THE DRAMA
After days of long and intense dramas that have heart wrenching scenes that do not seem to end, watching something short, sweet and fluffy is exactly what I needed. I came upon this accidentally and I must say, this was the happiest accident I have ever been through.
There were a lot of smiles, laughs and almost-tears. Even though it is only a special, I was still hooked by the solid writing and the good casting and even better acting.
THE ACTORS
I am currently rewatching a Jin Ki-joo drama and when I saw her in this, I almost did not recognize her. However, her staple dimples and captivating gaze finally gave her away. It was fun watching Kim Seul-gi, Ahn Hyo-seop and Jin Ki-joo all in one drama (they are some of my favourite actors). This is the earliest works I have seen for all of them and I must say, they have either improved and/or continue to capture my attention with their skills.
Yoon Doo Joon was a nice surprise. [I think I am in love ( ♡•♡ ) ] Every time he coughed/cleared his throat, he reminded me of Kim Nam-gil as Heo Im in Live Up To Your Name (⌒▽⌒) [Another one of my favourites]. I will definitely be watching more of his previous works as I (im)patiently wait for his new dramas/movies to come.
FINAL NOTES
Everybody gave their all in this and the result is a heartwarming 2 hour 20 minute success of a story.

I know the good guys will win in the end, but I hope ZYC's character will stay alive.
I like it!I started this drama 'cause I was bored and had nothing better I wanted to watch. I'm in the early episodes of Zheng Yecheng's drama 'Love Under the Full Moon' and I'm waiting for all episodes to be free and with English subs. Then I stumbled upon Stealth Walker.
Best. Thing. Ever.
At on episode 6 of 24, I can feel that I'm gonna need more episodes before we get to the end.
This drama is really good. It's not great or award winning, but it has just the right amount of goodness. I'm liking the police action, the undercover storyline and the little cutie, Coco. She's so precious.
Episode 6 is the best and funniest so far and I just know it will get better. Let's hope I'm not disappointed.

WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH.For those of you who made it to episode 17 and continued watching, you are strong and I am NOT.
ಠ_ಠ
I have this ( ಠ_ಠ ) permanently on my face and until I watch something cheerful or even scary or just anything to change my mood, it won't be going away.
I am currently watching Victoria Song in Find Yourself and I hadn't decided of I liked her acting or not. I thought if I watched something else she had been it, I could gauge how I feel. Unfortunately, I picked the worst possible drama to do so.
Some cons I would like to address:
• Helan Jingting is a stalker. I mean, most male leads in rich-man/poor-woman dramas are stalkers, but he gave off really creepy stalker vibes. Especially in that club scene. Every time there were together, I couldn't wait for her to get away from him ಠ﹏ಠ Maybe it was Johnny Huang's choice of acting style or the way the character was written, I did not find Helan Jingting romantic in the slightest.
• Guan Pipi was such a boring female lead. SOOOOOO boring. I thought she wanted to be an environmental journalist, but that didn't pan out and she went back to the gossip magazine because the plot demanded it. That's all I can think of. IDK what to say. There wasn't anything speci about her. She didn't stand out at all. All I'll ever remember from this is Victoria Song's one or two facial expressions.
• Left Priest, Zhao Song....... You bastard.
• Qianhua....... You really deserved so much better. It shouldn't have ended like that for you. I am so sorry.
And the pros:
I put the cons first 'cause I had to get them out of my system.
• Xiaoju, Kuanyong and Xiu Xian, you never failed to make me smile, but it isn't enough to continue this train wreck of a drama.

