Woah, came here for some first impressions and I got them in spades...hehe Okay, I'm not sure about the sci-fi ish going on but for me the only part that will keep me going is the Relationship dynamic of our leads. What can I say, I love messy situations π€ͺ But seriously though, I'm intrigued and I'm actually rooting for our leads to get together. Our ML character clearly doesn't love the heiress and just going with the flow. Yes they slept together but so what....they are adults. And the heiress knows he doesn't love her but my bet is she wants to remain in her delulu continent. As for our FL character, well we don't know much except that she slept with her colleague and seem to be in something. However the underlying matter is they are all grown a** adults. Plus S3X doesn't equal Relationship, Commitment geez. Yes, ideally it would be nice if our OTP break off whatever they have on earth before getting together but then again Life is not always ideal.
This drama is unexpectedly so funny I don't know whether the science part they show are true or not but it's interesting. My…
But we don't know if they are committed though do we π€ Sleeping with someone or having a situationship doesn't equal commitment (my opinion). Ofc I would want them to end whatever that is they currently have before getting together; however, even if it doesn't happen that way, I don't think I will side-eye them. That's just me.
Ep. 14. And I want to slap JiaJia's father and shake her mom to wake up. So these two are actually flirting and revisiting their old xul days of romance whilst knowing all to well one is remarried....wooow. Poor Li Mang. And to think in the beginning, I was side-eyeing her thinking she might have had a hand in these two divorce, only to realise she might actually be a victim in all this. Her only fault is falling in love with a wrong man. It's sooo apparent that Professor Xu still has the hots for his wife and so it seems she might be harbouring a little flame for him too. So why divorce in the first place??? Okay, lets say people are allowed to do what they want but this douche Professor went on to marry another woman only to treat her like a doormat maid. Now that his wife I mean ex-wife appears again, he forgets his current marital status...wooow. If I were Li Mang, I would just immediately divorce him and move on with my life. Let these exes have another go then. They deserve each other.....Good riddance to bad rubbish. I kind of lost my respect on JiaJia's mom cause I actually thought she saw that this man ain't it hence the divorce...Alas, that doesn't seem to be the case. If I had my way, Li Mang needs to meet the Assistant and hit it off. I would totally ship them...hehe Aaah, Joe and Elvis are driving me nuts....Like what happened to communication again...sigh As for Le and Mai...I don't care anymore...I mean it seems the writer is doing a pretty damn good job to make me not care about these two, so π€·ββοΈ. I still love Mr Frank and Casey....Aaah, Frank's mom...please don't come and spoil my joy of these two...ππ½
This drama is my new Infatuation. When watching, you get this whimsical vibe and dare I say, I'm completely seduced. What I love so far is an array of characters, some you see yourself in, some you can relate to and others you can learn from. What can I say, this pot has everything for everyone. My only issue is, with only 18 eps. and that many characters the story can feel choppy and disjointed. Nonetheless, it's really interesting π€ Back to the story.....Nowonder JiaJia and A' Hao decided to plan their wedding and then tell their families. Can't blame them after seeing the reaction. Everyone is projecting their feelings on eachother so ofc there is no resolve but chaos. JiaJia's father is a textbook narcissist and poor Ah-Meng who seem to had no clue of the man she was marrying. And that's how narcissists operate...they wooe you in with all the false honey and once you're in, then they remove the mask and expose the demon side. Ah-Meng, maaam Ruuuuun!!!. I mean you know your marriage is doomsday when you get advise from your estranged stepdaughter on how bad her father is to you. π π
Dr Kan goes to prison for about 8 years (if I'm not mistaken) and Wasan waited for him. When he got free, they reunited and got back together which means Wasan decided to move on from the death circumstances of his mom. And then one day Dr Kan got a call or letter (forgot exactly how) from someone who requested his help to self exit. To Kan's surprise, Wasan asked him if he was going to help. The End So that's the jist of the novel. Hope I didn't miss something.
