Anyone who read the novel, does it have a happy ending?

Probably I had said it earlier, but while rewatching it again, I felt the sudden urge to repeat it- The princess deserved what she got. I generally like complex personalities, I sometimes even take the heart to understand the perception of villains. But this woman. She could have died and I wouldn't have batted an eye.
My only negative point for the drama was she and the love triangle she had with the brothers.

I also loved the fact that he took the bag so she will walk with him. Then when she asked where they were going, he taunted her what do I know, I am too emotional!! Then FL saying now you're holding grudges. The entire sequence was so funny! Love them.

The preview of ep 7-8 released today is so cute, I just live for these heart-warming moments.
Also in the end of ep 6, when the preview was shown, about the whole Thailand trip, my first thought was do they have passports, I mean ML can have he was a rich kid, but the FL. But then I was like its just a drama, they don't have to show that. But in today's preview they even showed the picture clicking moment, receiving visa passport, also added a cute romantic scene, making it so much better. The level of detailing is great. Also I would consider getting a passport and going to Thailand a win (for those who were crying that they don't have wins, you need to have patience, small wins lead to a big one, if you expect them to have all the success in 6 episodes, what are they going to do in other 10 episodes, play chaebol-chaebol).
I think this might be my favourite drama of 2025.

Though I don't know the promotions of exactly which brands offend you, but because this drama is based in 1997-1998, all the issues are of that time period. I have not seen a single brand promotion in this drama ( at least till ep 6 ) because it wouldn't resonate with those times. So I guess you can give it a watch.

If she was apathetic, she wouldn't have welcomed ML and his mom to her house, she wouldn't have given the money meant for her, back to ML to save the company, she wouldn't work there for free, and I can go on and on. She is practical. If ML would have risked his eyes for his mother, or best friend or for someone he knows, I don't think she would have reacted like this. The shoemaker was an absolute stranger, who had almost scammed them, for sure he had his reasons, but still he took their money and paid to loan sharks. Their main agenda is to make the company work, saving strangers shouldn't be their business. ML is reckless but he is really kind, but kindness alone cannot run a business, business needs practicality, profits.
Also FL cares for ML now, she doesn't want to see him hurt, I think she was angry because she was being protective. FL has a family to feed, still trusts ML and believes in the company. ML did not think of the repercussions of his decision, what if he actually lost his eyeballs? What would happen to the company, to his mom? According to my perspective, she is absolutely right in berating the ML for it.
Just think if FL did the same trade, ML would berate her too.

At the end of the day its a drama. Also for me, I prefer one villain throughout, different people as villains, is something I wouldn't so prefer. But yeah I get it.

He might not confess that to her, maybe to himself. We don't know that. Also because this isn't a pure romance drama, I don't think breakup is something going to happen. Problems will be business related ig.

There is only them as villains here, Pyo and his son. This all about business. So its all about taking each other down. I don't think there would be others.

Honestly, every week this drama just gives me a warm hug! I love it more and more with each passing episode.
The drama is extremely well written and directed as well. The fights between them makes so much sense, how each is right from their positions. Also the fact that they don't stretch their fights. She gets angry, he follows, apologizes, promises to not make her angry and then repeat the whole circle.
Also the way he was upset but he took her bag, explained to her calmy, never raised his voice at her, but did taunt her about what she said to him. I mean that made their whole fight so funny!
Also after seeing the preview, I can't wait for the next episode. Also I did not really want Ma Jin to be back but he would be. He always treats FL unequally, and he is back at it again. I mean the nerve of him to say FL shouldn't be a trader, huhh, ajhussi you left your position, FL stayed and did everything she could.
Also so happy about the scene where ML broke the glass window of Pyo's son and threatened him. I get so angry seeing him.
Okay, end of my rant!

Yes. I don't consider it slow. The main focus is business, their love is around it.

Whenever the episode gets half over, I began praying that everything needs to be well, because something always goes wrong. But yes that's what it is about. We have more 10 episodes. To build a business almost from scratch is not a matter of joke. Love how they are showcasing their struggles. All of the actors are so good, their emotions are so perfect.

Are we getting a confession in ep 7 (based on the preview) in a so called non-romantic drama? I mean!! I always thought since ep 1 that they are much more swifter than romantic dramas! Don't jinx it don't jinx it!!! Can't wait.

There are few videos of these two cuties from today's episodes circulated over social media. These two give such a married couple vibes. I mean at this point where is boss-employee, or friendship kind of relation. They are married, they just don't know.

The ML told the guy so many times that if he stops him, ML would kill him. My gut feeling says the writer would make that true. Maybe they are waiting to do this after something explosive is done by the son-father.
