FL & Li Boze went to the big brother tombstone. Then ML showed up at his big bruh tombstone. The other 2 were hiding in the bush whilst ML was having a chat with his brother then overheard a noise & asked who were there. ML got triggered seeing the 2 of them together & bear in mind the Li Boze & FL came separately. ML told Li that why do you bring her here. Li told ML that she is family after all. ML then asked your family or mine, why don’t you bring Le An here & tell the big brother in front of his tombstone that le an is Li’s son? FL, being mean (unnecessarily)told him that ML is right that it is is about time that le a gets to know his late uncle. She then said to the ML that it is none of his business with whom she decides to be with or whom she can have a child with. I don’t blame Li here nor both ML & FL as they are equally triggered. ML got upset & left. Li Boze then told FL that through his investigation the boy she saved years ago was allegedly ML. She then said that her parents got killed because of ML so she prefers to raise Le An alone. Li told her that ML has just managed to get a bit better so she needs to stop dragging ML down the abyss as it will impact Le An & isn’t good for the boy. I think at this point it is best they can Co-parent the boy instead of hurting each other. FL said to li that ML brings bad things to her from the start sinc3 he was the cause of death of her parents.

ML needs to keep calm & less triggered by her antics ( using Li Boze to make him jealous seriously). He needs to move on for his own good really. The only reasonable thing that Li Boze said at the end to the FL is to stop dragging the ML down to the abyss but it takes two to tango.

Agreed. My former Japanese boss used to boast about how proud he was of his grandfather, a former war criminal in China as he was an officer (colonel)in the imperial army during WWII in Shanghai. He had no shame in boasting about it & I used to tell him about their war crimes and he really hated me Lol. Some colleagues even told me that China copied their culture, their calligraphy say what? The hatred against Chinese people among my former colleagues was real. I used to travel to japan, Tokyo a lot as my partner worked there. It’s a a beautiful country, great food but their denial of war crimes against China, Korea & SE Asians is real.

I grew up in Europe but used to live in HK & Chinese people are very curious about learning about the west. They do learn history about wwii & do know about the former Soviet Union/russia that sacrificed the most of their people (25-30 millions are reportedly died during the war) & did the heavy lifting yes, they do know that given that Russia is their neighbour. Now, having worked for a Japanese company my former Japanese colleagues told me that they did not learn about their dark history which is a real shame.

I would recommend Battle of Changsha, a very heart-wrenching family saga showing the devastating impact of the Second Sino-Japanese War on an ordinary family. Or War of faith with Li Qin & Wang Yibo. Silent Tides is also good.

Japan invaded the northeast China ( Manchuria)in Sep 1931 & tried to invade the rest of China in July 1937. Japan also invaded most parts of SE Asia including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, PH, Burma, Thailand between 1940-42 to steal their raw materials, natural resources for their war against China given that the US was blocking them with trade war. Many westerners may not know but Japan killed millions of Chinese, Koreans, Viets, Thais, Filipinos, Malaysians, Indonesians, burmese to name a few. This is a historical fact & I am not trying to be political here. Please do your own research and you will find out.

Hiding the truth about the cute little boy existence to the ML, his father is bad & equally bad to her own son regardless of the ML’s background. I’m not here to defend the ML & FL may have her reasons for doing so but she prevents the boy to have any relationship with his own father & who knows ML may be a good father. Children are usually being used as a bargain chip in these situations. Sad really. Let’s see if ML will really get married in episode 26.
