter marries the son. I was so confused. So the stepsiblings got married or the parents didn’t marry they were just close friends.

We got the psycho ex who goes after the unknowning new woman (just what we need, plan the female who had no idea you existed).

Our male lead was no knight in shining armor. This wasn’t your typical misunderstood guy. He was cold to those he should not have been.

Extended family was evil and crazy. The sibling and they mama was outrageous. The family members weren’t any better.

This was one of the first dramas I’ve watched and got so annoyed by the villain I just skipped their parts. One character talked trash the entire show. I mean her character was scripted to just say kill them, your beneath me and other garbage. Nothing else,

So cute

This was short, sweet and really warm. I’ve watched so many dramas that was fluffed with crazy things but this was a light hearted delight. No extreme misunderstandings. No weird triangles, events or crazy breakups.

I loved, loved, loved the communication between the couple. It was clear, direct, honest and productive. The series had a someone youthful feel to it but the relationship itself felt very mature.

I highly recommend this if your looking for a short, sweet and cute romance.

Not romantic at all, not even 1%

This was one of the most ridiculous lackhorns I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot. There was no real plot. The main lead (couple) Boulder get along for 99.8% of the series. The hated each other, then he stopped hating her but she kept hating/bickering with him/saying hateful things to him until the very last episode. I’m not saying she didn’t have a reason to dislike him but to watch the hateful/spitefulness from ep 1-34 (entire series) is a bit too much.

Let’s talk about how things played out in terms of the unification. It’s somewhat believable from a dramaland standpoint it when you look at the overall scene, it’s quite degrading.

If your looking for something romantic keep going, it ain’t here at all. Not an ounce, not even 1%. I gave it a 5 star for the music and acting but the story/script/plot was honestly just trashy.

Spoiler below

Our ML essentially marries someone while maintaining his girlfriend. She was always around even for dinner and occasional pop ins. Even if it’s marriage in name only, the events are not only unbelievable but ridiculous. It’s laughable but can’t even be looked at as a comedy. It’s like watching a person driving the wrong way on the road with a smile on their face. You in turn raise your eyebrows and twist your lip, like what the heck is going on.

The series was good but I was not prepared. It has some intense moments, some cute moments and most certainly some “my eyes are leaking moments.” I like the FL personality. She was determined and didn’t let pride stop her. Let’s not forget she was smart and capable. Our ML was funny and cute and absolutely made me grab the tissues. The only thing I don’t like about the series is the title. I thought I was getting a cute romance drama but this is not light and fluffy. It’s sweet, yet heartbreaking.

If your loooking for a light hearted romance keep moving. If your looking for drama, with tons of feels, you may like this.

A unique series with great potential. I’m a fantasy fiction fan, Olympian, percy Jackson, etc so I was hopeful for some action.

Not what I was expecting but it was okay. I honestly thought that I was going to see some controlling of the waters and powers shown but that really wasn’t portrayed her. I believe that it was truly a missed moment. In truth I was really expecting some sort of fantasy, action but Nope.

It was somewhat dragged out and uneventful. There was parts near the end that were unexplained and it had that famous, we met again ending.

I have not reviewed anything for a while but I thought I’d just add my tooth in about this one. It was honestly just OK. And while it wasn’t a horrible series I feel like it wasn’t good either. I could understand some of the emotions in the series but I just feel like this was a real dud. The ending was ridiculous. It had that cliché let’s break up and run into each other again and some years, then the end. After all of that it really seem like the female lead didn’t grow much. The supporting cast had better chemistry, better ending and a more intriguing background and story. It truly feel flat.

Amazing acting

First I want to that the FL is such an amazing actress. I mean truly. This series started out really well and progressed well toward the middle. The events, the acting, the chemistry were all great. It was truly heartfelt. My issue is as you get near the end of the series you experience the senseless push, pull. One runs away while the other chases. Then it switches around. By the end I was like “be together or just make a decision.” I loved the supporting cast their relationship really seemed to have more depth and let’s not forget that there was real growth with them.

What I like most was the acting and the plot was unique.

What I disliked was that they dragged the separation on so long between the leads. In addition to this our supporting cast seemed to get a better ending in terms of closure than the main leads.

Overall good series, I just really wish the ending was better. It was just too weak for such an emotional series.

Beware of the annoying FL

This was hard to watch for me. It has one of things I hate the most: the overly self righteous female. Dear goodness, from episode one, she was judgmental, argumentative, a slanderer and more. It’s like watching a citizen patrol correct someone without having a clue. Make an assumption and just start accusing and blaming without evidence. I can’t say that the FL acting was bad, it was most likely how her character was written. Just watching her was annoying and exhausting.

An example: a person gets hit by a car, the the character of our FL would run up to the scene, see the person on the ground and sees the male lead standing near a car. Because he was driving a car, it was probably him and probably his fault. She would then shout “it was him, don’t let him get away.” Poor guy could have just stopped to help but now branded a criminal. Those types of assumptions are made here.

