You practically wrote the post I have been pondering. I appreciate that the writer incorporated potentially real responses to trauma and ptsd. His first source of "love" (bc of abuse), was loaded with perfectionism and conditions... even though her free-spirited love brings some healing, he leaves her - causing a flaw, imperfection. It makes sense to me that he would want to come back and please or save the day with a high-level of skill. It also makes sense to me that after going so much trauma, she would not know how to respond. He hid his flawed family from her.

They are putting their romance on hold so she can catch-up as a fellow director. She is asking him to give her the space to learn, prove herself, and stand up as a leader.

Maybe I recognized him from Her Private Life as I have watching it multiple times.

Can anyone tell me who the actor is in episode 12 who owns the custom jewelry shop? He is not listed as cast and I am very curious.
