I really enjoyed this drama. It was short, lighthearted and funny. It’s the type of show to watch after watching…
The first thing I didn’t care for is the fact that she told her friend the chef that they could go back to been close friends when she didn’t have feelings for him anymore. What????? That didn’t sit well with me (and I found so unrealistic that he would shut down he’s very well established restaurant to travel). The second thing I didn’t like but it happens in 90% of Korean dramas, it’s the been apart for 1 to 2 years. Writers truly need to stop with that. It’s dumb and doesn’t add anything to the story. I find it freaking annoying.
I really enjoyed this drama. It was short, lighthearted and funny. It’s the type of show to watch after watching a sad one. However, I found the last episode to be underwhelming. I expected more and it was just blah. There were 2 specific things I didn’t care for on the last episode.
This author's novels (and adaptions) are all about slow buildup of romance then steadyness after they get together.…
You are so right but I did love Boss & me (gave it an 8/10). I don’t mind if the romance is slow but it most have a good story overall. There’s no story in this drama, none. I find it extremely boring. I have dropped it for now. Same thing with Love scenery. Even though it has a better plot than YMG I found it boring and dropped it. I’ll get back to them later maybe.
I’m on episode 4 and had to stop to write this. I seriously want to know what goes through some writers minds when they write scripts for dramas. Like seriously, that earring scene is so ridiculous. He went to give her the earring. She takes 3 hours to turn around, when she does he turns to look at her friend because he said “that’s my friends earring” and instead of giving it to her, he gives it to the man and walks away. The ML and the FL don’t look at each other (even though she’s his crush he doesn’t even attempt it and even though she thought his voice was familiar). It doesn’t happen in real life, they need to stop writing ridiculous stuff just to make a plot “more interesting “ is not interesting, it makes it dumb.
Hello, so i found out about YAMG ages ago and i just finished watching it for the 3rd time i cant get enough of…
I’ll suggest a few but some are not super similar but were really good in my opinion. Go go squid (not the best but it has gaming), My unicorn girl, A love so beautiful, You are my hero, Wait my youth, My little happiness, my fated boy, Le Coup de foudre (its supposedly based on the true story of the author of the book or something like that, but it was so good).
I gave this drama a chance because I like the actor, because of the ratings and the great reviews. I’m on episode 12 already and I find it extremely boring and dragging. Does this get better or is the whole drama the same? I’ve watched a lot of great Chinese dramas and this one doesn’t seem like a great one as the reviews say. Even if it gets better later, it shouldn’t take a drama this many episodes to get interesting.
I loved this drama. It was fluffy, heartwarming , hilarious and entertaining. It had its flaws but the good surpassed the flaws. I loved almost every character, even the annoying girl. Loved The friendships, their parents. The text hi mom sent was so awesome. The dog statue was so funny. The ML’s unwavering love for her was so amazing, his commitment to his love even before she loved him, his faithfulness to her. I loved the ending, loved their stories when they were little introduced in every episode etc. unfortunately, though, Even though the main leads are great actors I couldn’t see them as a couple. The actor looks like he’s 18 not 24 (he only looked his age at the last episode) and the actress looks older than 31. If they would’ve casted an actor that looked 24, it would’ve been believable. The other thing I didn’t like (and it might be cultural) it’s that they made a huge deal about the 7 year age gap as if it was a 20 year gap. It got old quickly. 31 it’s extremely young and this people behaved as if she was 50. To me, it was ridiculous. The FL saying she was almost 40 was also a bummer, girl you’re closer to 24 than to 40, get a grip. The 24 year old calling a man in his 30’s uncle was also ridiculous (but again it might be cultural) in my culture people in their 30’s are still very young. I also highly disliked how they dressed the little kid at the end. There was no need for that. All in all, these small flaws (in my opinion) were not big enough to ruin an amazing drama. I give it a 9/10
This drama was heartwarming. I loved all the characters. The sml was so nice and I loved how he and the ML became friends. The only thing I didn’t like too much, is the fact that the ml and fl hated each other and then liked each other and started dating without any transition. To me it felt like they hated each other one day and the next were in love. I didn’t believe in their love. That’s the reason why I was more interested in the other couples. Loved how the community fought for each other, and protected each other etc
Episodes 1-9 were good, entertaining, gory, at times heartbreaking at times heartwarming but the last three episodes were soooo ridiculous and bad, they ruined the whole series for me. I’m so mad right now I can’t even write the detailed review I intended. What a waste of time.
