All i have to say is that if youre a KinnPorshe, Onlyfriends type of person, this show is not for you. The end.…
I am currently watching this and so far it is cute, light and sweet. No toxic anything....so far. It is a great starting BL especially if you not ready or up for KinnPorshe level ADULT dark chaos. This is more light hearted BL in the innocent traditional sense. I came over from Lost in Translation since has similar plot description and was recommended from someone I respect/trust to totally be good. So far it is meeting my warm/cozy expectations....
I liked the twist in the last episode but this type of ending is one of my least favorite . . . 😐
ikr.... Like we still don't know anything about his past or why he became this way!?!? What kind of trauma did he experience in reality? Or are we supposed to surmise some of that experience in reality based upon the riddles/game in the main story? Like how?!?! I feel so unsatisfied!
I consider this light bromance. There are a few scenes where it gets stronger, but not enough overall for me. Plus the FL love interest for one of the ML is always in the way ;D
A little with him and FL. Not a lot of depth to it, but it is there for most of the series; him being overly protective of her and she clinging to him in the stereotypical helpless female trope (despite being a fighter herself and the daugher of a war lord).
Yeah, good. The FL is so beautiful😍 She carried this drama. She's so cute and innocent. I know the female audience…
I like the diversity of characters also. In reality, there are all sorts of personality types, and in fictional stories I can go in so many different directions and be fine so long as the story is fun. Plus this is FICTION.
This is just a complex animal due to historical/cultural expectations, not to mention that this is an international audience who probably live in a more progressive society (Japan is still more largely attached to its 'traditional' gender roles/views/expectations....but they are slowly changing too). It is complex because in Japan, courteous/respectful/quiet/submissive is seen as a good thing....even for men, not just women. I understand the hate this kind of female character can trigger since it speaks of oppressive male-dominated societies where women have been deemed second-class citizens historically like forever (expected and FORCED to be submissive; be cute/seen and not heard) and they are still fighting against it (unequal pay, not being able to vote, not being able to go anywhere without a male chaperone, expected to raise children at home alone as if that is their only desire/purpose in life). All we can do is understand that. Understand that for many, it is such a big wound/sore that it HURTS to see it in even their fiction; all we can do is warn them that this kind of drama is probably not for them. It is more difficult to keep an open mind (applied to other cultures) when something hits too close to home personally, causing a negative emotional response (like a gag reflex for bad smells).
LOL so if anyone is submissive in this drama it would be the ML. She’s just weak and keeps running away from…
Totally agree about the CEO part. There was a big disconnect between her personality and her profession: it didn't fit. Indecisive people will never be able to climb the ladder to CEO. Period.
Judging from the comments it seems like 90% of watchers are skipping the stepbrother part and enjoying the other…
Ep 5 Kinnporsche was complex. Porsche wanted to (he and Kinn had tension before this), but later with Kinn ignoring him and punishing him, he felt hurt/confused, which made him question if what he thought he/Kinn felt was real. It was understood later when Porsche found out more of Kinn's true feelings after the whole lost-in-the-woods part. A big gray zone area for sure. You are right....when something is borderline/unclear, it is best to avoid it to be safe. But us dumb primates are emotionally complex idiots.
Just finished it, loved it so much. The execution behind the moral of the story was kinda iffy though (how they…
Korea has a very high suicide rate, and I feel like a lot of their stories touch on it because of that. It is a cultural phenomenon where I think as a society they are trying to understand why and trying to figure out how to stop people from doing it. It is hard to see light when you stuck in a deep dark pit of depression. (I agree that throwing more guilt on top of depression is counter-productive and probably doesn't help at all).
Preference😭😭😭, people have so different taste,I was personally blushing the entire time
I feel you. I am a big personal space fan. But everyone is so different. It tells you a lot about the characters based on their preferences of personal space :D My partner and I are both same, so it would be so difficult for me to deal with a Yuan type in your bubble all the time; I would have pushed him away/smacked him so many times! :D
it started off interesting and complex with likeable characters but then got really reaaalllyyy convoluted in…
I feel like the romance part ruined it somewhat. It would have been enjoyable and much better if just all 3 of them were friends. Why they don't write independent women more in Chinese dramas is beyond me. Romance for the sake of romance is hollow and empty and boring.

Hand to the face! Classic! :D :D :D
