Yeah they died in real with his mother. Qi Min himself was burnt a lot, so he was unrecognizable, later had skin grafting procedures.

It becomes tense, with a lot of things happening, war, politics, deaths, character growth. The love the leads build in the village helps them later to stay strong, to fight to deal with stuff. So enjoy it while you can. Though we are excited about the current things, today especially a great day, with a very interesting episode, but we still miss the old peaceful days. Qi Min is the son of the crown prince Chengde who died 17 years back. He was presumed dead in the fire of Eastern Palace. He survived it and was swapped with the elder son of Prince Changxin. Hence he pretends to support the Suis, hence in enemy camp but he has his own goals. Suis or other people don't know about this.
