is the drama that bad? i really liked the webtoon tho..
They literally changed up everything from the webtoon. Honestly, this show doesn't have any connection to the webtoon apart from the characters' names. Just a namesake adaptation.
I need to rant so yeah: -I just did not like Samantha. P.E.R.I.O.D. -Also, I felt they killed Sato (the best part of this show) off just because they had to get rid of somebody from season 1. Cliche american TV show formula. -I really wonder why they needed Yamashita Tomohisa to play Akira. Like so random. It felt borderline a guest role borderline a bit part. -Why did they have to make Jake and Samantha kiss in the last episode?!?- It felt like a forced plotline.
It reminded me of hometown, especially with the creepy lady and Shin Hakyun's super calm demeanor. Fingers crossed…
Ikr! It started off so strong, so reminiscent of some classic j-horror movies, so much potential and then it just went haywire midway with the whole cult thingy. Even thinking of it now, i get goosebumps out of disappointment lol
The trailer looks amazing. Although you can't trust it because it wouldn't be the first time it's a disaster,…

So what happened in the end?? Did Hae won die?? Was she a bad person?? Wasn't it sad that Hee Joo ended up being…
Hae won doesn't die and we see that she even has an art exhibition after the time jump. Hee Joo does end up alone and possibly was planning to end her life at the lake(as she says this is the end of my story). And the bells you hear at the end is a reference to a story Woojae said in the episode (which if you want you can refer here: https://mydramalist.com/profile/TheDevilWearsKarma/feeds/eQYW2Ty)
I can't believe I'm saying this- but I could really relate to and empathise with Hansu this episode. Your struggling with stuff yourself but don't want to bother burdening others with your feelings cause everyone else around you is having a hard time too.
This crappy adaptation just does not live up to the far 'superior' webtoon. Infact, whatever has been happening so far in the show has absolutely no connection to the comic except for the characters' names. Disappointed and Dropped.
Although it started off slow, it definitely caught pace and also caught my attention. Firstly, the production is mindblowing- something you'd mostly get in movies. There were some moments where the tension could have been built better and unnecessary cuts did make it little confusing but I appreciate how the show didn't spell things out for the audience and allowed the viewer to analyse. And the gold was hands down my favourite character in the show!
All in all, this was a solid adventure-mystery- suspense show and delivered as much as it promised. 9/10
Being worshiped VS being acknowledged, respected Etc are very very different things…
Just like Mr. Gu, Merriam-Webster's synonyms of worship helped me understand what Mijung wanted to say😅 And naturally worship isn't to be interpreted in its usual sense in this context.
Han Soo seems to be the kind of father who doesn't want his daughter to compromise in life like he did, and hence turns his back against what reality has in store. And I swear if he does anything to my dear Eunhee, I'm gonna fly to SK and stamp his already broken toe.
