I read a summary of the alternative ending---and that honestly makes way more sense. Since they are a strategic couple, faking Pei's death shouldn't be too hard.
Does anyone know where to find the video of the alternative ending? It's on TikTok, but I can't access it.
This deserves full stars for the acting and cinematography alone. The plot is outstandingly written, and the actors deliver it so well. And don't get me started with the script!
The leads have out-of-this-world insane chemistry.
Ngl, I'm really annoyed by these beauty standards. Her hair is really cute and fluffy. People literally try to puff their hair up on purpose to make it look fuller and softer. Smh 🙄
Even so, the FL in the movie was 17, pushing towards 18.
I understand that in your area, a 17-year-old is still considered a minor. However, in my country, the age of consent is 14, and while I wouldn't say relationships involving that age are accepted, they are not entirely demonized either.

I'm not promoting this behavior in the least, just wanted to clarify that luckily the FL is almost a legal adult (and by the end of the movie she is 18), not to mention the age of consent in Japan is 16. Again, by no means am I prompting these affections
Japan's age of consent changed to 16 in 2023. It had been 13 until then🌚
I agree, although the concept of 'minors' varies significantly between countries and cultures In the United States, a person is considered a minor until the age of 21, which I believe is the highest age limit in the world. In Japan, the age of consent used to be 13 but has since been raised to 16. Another example is Italy, where the age of consent is 14 😵😐
Some people just have a hard time wrapping their heads around the fact that these scenarios can indeed occur in life (forced/arranged marriage), and that the age of consent varies throughout countries. I'm not encouraging this behavior, but it does happen more often than we think.
I can see past the age gap, but the plot was too icky. Bro was older and legal age but he is not getting any action…
I found her character's immaturity to be somewhat exaggerated, which made me uncomfortable, especially considering the plot. This movie hasn't exactly aged well, but it was still a sweet and enjoyable watch.
I found this story to be really cute! I expected it to be much more controversial than it actually was. Overall,…
Honestly, I feel like they could have picked a better actress for the female lead. I'm not sure how old Moon Geun Young was when this was filmed, but she looks very young--almost too immature-looking for a 16-year-old these days. I feel like that just fuels more controversy. But that's just me 🤷♀️

It's difficult to wrap your head around the fact that a sixteen-year-old girl married a man who is in university (23 yo). However, this situation isn’t as uncommon as one might think, especially in a tradition-driven Asian country like Korea. It's important to note that they got married because it was their grandfather's dying wish, not because there was a romantic attraction between them.
Um, I'm kind of worried about episode 12. A lot seems to be going on, how are they gonna wrap that all up? Episode…
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the ending is a little rushed, but judging by the last part of episode 11, when they show snippets of the upcoming episode, it didn't seem too bad.
Every once in a while, I come across something really weird and unexplainable from Japan. I can't quite find the words to describe this movie. It feels like a strange fever dream that keeps getting stranger, yet there's something so intriguing about it. It has me quite perplexed.
