I'm really not expecting anything on our Leads kissing scene because from the trailer, there is a glimpse of an akward angle then the flashing fake sun, followed by birds pecking...so not really anything to look forward to. Actually what's the point of including a kiss scene that looks 1) fake 2) you put all kinds of stupid distractions 3) you include a bizarre scene (in this case birds). Are we 5 year olds... A story can be good too without a kiss you know and if you want to include it, can you do it properly...
Alas, if it turns out well then the joke is on me.
The one kiss scene I'm looking forward to is Hao Du and Leyan's as I saw a sneak pic....I just love these two.

Aww this drama is my poison these days. The story is moving and the angsty...poor Changge...gal can't catch a breath. Then poor Ashile Sun who is trying his hardest to protect his Changge and suffering in the process.
Usually I would frown upon Leyan character because she falls into the damsel in distress (DID) category but in this drama, Leyan has becone more than that. On the surface, she is timid, naive, DID but what I like about her is she is willing to learn and change. Through all her suffering (well that's mild suffering), she has seen how the commoners live and have no doubt that she is going to be more stronger and courageous. Or perhaps it's the power of Zhao Lusi who captures Leyan character with all its essence and portrays it with such grace and sincerity. Actually, I watched an interview where everyone was praising our Rosy Zhao's personality on set. They said she always brings out a smile in everyone's faces.

I asked the same thing..it beats me...
Its like in a matter of days, he has a moustache and he is Your Majesty...
I had to do a double take to see if I missed an ep.

Xu Lu and Li Yin are a pairing I never thought I needed in a Drama. They have definitely captured my interest and I strongly think if it was a different pairing, I would have pass on.
Now, I don't know what this writer and director were thinking to cast Hu Bing as 2nd ML. Actually, I presume they were going for a sophisticated, put together, mature and experienced 2nd lead but it didn't hit the mark. HB fits the criteria really well (he is super hot alright) but the age Combination of all 3 main characters makes him unfit for the role. LY is 22, XL is 26 and he is 49/50 I think the age gap between him and LY is too large. If LY was maybe in his 30s then that would sort of balance. Right now it looks like..Father and Son competing for a girl. Yeah it doesn't look appealing.
But so far the drama is good so will continue...

I'm telling you I was shocked too. I loved him in The Ultimate Note (even shipped him with Yu Chen) and now he is Hao Du...
He went from Comedy to Poker face...haha
Liu Yu Ning is very talented....like really what can't he do.

Oh Changge definitely miss the signals. We've got Ashilla Sun who is giving her the hearty eyes and gifting her a stone that shines (he can pretty much pluck the moon for her) and all she say is "But why are you givng me this" LOL
I do understand her though...right now romance is not in her mind and all she cares about is her country which is in danger.

Ep 19 & 20 felt so short.
The story is getting interesting

Omg! I love it too.
It's certainly not perfect but I really enjoy our main cast acting and the story (especially hospital cases) is very interesting. Each time a pregnant woman comes, I get excited for Dr Zhou to help.
Not gonna lie the the language shift sometimes throw me off but then I appericiate the no-need for sub titles...hehe

I have been so hesitantly watching this drama due to the number of ep. So I'm pleasantly surprised.
So proud if this writer who write a story of a normal couple.

Aww, A'Dou...the adorable, dimple smile A'Dou = Me crying a river.
They say, it's not about how many lines you have or scenes you have for your character...what's most important is your acting ability and the impression the viewers are left with. I would say, that boy who played A'Dou is a brilliant actor and he will definitely go places. Who knows, he could be the next Leo Wu.

Omg! You read my mind. I find it so unnecessary and it breaks the emotional flow of the scene. One minute, I'm like...Aww that's sad, and the next I'm "why are there cartoons??"
I really don't understand the purpose of it. In ep. 1 first scene is acceptable but after it's annoying.

Oh Hao Du...he is so bad and sexy at the same time which makes him irresistible.
This drama has impeccable timing for music and emotional scenes. That scene when AS is comforting CG whilst watching the moon was so beautiful and the accompanying background music made it more poignant.
Usually I wouldn't care for characters like Leyan but ZLS makes her so fragile but endearing that you just want to protect her. I certainly feel what Changge feels for her now...Like you wanna toss her to the side but can't help but to care so much for her. After all she is trying her best to save her cousin, that count for a lot right.
What exactly can Shuyu do again??? sigh

Aww, that drinking game was so adorable. The little half truths and lies and how they busted eachother....That scene right there sold it Chemistry wise.
Now I feel like I have a love-hate relationship with Hao Dou. He really pi***s me off the way he is running around hunting for Changge like a dog that's been promised a bone. But then I kinda enjoy his moments with Li Yue Yan...he is adorable there....sigh

Haha, you made me laugh on "resident fetching dog". I agree with you, I'm like what is wrong with this guy. And it seems he knows it's wrong because you can sense his hesitation at times but then suddenly he is hell bent on killing FL. It's like he is possessed or something.
My theory is he hate Changge because he knows ShuYu likes her, the same ShuYu whom Li Yeu Yan likes and the latter he has a crush on. So I'm guessing is his scornful attitude to Shuyi is pretty much saying...how come the girl I like only has you in her eyes whilst you have eyes for someone else. So he can't get the girl (for now) and knows that the girl will be heart-broken in the end. It's more like a revenge thing where he now turns to kill FL to spite ShuYu.
Just my assumption.

Yep it seems that way but on the sec. FL side.

I thought I would give this one a try until I saw the ep. count. Oh No No! 45 ep. nothing new but unnecessary tons of break ups, love triangle or quadrangle, a list of romance rivals for FL or ML, useless misunderstandings...neither I say more.
Again, nothing new.

I don't know the source material and have only watched 4 ep. but I would say the story is very good so far. You get interested in everyone inc. the villains.
It's giving me off Princess Agents vibes but in a good way (ofc I don't hope for P.A ending in this)

Just watched 4 ep. of this and Oh My Days...I'm in trouble. The wait for subs is going to be painful.
This drama is superb. I just realised I haven't felt this exhilaration about a FL story since Princess Agents and Fuyao days and that's a long time ago. If I can describe this drama in one word is Balance. Everything is so well balanced that nothing interferes with the other and takes centre. Often times I have seen a drama where the acting sort of anchors the story which keeps me interested but here I intrigued by everything; from story, cinematography, directing, acting the pro and antagonists...like every detail.
And I gotta give credit to where it's due and say Dilreba is killing this role. Actually for me it's probably her best performance to date and just based on these 4 ep. (I know, she is really terrific here). I forgot that I'm watching Dilreba acting and just saw Changge and I'm rooting for her all the way.
And the villains are just fun to watch... Actually is it what it seems???
Now the wait for ep. 5 begins = me crying.
