Riiiight, You have explained it so perfectly so thank you. I guess now I know I'm just wondering what was the point for the whole story, like what's the message. I often think that the whole point of a Sci-Fi genre is to answer the What If? Followed by opening up a new narrative. Whereas in this drama, I didn't get that. Instead I thought we had a story about a Flood and survival, only to be slapped with Human and AI etc out of the blue. Guess execution was the let down.
Like who did Shulang pis***off in his previous life to have all this karma following him. Boi has suffered...😌 It's as if he has a sign "jerks come my way" on his forehead, cause he is collecting them like pokemon. I really feel pity for the guy and you can see he is depressed and tired. In a way maybe that's the best revenge for FX. At this point it's mutual destruction where everyone is hurting. FX looks like the grim-reaper and that black outfit is not helping 😄
Guys can anyone please explain the ending cause it left me scratching my head in confusion 😕 I feel like with this movie, I only understood the flood, and saving the baby. Everything else 🤷♀️
S.Korea can do a lot of incredible productions either movies or series with a diverse genres; however, one genre they have not done right or mastered, is Sci-Fi.
Yu all, I'm addicted to this drama...Now this is what you call a Revenge story. I was quite disappointed this year by some anticipated revenge dramas with your favs. that aired only to feel very underwhelmed. So I'm glad, with this one, my year ends on a happy note. Anyway, so far I'm in ep. 6 and I noticed Bai Wan didn't react at all whilst Huai An was crying buckets at their father's grave. Ain't they siblings hence lost their father so why the lack of reaction 🤔 Actually can someone enlighten me, are they biological siblings and if yes, how did they seperate? That uncle from hell deserve everything and more. He should have been buried alive with his head hanging out like he did to that guy. I still don't like fake Zhang Mo and eachtime I see him, I just want to slap him...(Justice for real Zhang Mo). Something tells me the big baddie in the end is gonna be the current emporor or that guy on that wheelchair. I know we have the HB army chairman who is yet to come out but I think there is more to the story. And why do I feel like some of my favs. will die....okay okay, don't wanna be a jinx rn.
Okay, I kinda chuckled when I saw Huang Yue on the waiting list of that talent list 😆😆 I mean we all saw that coming. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that she returned. So my question is what was exactly the point of this competition when most participants either forfeited or left by some default. It's as if the writer just wanted to pave way for the leads to be at the top. I mean if that's the case then why create such program and with aim to select one person in the end.🤷 🤔 Am I making sense here 🤔 My highlight out of all this was my ship YF and Zhou. Yan Fei really surprised me the most. She became my most favourite cause her character remained consistent. Overall, it's an okay show.
Maybe I had different expectations...I don't know because I was expecting revenge, I was expecting FX to suffer, I was expecting SL to go full on baddie. And yet things are not that at all...FX continues to torment SL and the only difference is he is now doing it in the light. SL seems to remain powerless and hopeless and continue being tormented. Like where is the retaliation 😏 At this point I have issues with SL than FX. Here is the thing if someone is not leaving you any room to escape and regain your freedom, then join them on the road of destruction....Yeah, let's destroy eachother. So I was expecting SL to take such approach like maybe join 2nd brother to destroy FX. FX needs to be taught a lesson because surely this guy doesn't know mental destitution. It's sad to think SL actually thought he had a family...hmm I hate to break it to you, you're on your own. That snakey so-called brother of his is the devil's cousin.
Things have been going so well writers...why bring Africa into this 🙄 Anywho, communication is a major issue between these two that if it was real life, I would be interested to know how their relationship is 5-10 years to come.
Now wait a godamn minute...Is she lying about going with him to the US or she is lying about how long she will stay there when they go 🤔 Now this is the ish that makes me have trust issues 😆 Like imagine you think you are on the same page with your partner and low and behold, they have a different mind....sigh Okay, I'm just speculating here but if that's true then sis messed up and I get why he was spewing "I hate you"...
Ep. 1 I see Esther Yu and I'm happy...She has been quiet lately or maybe my algorithm is a bit off...don't know. Anywho, after watching ep 1. Am I the only one who keeps thinking why did they have to make them siblings to begin with...like why 🤔 He could have just been a boy from next door who grew up with her and then he lost his parents and some uncle adopts him and takes him to Thailand and she goes to find him etc. The story will still have the same impact so why siblings... Anywho I like it so far and I'm curious about Jin Zhao's life. Like what turned an educational smart boy into a dropout and a gangster.