Nothing special.
I'm bored.Characters & Actors:
Park Seo Joon is such a wonderful actor. They all are, but I teared up when he didn't get up from the may during his last fight. My heart broke.
But either than that, I don't enjoy watching the show. All of the highlights and funny and cute moments in every "KDrama funny /cute moments" are just that one scene and that draggy in betweens. I think I should have watched this earlier before the 100 other dramas I've seen. Everything they do feels so trope-y. I can't watch this with fresh eyes. I just want to skip over to the fight scenes and him kicking Tak-su's a**. KICK HIS A**!
Right! Tak-su! That mess of a character. He is the definition of a one-dimentional Villian. He is just there to be an antagonist. Nothing more. And all of his arguments and provocations, 'Your sister.... You're a beggar.... Need more money? .... Would be nothing without my (family's) money..... Blah, blah, blah...." Arg, shut up!
The other couple (Seol-hee/Sul-hee and that guy) are a breakup waiting to happen. Until he comes out and says he has a gf at work that he loves/gets a clue and shuts the interns feelings down/freaking SOMETHING! Their relationship won't end well. And she needs a bit more confidence. She's great, but a little confidence goes a long way.
That dude wanting to date Ae-ra..... I really don't like him. At. All. His character makes me uncomfortable. I think his actions should be coming off as cute, but they aren't. Every time he touches Ae-ra, I skirm.
The heifer. Ae-ra's rival. That b*TCH. *Sigh* I hope your story comes to an end very soon.
Dong-man's coach and the Mystery Landlady, love them!
Music:
I only like the 'My Way' theme. If an OST has been playing, I haven't heard it. Nothing has caught my attention. Nothing.
* The first part was written in November 2020. It's currently April 2021. I've finished the drama. It was okay.

The drama should be called Crown Prince's Family Drama
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms - TMOPBYang Mi - YM
Ethan Juan - EJ
Mark Chao - MC
Legend of Fu Yao - LOFY
Lai Yi - LY
After watching TMOPB , I thought I'd never be able to find another male lead that would compliment YM as well as MC did.... Then I started watching LOFY and EJ stole my heart with his many mesmerising smiles.
EJ and LY were my absolute favourite characters of the whole series. Both magnificent in their own way; EJ as the kickass Crown Prince who always knew how to get his girl out of trouble and LY as the Divine Doctor with many tricks up his sleeve. Would it have been interesting to see our hero choose the world over our heroine? sure.. But then there wouldn't be a series to watch if he had. Would it have been better for the Divine Doctor to initially finish the job himself? oh yeah!
I felt that the story revolved around EJ's character and YM was just along for the ride. They would occasionally mention her destiny and hint about her true identity, but only near the second half did they realise, "oh yeah, this drama is called LOFY, we should probably talk about that too". YM felt like an afterthought when they got to her story and EJ was the main character.
Once you're half way through the series, everything will start to make sense and it'll all tie together. Although there were times when the series would do that whole 'montage-of-memories' every time someone would die, or almost die, and the plot twists stopped feeling twisty and were just predictable, but it was all worth it.
EJ and YM get their happily ever after and that's all that matters to me.

It's alright.
Major spoilers. Please, read another review. I'm venting. The first 5-6 episodes are good, but after he gets back into the role of President-to-be, it feels like a completely different drama.
• Episodes 1-5:
The whole drama is predictable and fun. I like how she is a capable person all on her own. She's smart, hard-working and reliable. Then there's Xiao Ba who is a complete mess. These episodes were hilarious and adorable. Then he goes back to work.
• Episodes 6-8:
It has become a typical "rich man/poor woman" drama. With scheming family members and a "brother" who's in love with FL but won't say anything until it's too late.
It still good. I'm only watching for Anxin and Ling Yue's relationship, as well as the LY's doctor and his secretary/assistant (Ai Li). They're cute. Third brother (Ling Sheng, I think) really needs to up his game if he wants to get the woman he likes (Xin'er???).
And what has happened with First brother??????? Did we just gloss over the fact that he tried to kill Ling Yue?!?!? Like, that did happen. Are we not gonna talk about it? Or have him fired from the company??! Huh?
• Episodes 10-14:
Anxin and Ling Yue are a mess.
Ling Fang is an even bigger mess.
• Episodes 15-24:
Nice plot twist. It upset me 'cause I wanted that character to get a HEA. Ai Li and Xiao Yin Shang are cute. I skipped a lot of everyone else's scenes. A lot. Even Anxin and Ling Yue's scenes.
I could have skipped this drama and lived happier without knowing anything of it.

