Does anyone know whether her father's profile may be referred to Yang Yanzhao, a general of the Yang family? Pan’er and Qianfan get back together. Zhang Hao2 may help Yinzhang from the sexual aggression and she gets back to Chi Pan? Sanning will get together with Du Chafeng and her son. Yinzhang will pursue her own career and will make a name for herself. Chen Lain will be with Ge Zhaodi. Any thoughts?

I have found the couple’s conversation after he told Pan’er about his good news with regards to his promotion/ transfer of title to his mother very deep and touching. It conveys a very deep understanding, support and love for each other.

She is no longer a child and she needs to experience things herself even if they are hurting her and about to get worse so that she realises what works best for her. Though she has developed some feelings for Qianfan but I do feel sorry for her for not finding out herself until she bumped into the scene where Qianfan & Pan’er hugged each other. I understand that she blames the sisters for keeping her in the dark but she also needs to grow out of the blame game and get over it. I hope she gets better in future episodes.

I have my reservations on the guy. There is something about him that I cannot put my finger on. I understand that Yinzhang will move in with him without telling the sisters know in ep26. There was a scene where he introduces Yinzhang to some old dirty man that touches her pipa and Yinzhang trying to move away from the dirty old man. I hope that he will not hurt Yinzhang. I feel bad for her.

Pan’er may be thinking that Yinzhang is like her little sister and she completely trusts her. I’m sure Qianfan has noticed Yinzhang’s change of behaviour when he is around. There was a scene where Yinzhang saw Pan’er and Qianfan hugged each other and I was wondering whether it would be the root cause of Yinzhang running away with Shen Ruzhuo without letting the sisters know in ep26?

Hey, hope you are well. I personally prefer the relationship between GU Qianfan & Pan’er to the one between Xiao Beicheng & Hanjing though I love the novel. This drama is refreshing for me as they have a mature relationship, proper discussion between the couple, a hidden understanding of each other and always look out for each other. It is just my opinion and accept any disagreement from others.

Whilst I would have loved that the engagement that Qianfan’s grandfather had arranged for him would have been her but your thoughts are correct. He mentioned in ep19 that the girl family had cancelled the engagement when he had joined the capital security office. Pan’er was only released from the performing dancer position at the age of 16. Her mum already died before she was made to join the performing dance company and I assume that her dad had passed away as well so her family wouldn’t have been able to cancel the engagement.

From ep1, you could see that he has found her special. He starts falling for her in ep5. The relationship has not started from

Am I right in thinking that this drama occurred during the Song Zhenzhong ( the emperor) period and the empress is Empress Liu? I understand that princess Liu was infertile and that the prince was from
Concubine Li? There was a theory among some Chinese fans that princess Li was actually Gu Shuniang ( Qianfan’s mother) and that she was pregnant of twins and the first child was taken away by empress Liu.
The second child was Qianfan who was born after whilst the first baby was taken away without the emperor having knowledge of the second baby. With the help of an ennuch at the court, concubine Li ran away with the baby.
