I understand now. I loved PMR. The plot, writing its way better than this one. Sometimes people “love” a drama because of the famous actors in it and not the writing. I love all the actors, I’ve seen them in other stuff, but the writing was lazy (in PMR). I do agree 100% Sung Hoon’s acting is pretty bad 🤣🤣🤣 he’s so handsome though that I let it slide.
It was her punishment in the source material . She believes that only the wealthy should interact with the wealthy…
I think it’s a stereotype not only used in kdramas but in the western world too. It might be because Africa is the poorest continent (with the most amount of poor countries) in the world and that’s mostly what’s portrayed on TV instead of the beauty, the people, the history etc.
I was ready to love this show (love Park Min Young’s other works and the ML is very handsome) unfortunately…
The whole storyline where the FL for more than half of the drama couldn’t break up with her ex because she needed to make sure that her ex friend married, otherwise she would have to marry him, per her “fate” (her own words at one point) had me soooo irritated in how dumb it was. You can’t control when you’ll die (fate wise) but you can 100% control decide who you’ll marry. Also, at the end when her ex it’s in the office and he chokes her almost killing her, this woman stood there doing nothing waiting to die. At that point I truly wanted the writer to kill off her character 🤣🤣. End of rant.
I was ready to love this show (love Park Min Young’s other works and the ML is very handsome) unfortunately that was not the case. I think my opinion might’ve been different I haven’t watch “Perfect marriage revenge” first (loved that drama. The FL was relentless in her revenge and never waivered). In this drama (marry my husband) I couldn’t stand the FL character most of the time. I found her weak and only at some points she got tough. The ML was Always dress as an old man and behaved as one. Found him boring almost until the end. I do think she needed a man like that, that gave her peace and loved her unconditionally. The amount of dumb, incomprehensible stuff that happened here kept me rolling my eyes. Yura was the most irrelevant character in the history of Kdramas and was evil for NO reason. That story line was so convoluted and dumb that I couldn’t even get myself to hate Yura. I dislike lazy writing. The ending was cute but I would’ve like to see some couples and their stories. All in all it was entertaining but not my favorite as revenge stories go. My irritation with the FL (during the whole drama) was too much for me to enjoy it completely. My favorite character throughout was the young “assistant “ in the office, she was hilarious and cute.
