Please do, no jokes though. Someone in the comment section was questioning about the scene where he called for a doctor when his brother got killed & he is a doctor himself. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he may freeze because it happens to his own brother, hence the inaction. I watched this episode & my reaction was like hmm. Coming from a family of surgeons & doctors, I witnessed their rapid actions & decisions when family members got badly sick so I am just wondering why did he not come to his brother’s rescue ( I.e stopping the bleeding, call an ambulance), that’s my question to the scrip writing. Believe me, I’ve been in situations with family members that tried to kill themselves & had to be with them in emergencies rooms. That’s not to berate the show.

I’ve only watched up to ep 3 then jumped to episode 23 so I can’t really comment but I think the ML either had a mental breakdown moment where he just froze in front of his brother’s death which is possible or the hole in the scripts writers that may have forgotten that viewers may be questioning his inaction facing the event given that ML is a surgeon? I just can’t stand the one side love script and am just wondering why it happens quite a lot in c dramas lately just like in Blossom of power or Love for You?

My brother is surgeon & understand that surgeons or doctors are trained for these situations. In their entry exams to meds school, he was graded on his capacity to make quick decisions in these types of situations. ML may have his brains frozen due to the fact that i5 happened to his own brother which may happen?

Quick question: in episode 35, in his last moment with SXH, Prince Xin asked her if she was his late wife GU. She then told him that the day she met him was raining like today. Was SXH admitting that she was GU or was it gu’s memory that responded to Prince Xin to grant him some happiness & clarify as to why she may be GU?

Same, I really wished they explained it but episode 33 kind of made me think that he planned it with his friend & doctor Xie when Xie told SXH that he didn’t want to takeover his father’s title & become an official in the capital & that he preferred to go back to the mountains & work on médecines in order to cure & care for people. Then he looked back at the mourning room for the CP & sighed. I kind of suspected there that the CP may be still alive. With all that, Shu Lin & Cu Jibai have twins boys, so sweet.

The empress dowager wanted to avenge the death of her own son Prince Qian, CP & older brother of the current emperor. She thought that he killed her own son but in reality it was a pact between the 2 brothers to defend the city. The current back then didn’t open the city’s gate if he hears 2 gunshots in the sky which was what happened back then. By not opening the city’s gates led to the death of then CP, Prince Qian. His wife gave birth to XHY bu5 also died during birth. The younger brother, aka current emperor took the opportunity to ascend the throne by lying to the ED that XYH was his own son otherwise the ED would have named her own son prince Qian, emperor regardless of his death. The ED, took revenge by poisoning XHY without knowing that he was her own blood grandson. The ED also used the GU girl to poison Prince Ding, open the palace gate for the 4th Prince to storm in the palace to kill his father, the emperor. He was the one who sent the GU girl to flirt with Prince Xin, then kill SXH & her unborn baby but SXH was smart & threw the lock full of poisonous encens back to the GU girl.

The empress dowager never forgave the emperor, her adoptive so for having killed her own son, the previous CP ( Prince Qian) & older brother of the emperor. I need to rewatched that part, I understand it was a misunderstanding when the 2 brothers wen5 to war in the north & decided that the older brother, Prince Qian would fight against the enemy & the younger would defend the city by not opening th3 city’s gates should he hear the 2 gunshots in the sky. This was what happened & by not opening the city gate, the CP Prince Qian died. The empress dowager decided to take revenge on the emperor by poisoning XHY ( she didn’t know that he was her flesh & blood grandson), she was the one who instigated the rivalries. between the emperor’s sons. Prince Ding was poisoned by that GU girl under her order. She was the one that opened the gate for the fourth Prince & his arm6y to barge in the palace to kill the emperor. The GU girl was promised of becoming* a big shot ( I need to watch closely) by killing SXH & her son. The ED still did not know that SXH’s baby is her great grandchild by blood.

He was all right when he was not obsessive about SXH. The guy was like, he will own her & decide for her, emprison her in her own palace. He forced SXH to marry him, threatened her to kill all of her helpers, women that support her if she did not handover the emperor’s edict to name her son the heir of the throne & her as the empress dowager. He treats SXH as if she was her toy, that’s not love. In addition, he told SXH that he would not let her son, a baby become the emperor. Well, technically he is not born yet but he is pure royal blood which Prince Xin is not given that his father, current emperor is only the adopted son of the old empress dowager. He ascended the throne because he used XYH as his son otherwise empress dowager would have named her late son the emperor at posthume title & her ascended the throne.

I was so happy that biatch was gone. She is so evil. Someone said that she was gone after Prince Ding was poisoned by her & severed her ties with him. I told that person that she would come back & sure she did.

I don’t think that SXH knows. I think that he planned it with his friend the doctor XIe to retreat to the mountains & work on the cure. I think he didn’t know whether the cure would work so he didn’t say anything to SXH just in case things didn’t work out then it wouldn’t make SXH devastated the second time.

It’s a HE. CP went away with his doctor Xie, friend to seek for a cure. He came back at the end of Ep 36 & they both hugged each other. The chemistry between the leads is amazing at that scene.
