NGL, I normally despise a wig design like the MLās, but wowza he looks fantastic. I am really here to watch him. lol. Nothing new story wise where a little communication could have prevented so much pain. Thatās the story tho š¤·āāļø
I am not going to lie, I could watch LJW in anything and this is proof. After quite a few dark roles it sure is wonderful to see cute, adorable, flirty, LJW even when the material is not much to work with. I took it slow so I could have daily dose of that adorable smile and he did not disappoint. the rest? meh
I found this show to be riveting from start to end. Fascinating, deeply flawed characters and entanglements of love and hate. The main leads were fantastic with Kim Young Dae really nailing the performance. The production was so well done from cinematography, costumes, and set design. The ending, while not a resolution, leaves plenty of lingering feelings that for me makes it more memorable. Iām still thinking about it days later.
Iām glad I gave this drama a try despite the reviews here. I did not have any problem with FL voice or anything else. I like LHY but after a few of his dramas I donāt see much range of expressions or mannerisms. He is fine here but a few times I really wanted him to stop looking down. š¤·āāļøSecond couple were very cute with a progression from enemies to lovers. In the last episode they donāt serve much purpose other than to show how they ended up. The costumes were well done with only a few too many dangly hair ornaments.
For those who say the girl looks old, the female lead actually fits her role. Ding Yu Xi, who looks childish,…
I am in agreement. ML is less mature, in many ways to FL, but heās loyal and reliable. This is repeatedly shown as compared to the more mature 2ml who discards her for his own ambition.
the drama.