Hiya hahahaβ¦ I finally told myself to wait until it finishes airing to avoid tragedy like AJTL and made peace…
Aww, so sorry. Like you, I nearly missed on this gem. After a heartbreak from AJTL ending and my disappointment from TSOAPG, I had decided to stop period dramas for a while. And when this came, I didn't care much cause I'm not a huge fan of the leads but one time, I was bored and decided to give it a go. Then panicked thinking about the possible ending, dropped it. Then I watched a video with the leads interview and MZY let it slip that it was a HE, then I went back to it. And the rest is history. You might think, you have missed out but I actually envy you now...
I am very honored to have come across this drama. I am very honored to have seen the versatility of the actors.…
Unlike you...I'm not a major fan of any of the lead actors (though they did an incredible job in Blossom) but recently I saw a video about the struggles MZY has gone through until now. Heard that she got a lot of hate after her character in The Untamed etc. Also some neti... didn't/don't think she is pretty enough π― (crazy right) With all that, I think she has proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with (not that she wasn't) in Blossom. Her performance is unforgettable and has my respect.
SERIOUSLY BLOSSOM HAD NO BUSINESS TO BE THIS GOOD. And yet it came, Ate and left no crumbs. After what I can call a disappointing year in Chinese period dramas (my opinion), this drama felt like that nice cup of Hot Chocolate I wasn't expecting. Blossom serves as a reminder that Actually, it's possible to make an excellent drama. You don't always need: traffic stars, the so called A'list actors, big budget, over the top cinematography etc. You just need a well thoughtout script, a director who cares and the actors who can deliver etc. Simple as that. AND TO ALL MY CHINGUS HERE, FAREWELL AND LET'S CONTINUE TO BLOSSOM.
We need to come up with a new term for that sort of kiss. When on side is really doing a bang up job and really…
" A one-sided dead fish" π€£π€£π€£π LOL Oooh be careful what you wish for...my uncle may be a Johnny look-alike but his character, I can't speak highly of. But seriously though the resemblance is too much. Even their height and body shape is a Johnny Huang replica. Its scary. He literally doesn't look like anyone else in the family. Guess it's time to sit down with my grandma...hehehe
Episode 1: A Weak Start with Forced StakesThe show kicks off with a dramatic but unconvincing scene: a guy with…
Need I say more...You said everything and more I was thinking π. Oh and I'm still holding onto that serial murder case they promised us in the summary....maybe I will have something to like.
So are you telling me Lu Yan gave 8 years of what could have been the best memories of her love life to a psycho dead ex-bestfriend....Woooow, Loyalty much. Poor Cheng Yi, the poor boy felt blindsided and till now he still doesn't know why his dear ex broke up with him then. That was a f****d up move by Lu Yan. And why is this gal feeling guilty or traumatised for something she never did wrong...like for real. They better be more to this cause.... Sorry not sorry cause I really don't feel any pity for that so called best friend unless it turns out to be a murder (maybe then). Anyone who covert a best friend's boyfriend is not a friend...Period! And the nerve for her to tell Lu Yan to break up with her bf so she can have a chance...Like WTH π±π Too many psychos in thos drama...I also don't trust that senior of Lu Yan because I sense a disturbing obsession for her which seem dangerous.
Hang on a sec...I thought this was about a serial murder case etc... Finished 2 eps and so far no murder so am I missing something π I don't know why but I find these ex lovers plot too melodramatic for my liking except ofc if it's done in a fun way. So far everything feels depressing and that's really not what I need right now. On another note...So are you telling me with the good kissing skills Johnny Huang possess, he couldn't get this gal to kiss properly...Wow. It makes it a bit cringey when you see one of the main lead actually giving his all whilst the other have her lips glued together... hehehe Anywho, I might have to wait it out on this one.... P.S. Johny Huang looks exactly like my uncle...like a doppelganger. So each time I'm about to swoon, my uncle comes to mind and I cringe.....LOL. I have a dilema hahahah
Honestly this weekβs episodes broke my heart a little. Iβm appreciating the approach of broaching both sides…
Well in the novel, Kan confessed, went to prison for some years, returned, Tew was waiting for him and they reconciled etc. Not sure if the drama will take that route though
