This didnāt work for me. Iād say it needed a better plot but Iām not even sure it has a plot in its current state. Unfortunate as the leads seem have chemistry.
Finishing this series felt like a chore. It didnāt help that I felt more annoyed by the Korn character than I did sympathetic. Maybe Iāll feel differently after watching The Next Chapter.
22 days later and the Type character has grown on me. Thereās something endearing about the actorās portrayal of him that makes the character too soft for me to hate.
I don't know how will this story progress, but I like how this drama is talking about topic that isn't talked…
This! Sexual compatibility is vital to the longevity of a relationships. As you said, there are those who have it and there are those who donāt. The latter has two subsets that vary in their respective complexities being explored in series:
1. those who donāt have it and never did - aka Nakarai, who willingly resigned themselves to a sexless fate for reasons unbeknownst to us at this time
2. those who had it but ālostā for āreason(s)ā known to the other or not, meaningful or unjust, circumstantial or life altering/health, etc. - aka Kazuaki, who, according to him, was having lots of sex with his girlfriend before the year-long drought. He seemingly implied their sex life slowed down after moving in together. Seeing as he still wants to sleep with her so the stalemate is notably one sided. Itās entirely possible she became indifferent to him.
Realistically there are a lot of ways things could go. We have yet to learn of her reasons (if any) which may very well be plausible or completely selfish. Itās clear sheās withholding not just sex but intimacy too which is undoubtedly cold, but the picture hasnāt fully developed yet for any of whys to clear. At the same time, I canāt blame him at all for where things are leading though.
Frankly, Iāve become much more sympathetic to men in recent years as it relates to situations like this after having learned some things first hand about close women in my personal life (friends, immediate family even) conning their boyfriends into apartments, engagements, buying a house and the final level: marriage using sex as leverage. Saddest part was how proud one was in their self brag about cutting their husband off from sex like it was some ultimate power play. Hopefully my brother-in-law and the other men I know in similar conjob relationships are getting some on the side.
It hasnāt happened *yet* but the stage has been setting itself up for it and with 5 eps left itās merely a…
Yeah, the anger is a little baffling. Perhaps Iād feel differently if the underlying issue(s) with their partners was something other than what weāve so far seen depicted, but it is what it so Iām unbothered by the cheating⦠potentially rooting for it even š¤ lol
is there a tunefind equivalent for dramas b/c I need to know all of the songs ā for this series especially ā but am unfortunately an English-only American and since the lyrics are almost never subtitled the guesswork is pretty much impossible š
Everything about this series feels awkward and not in a cute way. I binge watched all 5 available episodes TWICE and still canāt deduce what the plot actually is or bring myself to care about any of these characters.
