I think Pei Su thinks he is an Apath because of his father's psychological abuse. Pei Su doesn't want to be an Apath (He doesn't want to be like his father), so this treatment makes one sick at sight of blood. So much so that he could never hurt anyone or he'd get immediately sick at the sight of blood. It is so EFFED up. Poor Pei Su is damaged from his father's treatment. But I could be wrong (I never read book)...maybe he is an Apath....? What you think?

I think part of it is also that LSS cannot separate out her future self (where he is her brother in immortal clan)…
IKR. I totally wasn't expecting that and was totally confused. I thought maybe it was a translation thing...that maybe she MEANT something less negative....but it got lost in translation. But everything I could find...even those who know the language where like "no....that what she said." ARGH. Maybe the writers didn't flesh out the scene well enough....idk.... It was so chaotic! I both love/hate her character...... but I guess that is fitting considering that the characters both have a love/hate toward each other...? 😅
