I think he’s one of those upright loyal supporter of the Emperor. If that video is accurate SS is going to take a long time before meeting LBY next week because she’s going to go to a war zone (I’m guessing this is the place where she’d asked the Emperor to allow her to go to find her dad) first, run into some life and death situation before she’s found in a half dead state by LBY in some dungeon. 🫣😨😭

I’ve noticed that so far everyone in the drama eats this round white flat bland looking bread. Is that historically accurate? I thought Chinese people ate mostly rice… or is this drama set in a period long before rice became a staple?
The food served at the Empress banquet also look quite different from the Chinese food I know. And this is the first time I see wine served individually in giant vases with ladles. I wonder if the production team did any research on these….🤔
