when kdramas introduce pain and suffering they never plan to let up… it’s like they find every scenario to put one human being through and amplify it x 1000! not sure if it’s a personal vendetta against “good hearted” people or if it just makes for a good on screen punching bag! either way, it’s disturbing to watch play out at times.

but for now…I have one question for those saying that there is one more “special” episode coming… seriously?!!!! what will 20 more minutes provide that an entire 12 episode series didn’t / couldn’t?

I totally understand the “high” right now… but at some point you have to raise the bar! please hold these writers, directors accountable for wasting everyone’s time, including these amazing actors.

that soft and gentle tone that Jiakai uses when he says Dawei’s name needs to be studied (primarily in the beginnings of ep 7) it’s so sweet and innocent…yet, deeply affectionate.

is it just me or does anyone else see the similarities between Liu Yu Ren and the Korean actor Song Joong-ki (from Vincenzo) — not identical, but they could definitely pass as siblings!

Not sure if this has already been addressed, but I’m wondering if Lin Kai’s character was originally written to be autistic (on the spectrum) which would actually make this series even more interesting to me. maybe it’s the awkward & intense naivety coupled with his inability to pick up on social cues (read the room)…
the actor (Bruce) does such a great job portraying this character. love it!

glad I saw this just in time, I was literally about to ask that user what their issue was with Toto (New) because she made it seem like he was unfit for Tay… & I’m like are we watching the same show!? now I see it’s just another toxic human! it’s incredibly disturbing to see the lengths that some people will go to be hateful.

He O*TED Akk (& Ayan) in such a shameful & visceral way! This is not just some passive or light topic to highlight…especially in a BL! Thua put Akk (& Ayan) at risk of all type of physical harm, emotional tormoil and pain for his own personal self righteous & flawed ideology! while everyone just brushed it off. The fact that Khan (Neo) still pursued him afterwards is baffling to me. The writers/direcrors were incredibly sloppy with how they handled the aftermath of the damage Thua caused!

all and all, the show was definitely worth watchig for sure! I mean look at the cast line up! A1 actors across the board!