All smiles all the time (≧▽≦)
Watch the drama. It is great! To avoid spoiling it, I won't write about the story. You just need to watch it yourself. The acting, on the other hand, I have to write about.
Lu Zhao Hua (Gu Xiao Man), Liu Yu Han (Zuo An) and Xie Zhi Xun (Shen Chen Yang) were my reasons to smile when watching this drama.
LZH is the most adorable actress I have watched in a long while. I enjoyed every facial express (especially her cute pouts), every small gesture and every time to threatened to hit Zhan Yue. When she became the all powerful kickboxer around Zhan Yue and the complete 180 she would make whenever Zuo An was around made me enjoy her acting. She was A JOY to watch.
Then there was LYH and XZX as love rivals. Although Liu Yun Jun (Zhan Yue) was also part of that love square, he annoyed the life out of me. Which could attest to his acting skills or my hatred for annoying male second leads, but it probably the former. Zuo An was cold at first, then he began to thaw once he got to know (and fall deeper in love) with Gu Xiao Man. Then there was Shen Chen Yang whose character was very predictable, but was portrayed so well, I did not care how clichéd his storyline was. XZX's habit of saying, "Gu Xiao Man" with his chin jutting out (ʃƪ^3^)(ʃƪ^3^)(ʃƪ^3^)*sigh*
I (almost) don't want to watch their other dramas because I would hate to ruin the wonderful image in my mind (and heart).

I'm not ready.
For the past 18 months I have watched and re-watched Guardian three times. Every time I stop watching I'm theast four episodes. I once saw a spoiler that broke my heart and really put me off, because it screamed, "TRAGIC ENDING".I think I'm ready now, for that ending. Although it will be painful and give me puffy eyes, I'll still watch it. I have to and you have to if you're reading this review.
Everything leading up to the last few episodes is amazing. The characters are funny and sweet and caring and such a lovely little family, that I'll make the finale all the more special. Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are soulmates and Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu really worked hard to show that to the audience. Even though this is hella censored (what with the obvious script changes when character's mouths, voices and words don't match and along with the bts parts that should have been added to make the show 10x better), they did the best with what they were given.
It's time to say goodbye.
If you read this review: watch the show or don't watch the show. Idk. Idc. But I know I'm gonna re-watch everything for the 4th time and finish it. Then come back here and write all about it.

As the story unfolds....it becomes more enjoyable.
Spoiler for Episodes 1-3 then a final review once I've finished the drama.First episode
I have seen 2 of Victoria Song's dramas and I've dropped them both (for various reasons), but I'm willing to give this one a chance. This is the first drama starring Oho Ou that I've ever watched and after only the first episode, I can tell I'm gonna love his acting.
I'm unfamiliar with the rest of the cast except for Ryan Zhang (from Love O2O and Eternal Love/TMOPB).
It's extremely sinister. Youze is made out to be a monied stalker who has fabricated their love story. This actually reminds me of that Netflix movie with Brenda Song (Secret Obsession). However, our guy here might not be the villain with the way things may go after episode 1, there will be a lot of misunderstandings and putting our trust in the wrong people—people who may have led to Qianyi's mountain accident—and definite mistrust in Youze. So, if the music continues in this way (which I think it will), I might not like the main lead all that much at first.
Even though as the story unfolds things will become clearer for the audience, Qianyi is about to manipulated into believing Youze is a dodge dodge person.
Second and third episodes
Yes, he should have hidden some of the truth for so long. Yes, locking her up against her will and refusing for her to do anything by herself if unfair and wrong. I aagree. He needs to work on his trust and fears and have more faith in her ability to remember. He needs to give her her freedom back. All of it. If he continues in this way, he will push her out of his life.
Now, on to a more pressing matter: At this point, we can't trust anyone else besides Youze.
I don't, for one second, find Dr Fang inconspicuous. Is he the person sending her the lavender letters?? Isn't she allergic to lavender?? It can't be the peanut butter, can it?????? There's no way Youze wouldn't know that! It has to be Dr Fang or that violin teacher or someone else!
If only she would voice her concerns more. That talk at the dinner table about what she wanted to do and how she wanted to move forward after their "heated discussion" was perfect. I wish she'd asked him about the lavender letters. *Sigh*.

