I didn't see the trailer. Just read the synopis here on MDL , saw mystery, fantasy,bromance so was expecting stg like for exp A league of Noblemen 😅 Oh well plenty of fish in the sea for everybody's tastes

Just saw ep 2 too , did not catch my attention. It looks like it might improve later on but not my style. Found also boring the 2 eps. Despite the slapstick, editing , cgi also the story start lacks. Will dropp it 😏
I am reffering to the scene where Lin dies. According with Lin's character she would not frame an innocent. She was willing to lie her lover and suffer just to have her family together. She also was decided to end things with all people she was involved if that was the right thing to do ( the teenager , Tung grilfriend etc). The fact that she asked Tung to be blamed is innconsistend with her chatacter as I see it . Also a dying person not to ask for help not to wish to live but ask to be strangled I hard it belive realistic. The lover was not capable to give the posioned bottle but was capable to kill her with her hands? I doubt it. So for me this whole scene was inconssistent with what happen earlier. The fake murder scenes were more plausible to me. Except this I quite enjoyed it.
I actually loved that. The title plus the play in the play and the leads ending were my fav parts. I just finished and actually thinking how to rate it. The actual murder scene of Lin buggs me because it was so not realistic compared with the rest of the drama realism 🤡
Just finished it too and have more or less same thoughts. But will rate it 7 because I got bored. For an 8 episode series with this kind of plot I would have expected no second of boredom & at least one unexpected twist. But I got nothing :(
Completed it . Unfortunatelly this drama failed to bring stg new to the genre and story. I did loved the main leads acting but that was pretty much all. If you seen A bloody lucky day, Vigilante and A shop for killers ( all recent dramas) you will get to same conclusion as me. If you had not seen them you might enjoy this one better because otherwise the story is all predictable and boring to the end watcher.

The movie, even predictable, was very well made & with a powerful message !
