Yeah I believe its a HE too, same as the novel. But I just don't want that after their separation in ep 30-31, the next sweet moments would be in the last 5 minutes of ep 38. I mean both of them should fight together. In moonlit reunion, after so much angst there was only 2 minutes of happiness in the last episode, I mean though its a HE, it feels so much is robbed off. So I really hope they don't take that route.
"did you kill him?" this was a repetitive question asked by the ML, the prosecutor and apparently also…
You are correct. I felt that too. Its more like, how to say, the ML once told the FL that you need to believe in your clients first, only then you can defend them properly. So I think he wanted to believe that the doctor did not kill that rapist. But because he is a human, he had second thoughts as he knew she did not want to treat him earlier. As a lawyer, he would defend his client, but he also had his doubts, just like any of us.
Its actually strange we got so many episodes of happiness without any angst in comparison to other dramas. I am just glad there are not many episodes remaining, so the angst cannot be that long because they do need to start wrapping it up as well.
Preview for ep 30 shows that Jin'an already got his memories back and yet he's still with Shuang. He's trying…
His tone changed in episode 28. When he tells the FL till now it felt like a bizarre dream, his tone was so different. Jin An was a cute baby, this cannot be his tone. I think when the Jade Linglong came out of his body, his memory comes back. He seems pretending and I think it continues even in ep 30 as shown in preview. Then I think either he would forget the FL or might pretend, when theory of getting jealous of himself comes through.
Honestly, after Kill Me Love Me, I can't watch him as a protagonist. He's that good as a grey character.
I did not watch that! I only saw him a month before in Deep Affection Eyes, he played such a cute green flag. That's why when they first showed him here, I thought he would be a good and wise king (Like the king in The Double), but then he began plotting and became obsessive. I mean, he is a good actor.
I’ve been holding off starting this drama because I just finished watching Law and the City not too long ago.…
Not at all similar. But definitely better. But also depends on a person's perspective. Law and the city was more about food and friendship, less about legal cases. Beyond the Bar is all about legal cases. Every episode, deals with one case, and how the lawyers solve it in different ways. Friendships are not a major part here, but there is mutual support for each other. Its more about how a rookie lawyer learns how to be a good lawyer from her senior and also a little office politics.
