No way , I am not going to watch today without subtitles. I want to understand every scene.
yeah, sure…nice try!!! you know we will all be tuned in, front and center, regardless; trying to piece together every scene by context clues & vibes alone. 😂
to think…SaenKaew hasn’t truly smiled or been happy ever since he lost his mother. we’ve only seen glimpses of his smile and happiness since meeting Sasin. just imagine the type of joy he could be experiencing if it wasn’t for his deplorable father! honestly, him and Sasin deserve their little island getaway… consider it his pre-bachelor party gift!
but we all know the dad is going to teleport from the middle of the ocean, because “Lakorn” to ruin everything!
I hope in ep7 Sasin and Saenkaew fall in love in that island and do "it".. no other place and time that…
I literally laughed out loud at this comment!
but I also don’t want to be let down by their intimate scene(s), even if they only give us a kiss scene…it better be the best kiss is BL history! not some dead fish (lips barely touching) BS!
because, why hype us up with all this tension and angst just to let us down! just give us a bromance (no kiss) if that’s the case. 😉
I dislike Sasin’s character. He is too nosy and too forward. He just acts based on his intrusive thoughts without…
sasin (a poor musician) who’s doing his best to protect the people he loves…while also falling “in love” is not an easy feat!
honestly, if Sasin’s character was spineless, hollow and soft spoken he would be just as useless as everyone else. He moves to the beat of his own drum; carefree! His tactics might be brash and annoying, but when dealing with powerful people like Prince Kamfa and the colonial…Sasin is the perfect person to have on your side. he stands his ground and speaks from his heart! some people see him as hostile, others, like myself, see him as passionate and intentional!
also, I don’t think Pin is in denial, per say! we, the audience has seen everything up til now, while pin is just now catching up to what’s been going on. she definitely suspects soemthing, but she’s also blinded by her own fairytale ending. so, regardless of what she saw, she has her own motives as well!
at the end of the day, the grandmother is of the royal family, they are all about power, wealth and honor. Their “duty” comes before any happiness.
UNLESS, the writers decide to redeem her character towards the end and the family decides to put saenkaews happiness 1st, for once in his life.
I'm waiting very patiently for this to be completed but it better not have a sad ending or I'm gonna riot
if a show that’s airing starts tapering into an “unpromising/ traumatic/ depressive ending” I will just watch up until the last 2-3 episodes of a show… then refer to MDL or those discreet YT video edits to determine if I should continue watching or not.
got to protect my peace. directors nowadays think depressing endings is rhe only way to go! idk!
I heard they’ve become a fixed pairing,even tho one31 doesn’t do that,but it seems the viewers rock with the…
interesting! hopefully those same “fans”/ viewers don’t become overbearing and toxic (like so many of them nowadays) pairings can be a beautiful thing, but they can also be a double edged sword.
all and all, i wish these two actors the best in whatever they decide to do in the future! 💕
Sankaew is so happy when he is with Sasin.. my baby been through so much abuse
I was watching the dad’s face while the grandmother shared with him how happy and lively SaenKaew has been since meeting Sasin. you’d think the dad would feel a little sympathy towards his son. Nope, he just doubled down and became even more cruel towards him.
like, imagine hearing that your child is happier now and your immediate response is to harass & assault him. sheesh!
OMFG BRO THIS GRANDMA IS SO FUCKING USELESS. She is powerless, fragile and is only alive for now to be a emotional…
I literally gasped and paused the show when she outright fainted (while sitting in a plush chair) from that toddler scuffle between her and Pin’s stepmother.
the writers/ directors must not know any old people at all. you’d think they wrote this character for a 90yr old!
What if Khamsu is secretly In love with Prince Kamfa, but never really crossed the line because of his position. Or better yet, what if they both had a mutual attraction for one another when they were younger, but never dared to act on those feelings due to the disparity in their social classes and societal prejudices against homosexuality.
Honestly, it’s easier to believe that Prince Kamfa is just another cruel and corrupt POS, wielding his ill-gotten wealth and influence to dominate everything in his life. But that’s too obvious.
it just dawned on me that Pin doesn’t have anyone that she loves or trust more than Sasin and SaenKaew. they both show her true love and affection without wanting anything in return. I see why she is so worried when they argue, because they symbolize her “safe space” and she feels even more vulnerable when they fight. if i had a verbally/emotionally abusive snob of a stepmom and a dishonest and manipulative father like her I would probably be the same way. I’m not for that whole “forcing someone to love you” BS, but I lowkey understand where she is coming from in her actions
I’m usually here for the unhinged characters, but this is too much for me. you can’t really trust anyone! maybe this is why I don’t watch many Lakorns.
I will do my best to accept that it’s just baked into the show and adjust my expectations moving forward 😮💨
lol, just once, I would like to experience a sweet moment between Sasin and Saenkaew without it being interrupted by someone spying from 3 miles away or some random barging in every 3 seconds … 😮💨
When does it get interesting? Because I just finished episode 3 and I'm really contemplating on dropping it. For…
but “interesting” to us might not be interesting to you…if we say it’s a phenomenal series, will you continue watching it? you mentioned that it was already boring & not your taste. maybe you should drop it.
a lot of people LOVE it and a lot of people found it difficult to follow.
IMO, There aren’t many BL’s (if any) that have come close to the production value, creativity, acting ability and professionalism captured in this series.
I have many critiques about “Shine”, but would never say it was boring! but those are just my thoughts 💭
As a middle aged librarian I am offended by this comment! Lol There are a lot of stereotypes about librarians…
I don’t mean to offend, 😉! for every generalization there are always exceptions — my aunt is a librarian that shares your same eclectic & unique sense of fashion. unfortunately, she’s surrounded by all the other frumpy dressers, lol

but trust, I totally understand the frustration!

the dad used it to forge her & krailerts marriage and then she used it to “seal the deal” (trap him forever)
😪
