I love this series. It definitely is for a more mature/adult audience who have experience in love when it comes to forced family relationships due to societal/cultural expectations/pressure. I do feel like the writers somewhat drag out the FL struggle to let go of her family's expectations, but it is the reality for many Korean women and a BIG plot point of the story. Do you go for the safe path even if it is loveless/dull/predictable or do you risk it all on the unknown path for real love? How many times has your Korean mother told you to go for 'security first' and that 'love can grow' later over time π And they wonder why so many people are unhappy in marriage (just look at the marriage of her older sister in this series!!! πππ). To amp up the drama in this, the ML has the added negative Korean societal stigma of being a single father. Just because he is there for his son, he has to be ignored and unloved for the rest of his life? Why does he deserve that? Should he just accept that? Everyone is telling them to not be together, but will....or should....they listen to that?
I read in a comment on Viki that Leo Luo and Bai Lu have been dating since 2024, is that true???? I hope it is…
Just rumours. Same as the same rumours for any couple in a series. People just crazy. I feel like it is insulting to their acting skills, as if they can't possibly be that good at acting; it must be because they love one another in real life ππ So dumb. I am sure they are good friends, but they have a love of their craft and the characters they portray. They become those characters for us to enjoy and love.
ok, I'm starting this time.... LSS teaches TTJ the Sketch Charm in order to teach him how to think good things,…
Maybe the point of the scenes was to show LSS bias (which was wrong)? Her own mis-judgement/bias at times is what got her to do some things wrong maybe.

The Devil Bone curses/distorts the things around him. Does that mean an Immortal Bone does the opposite? Does the Immortal Bone affect/amplify the good/positive in those around it?.....Like is LLS Immortal Bone and TTS Devil Bone like negating themselves when they are together? Do less bad things happen to TTS when he is physically next to her (near her Immortal Bone's influence)?
Or is the Immortal Bone just a passive artifact whereas the Devil Bone is an active artifact? Passive means you have to activate it during cultivation. The Devil Bone just actively does evil affects on its own, warping those around it; drowning them in their own negative thoughts? So the Immortal Bone isn't doing anything....only useful if cultivating?
and YBC still confuses me. Did she sincerely like XL? because her convo with XL after she woke up sure doesn't…
I mean....since we find out she is a demon later (going through tribulations due to DG trying to save her).....I expect that is why her personality is a little off. She most likely learning what love is just like TTJ (and also learning what it is to be human). I feel so many parallels between TTJ and YBC. Both of them have severe abandonment issues. YBC latched on to XL early on just as bad as TTJ did to LSS later. TTJ and YBC both believed that noone could love them even though they both desired to be loved/wanted so much. They both lash out in frustration differently, regarding it.

On my first watch that scene confused me because I thought she had said he couldn't activate the charm at all because he was the DG and thus didn't have an "immortal bone" (as if the "devil bone" prevents one from using 'good' magic). But now I realize that the immortal bone is just for becoming immortal (helps to cultivate) and has nothing to do with one's innate ability/heart.....
This censorship nonsense is just too much and feels so much like a spiteful power trip from mean insecure people. Like banning chocolate chip cookies from the world--> like even why is banning chocolate chip cookies even a thing?!?! It's just a chocolate chip cookie! Run for your lives!
The ending of this series is so sweet. I love it.
