among death (by suicide) themed dramas ive watched, this has the best concept so far followed by Tomorrow. suicide themes are really hard to pull off, but what they did here is thoughtful and sensitive scriptwriting with an anawesome casting. and not bad direction too. all hell's breaking loose coz each episode is on 🔥.

this is very very interesting. i have to agree to some of the narration of song kang here. it is quite scary to be reminded of our weaknesses in this drama. humans do need a savior because of our nature but if it's in the form like Song Kang here, it'll be hard to resist and people wont think twice. that's the kind of world we have right here. and it's sooo true in every sense. that's why im already quite content w/my Savior. i will be watching this till the end.

i'll be very hurt if zhang ling he and bai lu not win any acting awards after this drama. subscription is so worth it if this is the kind of dramas ott platforms churn out annually. good story + stellar cast and acting + good production is already a recipe for success; eventhough it isnt that perfect, yk. i hope this will be ZLH's big year, and may he ride this career momentum smoothly and amazingly. bai lu, no q's, is always at her best in her dramas. she just shines every time. and i love her so much in this drama. i really hope to see a season 2 of this.

hahahahaa first kiss scene (not flashbacks and a very conservative one so to speak) on episode 30. why this is so much better than sex scenes on 1st episodes of some western dramas. 😆

this is the LBFAD pairing that i wished, but never had. (yes i know, dong fang qin cang is still the man) and now they're back! the story is way too good for this rating. i just have a problem with the lines being whispered all the time tho. why do they have to keep whispering?? like it's too much. 😁😆 esp. FL and FL2. anyway, you feel the same, you'll get used to it by the 12th episode. 😁 like me. overall, cant wait to finish this and watch iqiyi scream night!!!

ep27 is the first time i watched a flashback (zhang zhe) w/o that blinding light.😆 and something was off in these 2 episodes, like it was entirely made by another person. the vibes are so different.
