To get some kind of closure, it made me go back to Unintentional Love Story again to fast forward to just watch…
My impression...it is implied that they have begun to heal and to draw closer to one another. It is up to your interpretation of the last scene they are in together :) To me, one has FINALLY understood his feelings for his childhood friend, and the other has decided to stop running away. But it was done in such an open way that they could totally do a continuation story with just them for us to see the rest of that journey into being together solidly. Plus I want to see more of their chemistry ;)
I am getting hungry watching this. The Korean food looks so yum! So far love the mix of Japanese and Korean. Some nice cinematography. So cute so far......
Question for anyone who has watched this: Does this series have an actual conclusion of some kind or does it end on some crazy cliffhanger where we will never get a resolution on (since season 2 in C-dramas are rare birds....and even more rare with original cast continutiy). I only ask since I am nervous when I see a lot of requests in chat about wanted a season 2.
Like the ending for Douluo Continent would be a cliffhanger with not a satisfying ending. I don't want to get trapped by another long series and have this happen. I don't mind open endings like say Mysterious Lotus Casebook because at least it had a conclusion of the story. Get what I mean?
There's a season 2 but I can't find it?? 🤨🤨. Maybe because I tried just when it released but. Anyway. This…
The "season 1" on Amazon Prime video includes all 8 episodes (Death's game = 4 eps, and Death's Game part 2 = 4 eps). Yes, Prime should have labelled them season 1 and 2, but hey....they do what they want. At least all the episodes are there :)
That was a lot to go through to get nowhere. There's a point where the cluelessness becomes implausible. Dude…
Yes, they are the side couple in Unintentional Love Story, so it will fill in some gaps and a little closure.....but I am hoping for a continuation of ULS that gives us them as the mains so we can get even more (if you get to the end of ULS, you will understand what I mean).
I may be wrong but I think Ho Tae knows Dong Hee likes him. The point was HE wanted to hear it from Dong Hee.
It was also due to "Aunt" (Ho Tae's mom). Dong Hee appreciated and respected her since she knew the reason why his dad beat him periodically. He seemed to think being gay and falling for her son would have been disrespectful to her (society standards). This was explained in Unintentional Love Story. I'd love to see another season after ULS that follows the exploration of them dating and navigating family issues......
this is an easy and lovely watch huge points for how good their kisses were (no fish kissing)having just finished…

It felt like it just trailed off at the end. Totally agree with you. It never gave any more info regarding the father and what the 'incident' that caused the abuse (though most people can probably infer the reason). Not real closure on their feelings either. But if they (writers?) assume we know of this couple (side couple in Unintentional Love Story) then we already know their pending outcome, so maybe they felt it didn't need it....? I don't know....it left the ending a little empty to me....it was missing something. This series felt like a chaotic memory flashback that didn't fit all the jumbled pieces together; just left the pieces scattered across the table for us. I did appreciate the beautiful cinematography and the rest of the story. It felt like we were just missing a whole ep or two or something. Idk..... I still rate it as a great watch/story despite this.
was this supposed to be before Unintentional love story or are the two bls not related ?
It is a side story that covers a little of the past of the side couple in Unintentional love story. Neither is a pre-req for the other. You don't even have to watch both. Watch any in any order; doesn't matter.
I saw you watched History 4 (and may have liked it? Curious to hear your thoughts!) but not In Between yet. Was…
History 4 was way better than others were letting on. Other made it sound like it was so toxic, but it wasn't. I am not sure why some peoples' comments on it were so off from reality? It was like they never watched it.
Thanks for reminding me about In Between. At first I couldn't find it on my streaming platforms, but now I see it is on youtube, so I'll try that out to see if works.
On ep 8 so far..... These guys are so great together. Love their vibe. Also, grandma is so amazing! I get a kick out of the product placements on GMMTV series :D Also my vision (hope)....I always felt that Taem was bi. I'd love to see her with another strong female;) P.S. The announcers at the dance were soooooo cute/fine! Loved them!

Advice/warnings much appreciated!