Yet another drama so brilliant that I must read the book.
I'm gonna pause this.I'm on minute 2 of episode 36 and I'm going to pause right there, because the girl isn't ready to say goodbye.
I've read only one Priest book and that's Guardian. It is BRILLIANT. Everything about that book is beautiful. So much so, that I was pissed that the screenwriters changed a lot of great plot points in the show—and the ending ಥ_ಥ
I'm going to read Faraway Wanderers before I watch the whole of episode 36. Then I'll write a proper review.
What I can say, though:
• Simon Gong and Zhang Zhehan are my new favourite ship (in the show).
• I always knew ZZH was a good actor, he just need a good script.
• SG is going places and wherever they may be, may he find his way back to ZZH.
• Priest is my new favourite BL web novel writer.

Treat it like a short movie. +/- 85 minutes of BL goodness. It i best not to compare it to other BL dramas or movies from other countries. They are way ahead of South Korea in this aspect. Once I stopped doing that, I enjoyed it more. For a drama/movie that had little to work woth, it gave viewers a lot to enjoy. The acting was spot on; I did feel heartbroken when the separation we saw coming happen.
I am glad their choice of muic sparked feeling when it came down to those intense scenes.
Let us hope South Korea will take this as a challenge to improve on all of this.
Spoilers:
Hye Mi's Mom was my favourite character in the drama, because she represented every BL watcher out there who rooted for our boys. As soon as she saw them together, she knew exactly what was going on and she never stopped believing in their love T_T And when she hugged Kang Gook all on her own, oh, how I wish it was me!!!!!! (♡•♡)

I was wrong about this drama.
A few months ago, I started watching 'Marry Me' and I'd only made it through the first 2 episodes. They were extremely boring and I'd had better things to watch. Now, however, I have watched all that I want to watch and I'm finding it difficult to get into any costume CDrama at all. So I decided to give this another chance and I'm really glad I did.
What I loved?
Firstly: The characters
Although I've only ever watched Shane Xiao in "Legend of the White Snake", her acting isn't half bad. I liked her character a lot and I knew I was only getting into this drama for her. After 6 episodes, I started watching for all of the other characters are well. I'm enjoying the fact that everyone has (or will have) a partner. I'm enjoying those sweet pre-couple moments that are building the foundation for (hopefully) healthy and adorabpe relationships. And I'm most definitely enjoying the chemistry between Long Yue and Ju Mu'er. (I can kinda understand why everyone likes him in "The Eternal Love" series. Might watch them one day).
Secondly: The story.
Even though there's nothing new or unique about it, it's being executed very well (imo). Thankfully they didn't just throw us into a wedding day/night scene and have some narrator ask the audience, "I bet you're wondering how I got here?" Then a flashback that explained some things but not all things. The way this was plotted out is very entertaining. I like this whole backstory before they decide to get 'fake' married. It feels more genuine when you (as the drama's storyline) and the audience go through the whole journey from start to finish together. It also guarantees a more satisfying ending. Even if it were to be 30 seconds long, I have enough material from the first 8 episodes to be content with however long a HEA the screenwriters choose to give me.
What I hated?
Nothing, really. Maybe the music? I'll have to listen to the OST on its own because I'm too engrossed in the story to also listen to the background music.

