glad I saw this just in time, I was literally about to ask that user what their issue was with Toto (New) because she made it seem like he was unfit for Tay… & I’m like are we watching the same show!? now I see it’s just another toxic human! it’s incredibly disturbing to see the lengths that some people will go to be hateful. I’m almost certain they cast this teacher for her looks and so called “western” features…but, OMG is she insufferable! almost every plan/ idea she has is NEVER thought out…but somehow she always ends up being the damsel in distress! like, girl… get it together!
also, whoever styled Neo for this series deserves a raise! He was jaw droppingly handsome/beautiful! I’m not sure what combination they unlocked with him, but the hair, the skin and the looks were just flawless!

This is not just some passive or light topic to highlight…especially in a BL! Thua put Akk (& Ayan) at risk of all type of physical harm, emotional tormoil and pain for his own personal self righteous & flawed ideology! while everyone just brushed it off. The fact that Khan (Neo) still pursued him afterwards is baffling to me. The writers/direcrors were incredibly sloppy with how they handled the aftermath of the damage Thua caused!
all and all, the show was definitely worth watchig for sure! I mean look at the cast line up! A1 actors across the board!

For example, people will say, “the bottom in khemjira is really cute” instead of just saying “the second ML in khemjira is cute” in context I understand your sentiments…but in reality, its such a cringy thing to say out loud… please don’t take this as an insult or me calling you out. just spreading awareness. 🌱
hmmm, well written simply equals “well written” which to me implies compelling, believable characters, a rhythmic flow, and vivid, concise dialogue that keeps the audience fully immersed; not disjointed or rushed. AND … I would also like to enjoy a BL that is everything that I mentioned above, but doesn’t end in dispair or pain for the audience or characters. for example: a balloons landing, Shine, etc. 😉
For the love of all things BL…Please let this have a well written story/plot! Also, not another sad or depressing bitter sweet (open-ending) type of ending…because that has the theme for most big box (Netflix) BL’s lately! 🤞🏼
I’m hoping that the writers do a good job at flushing out He Jin’s character soon (Chen Ken’s roommate) on the surface he might seem like a disgruntled “weirdo” as most people peg him to be. however, I think he’s way more layered than that. Maybe it’s his own insecurities of being a loner, lacking true friends and his own internal negative monologue that makes him feel like an outcast; just an observation! I’m curious to see how this unfolds.
