I have a question for people who have completed this drama and also A Dream of Splendour. May I know in your honest (personal) opinion, which is a better production? I’ve not watched ADOS yet but I’m asking because many have compared the 2. But since all you LLTG fans have same taste as me, I tot it’s best to check your opinion. 🤭

Last night I watched a review on YouTube about this show hitting a rating of 8 on some Chinese period drama rating and was considered 2nd highest on that list. LLTG only managed 7.6 but apparently it came in 3rd after ADOS.

I’m asking also because I’m considering watching ADOS but after a 10min quick peek I kind of decided I don’t really like it. Shd I give it another chance I’m wondering 🤔

Sigh. Makes sense. If this gets bad it’ll destroy their acting career and that of the opposite leads of their future dramas! That’s crazy! I hope the Chinese Govt steps in to interfere as they have in many aspect already. Unruly unreasonable and uncontrollable behaviour that is potentially harmful must be curbed by stronger power up there. China is huge. c-netizens influence can be huge and potentially dangerous.

I think it’s in the crypt when he told LB’s wife of his regrets that she forgave him.

Don’t know when the internal monologue was spoken externally.

He asked her if she’s forgiven him coz she’d just run towards him fresh from bawling at his suspected demise and embraced him.

He doesn’t try any harder at their juicing sugarcane date because he’s ashamed of his mistakes still. Can’t forgive himself.