It wasn't for me.
Major spoilers, especially about the ending. If you like this drama and want to start or continue watching it, don't read any further.Three seasons why I dropped this drama.
1. It was boring from the very beginning: Nothing about it appealed to me. Then I continued watching only for Lee Rang. I read the ending. It's beautiful. Sacrificing himself for his brother (ToT)(ToT)(ToT)
2. I only watched for Lee Rang: Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum had a great on-screen relationship. Lee Rang was my favourite character. But the romance was so boring. And the FL's story never tugged at my heart strings like it should have.
3. The OST was not memorable: Although the songs are good, Kim Jong Wan and Shownu were my faves, they were wasted in this drama (◕‸ ◕)

This drama was not for me.
Xu Kai has a drama coming out with Yang Mi. I started this drama so I may fall for him, so that when I see him with YM, I'll like him more.Worst. Decision. Ever.
I've been seriously watching dramas for 2 years now and I know what I like and what I do not like.... And I don't like this drama.
From the acting, to the story to the music, absolutely nothing is memorable or entertaining enought to continue watching.
The only e-sports related drama I ever watched was Go Go Squid and if it weren't for Yang Zi and Li Xian's beautifully adorable (although ridiculously frustrating) romance, then I would not have finished it. Also, the way the e-sports storyline was written was so brilliant and captivating that I rooted for them in every competition they had. I don't have those feelings for FIYS. I don't care about the romance or the e-sports and from the 8 episodes I've watched, that's all there is to it. It ticks off many of my favourite cliches and tropes from dramas and executes them poorly.
Then there's the lackluster chemistry between Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao. I just roll my eyes at everything they do together. Sometimes cliche Main Leads that are written in this way can capture the audience and make us love them and everything they do, but it takes the skill of the actor and the production and editing crew to bring them to life on-screen. XK and CX's characters have no life. Although XK is trying his best, he is only as good as his co-star. I know nothing about CX nor have I seen her other works and this drama was really not the way to start things off. I remember her only having three facial expressions the entire 8 episodes.
The script didn't help at all, either. I skipped through most of the dialogue because I knew what they were going to say. I have no issues with tropey dramas. I sometimes love them. However, this drama was nothing but poorly executed tropes.
Then there's the side characters who aren't memorable either. If I can't watch the drama for the mains, I should at least be left with a supporting cast that would make me reconsider continuing the drama.....in FIYS, there is no such supporting cast. I kind of liked CX's ex in the drama. Whenever they showed the flashbacks to their relationship, those moments were sweet and natural. Much better than whatever was going in with CX and XK's characters. If I'd been the screenwriter, I would have written the ex as less sexist to women in e-sports, gotten him and CX back together, then XK would have ended up with his old teammate from South Korea. Ever if CX didn't end up with anyone and just achieved greater things in the e-sports world, that would have been a good ending too.
I'm not in the business of watching something I don't like at all.
If you're a fan of any of the cast, this is a very subjective opinion on FIYS and their acting. Maybe if watch their other dramas/movies, I'll begin to like them, but FIYS was the worst decision I ever made in terms of being introduced to XK. I'll just wait for She and Her Perfect Husband to be released, just incase I do more damage than good.
*EDIT*
This drama was so boring, I didn't even realise until after posting this review that freaking SEVENTEEN and WAYV sing OSTs.

I'll listen to the soundtrack separately.

I loved it.
I remember watching this during my early stages of being a Asian drama addict (≧▽≦)(≧▽≦)(≧▽≦)(≧▽≦) I only knew Park Hae Jin (from CITT) and Lee Jong Suk (from W) and LITERALLY no one else. Now that I have fallen in love with kpop as well, I'm here on some, "BUT ISN'T THAT KAI FROM EXO" (≧▽≦)(≧▽≦)(≧▽≦)(≧▽≦). Anyway.
This was an ad. A colossal ad. With eye candy. I think it's best not to take it too seriously. The low rating astonishes me. I've watched worse, full length dramas that could not deliver the kind of (floabw) 'power' 7FK's.
Y'all need to calm down with these bad reviews, but then again, to each their own.
