Sanho’s “death” doesn’t fully land, too many suspicious details in that ship scene, an empty control room,…
I had to laugh about that Amnesie Part.
I’d honestly rather believe he has amnesia than accept that the writers actually came up with that nonsense — that he chose to never see her again and said goodbye in the desert by burying the necklace. That makes zero sense, especially after he kept promising over and over that he’d stay by her side, even if she couldn’t see him.
If you're wondering if he died, no, he didn’t. The gates of the control room was open and it was empty. His…
I’m not entirely with you on this one.
He’s American — he even receives the Medal of Honor in the U.S. I honestly think the writers messed up the ending.
It makes no sense that he promises her a hundred times that he’ll always be there for her, behind her, protecting her — and then he breaks her heart, chooses to live alone, and even lets go of her necklace, the last thing he had left of her.
That’s just bad writing, because his whole character was built around that vow: “I’m here, and I’ll stay with you.” But who knows what exactly he told her on that boat that made her leave in the end.

No she has not found him again because in the last sequence in the church she prays : and once the people found peace please bring me back my poor lost love.
can you maybe explain to me the last Sequenz in the desert with the necklace ? was it dream ? I don’t get why…
I’m completely with you on that.
But if the explanation really is that he thinks it’s better to stay away entirely, that’s just way too much of a 180-degree turn. The episode before, in that scene in the rain, he literally said he didn’t want her to run away — that she should keep following her political convictions and her desire to help others, and that he’d always be there.
And then suddenly he decides to stay behind in the desert and lets go of the necklace from the love of his life — the one who made it painfully clear how much she needs him?
No way. If that desert scene was actually real, I’m gonna be so mad 🤣
I dont think the scene in the desert was real. if he made it out alive he would’ve went to her to protect her. even if she doesn’t notice it. but fairly he wouldn’t sit in the desert tho since he made a promise to her and always acted on it.
I think it was more symbolic because he wanted to take her there.
what do you think.
I am unsatisfied with the ending. so many questions I don’t like it. -.-

But the thing is — if he really is still alive, then he could go to her. He doesn’t have to say goodbye forever 😅 She’s suffering and, in a way, still waiting for him, even though in the final scene she says that he lives on within her no matter what. and he promised he would always be behind and watching her.
or maybe we are all delusional and he died. I dont like the ending -.-
I just finished watching this drama and I’m blown away! I’m so glad I waited till it was completed before…
can you maybe explain to me the last Sequenz in the desert with the necklace ? was it dream ? I don’t get why he’d bury the necklace that reminds him of the love of his life. also… if he’s still alive why isn’t he with or or at least close to her like they promised ? I’m so unsatisfied
I think so. we can see that the fence separated the bomb room had been unlocked and he was no longer seen in the…
Sorry but what makes you think the desert scene was real. why would he bury the necklace of the love of his life. this is so confusing. he always promised to be with her. shes now broken. I thought it was a dream sequence since she was saying in the end she will always Carry him with her
I see why some people say that they like the ending cause Sanho let Munju choose her career over their love. While…
I understand what you’re saying, but the point here is that she didn’t want to be without Sanho — and she emphasized that again when they were sitting in the car in the rain. He also said he wouldn’t run away with her, but that she should continue her political work, and he would always be with her.
Now she’s completely broken and has lost the love of her life. So if he’s actually still alive and deliberately chose not to show up, that’s absolute nonsense.

I hated the ending lol