To make it worse we have the cliche’ elements too.

What I do like about the series is that the families treat each other well. You can feel the warmth.

Hidden Gem

This series was absolutely amazing. It’s one of the most heartfelt dramas I’ve watched surrounding family. There was an amazing family vibe. This was a perfect reflection of what the unconventional family looks like, not simply blood connection but love, loyalty, support, unity. From beginning to end, I loved it. The story was genuine and so realistic. Each cast member was flawless. Listening to the conversations felt warm and truly like family.

There was chemistry overload among the entire cast. Perfection.

Worst FL

This could have been so good but the actions of the FL was one that struck a cord with every abandoned child and every single mom wanting support, demanding what’s right. For that reason alone, it was not the best. To make it worst, the writers want us to like and pity her. I just couldn’t.

So what you’ll get here is a person who is giving an opportunity to tell the truth to the people that matter the most but she constantly ignores the request even though it’s hurting them. The sad part was that it was all spite.
I found it rather disturbing. FL was one of the most selfish, but the writers wanted her to be loveable! Nothing lovable about lying to your kid for over a decade and ignoring her feelings and hiding a child away from her father. It’s actually quite disturbing. The guy wasn’t abusive, dangerous or a threat in any way but she got in her feelings, disappeared and hurt/betrayed two people. If the writers made her remotely remorseful maybe it would’ve been better but she rode that lie until the very last few episodes even though her daughter was hurting. It’s actually pretty bad. Not cute.

Then she lets the kid misunderstand and blame the guy for abandoning her, like really. He had no idea she existed. The mom was awful.

So, was it love? Nope. It was Mrs selfish strikes again.

Lively and interesting series. I feel odd saying this but I was so excited to watch this but it honestly did play out on that expected note. The series started out at a fairly decent pace and it was initially very captivating. It was upbeat. The characters seemed like they were going to be these amazing and powerful people so I decided to give it a go. Overall the series was OK. Now my OK may not seem fair to all of the Dilraba fans but this is just how I felt. I personally felt like she didn’t bring any emotions to this character and I found myself somewhat disinterested in the events surrounding her. I am assuming that she was to be portrayed as this loyal and heroic person but I think how it came together it just didn’t work. She was pretty, could fight and was smart but she didn’t really do anything that got me hyped. Our male lead had some amazing fight scenes and he really revealed how dynamic is acting skills were on many scenes.

Now for the first time, after so many series: I was more drawn to the second leads\couple. There were so many emotions going on with these two. It was heartfelt, sweet and somewhat exciting too. In truth, you get more development from the second leads than from anyone else. You also get a beginning, middle and conclusion. Yes, no cliffhangers.

Overall it was fair. It’s not on my rewatch list. I really did love the music.

Cast: I am definitely a fan of the female lead. I have enjoyed almost every drama she has stared in. Today I can officially say that the ML is also going to be an actor that I am watching for. He’s performance in this series with amazing. From the main leads to the secondary to the supporting cast, every cast member performed well. The energy that they brought to series really made it what it was.

Action: there was tons it. The fighting in this series is one that had me rewinding and re-watching them more than twice. Some of the choreography in terms of how they maneuver around and did all of these moves while they were fighting is something that was commended by followers and viewers while watching this series. I can almost guarantee that if you watched it you are going to rewind a couple of these scenes at least three times. They did not dial back with the action. In truth it almost look like these people are good actors but they’re not but it always looks so cool real.

Plot: what can I say? Initially I wasn’t really sure what the flight was but if you read the synopsis you will get somewhat of an idea. In reality it’s a battle of kingdoms. And not multiple kingdoms there’s really just one main one and then you have a few small little class but there is bickering and plotting amongst the minor one toward the larger one. I believe that the bigger plot about one princess a.k.a. the female lead fight for justice and her revenge. Although the revenge is really not a major part of the series. From start to finish you don’t really feel like the theories were all over the place. Everything had a clear point and added value.

Romance: yes I put a romance tag here because it’s listed under the genre historical romance. To be completely honest I liked the series a great deal but in terms of romance, it wasn’t present. Which leads me to my next point; the chemistry between the leads was almost nonexistent. Hilarious point is when they have a kiss scene or about to kiss, they’re replaced with a bird kissing each other supplement. Throughout series I also felt like they were just not in sync. I guess another word it just means that I didn’t really feel the intimacy. And yes you can have intimacy without all of the censored singing is it spell more like friends not lovers.

Characters: most of the characters were likable. Of course in every series I have to be a villain and we do have one here. The twister that is the villain is kind of an unexpected one. My favorite character in the series is best ‘Sher’. He’s not the main lead but for me he appears to be loyal, sweet, and passionate.

2nd FL and 2nd ML were great. They had such character growth.

No really overly annoying cast members.
