You're right, but it's not like Blueming was being original - that's a classic scene construction that you can…
The accidental kiss was....a less than stellar idea I think.
I don't recall Blueming either, but I'm sure I watched it... it simply didn't leave much of an impression on me.
Maybe I will go re-watch it.

I get zero harassment vibes. Lee Jun is in the higher position, and Haram is simply pursuing him. If pursuing…
@jpny01 I didn't care for the very aggressive pursuit either, but you have very fair points about the job position and the 3 meter rule that Haram didn't break.

In any event, I was somewhat on the fence with just the first 2 episodes, but I am liking it significantly more now.

The first thing I thought when they kissed was that it wasn't the dead fish lip press.
Yeah, it's annoying when they do that, or chin kisses with camera angles trying to make it look like they are kissing etc...
I don't need nudity or a big sex scene, but some intimacy that looks legit is important.

I didn't think they had sex - maybe it's left to interpretation. Also, stalker/harasser? He's pursuing someone,…
Yeah, it's a very delicate situation.
It can be interpreted either way depending on your point of view and how closely you watch.
They did put those hints you are talking about, but maybe they should have added more or more explicit hints for people who don't watch as closely?
I truly loved every time Lee Jun stomped or slapped Haram though. :)

why did this immediately get good as fuck after such an abysmal first episode? i’m happy that my initial impression…
Some shows are like that.
That's why I try to withhold judgement until it gets further along.
I actually had very low expectations for this show, but I decided to watch anyway.
Also, I really didn't care for the initial actions of Haram, but after the 3rd episode I am starting to think it could be a decent show.
So I will continue to watch it.

Am I the only one who thinks that there's good chemistry between the leads? I don't get the hate towards the show…
There is some decent chemistry.
As for love, I don't believe in love at first sight...but I do believe in 'like'. And like can turn into love, so yeah, I don't think it's childish just because he likes a guy who helped him when he was feeling exceedingly nervous.
And yes, the 'hate' is irrational. They must really secretly love it to spend so much time talking about it.

Not just this one. I've been noticing a trend, certain people who watch an episode or a couple episodes and then…
We will have to agree to disagree.
It's not about lowering standards, it's about understanding the situation.
If you don't like it, then don't watch it. Especially since you think it's not very good.
Very simple.
Why someone would spend so much time bashing on shows they claim not to like from the first couple of episodes is truly perplexing.

I never comment on anything and have watched almost 200 dramas since I started last year. But I have to say I'm…
Not just this one. I've been noticing a trend, certain people who watch an episode or a couple episodes and then come here to the forums to bash the shows.

Everyone knows that BLs are almost always shot with:
- a low budget
- usually new actors
- some logic issues on the scripts(often because of the budget)

Although I would love to have them get the budget to work out those script issues and do the extra takes to make it perfect, it isn't practical.

These issues are usually out of the control of the content creators. Otherwise you wouldn't see so much product placement in BLs!

So I'm thinking....if they don't like BL or romance why are they even watching? If they want something super polished, they should go support them financially so they can actually do that.

I try not to feed the trolls though. (It would just encourage them.)

Thanks for joining the crew, Up: I slept for half an hour and then you appeared and woke me up.
Ahhh if only he had managed to get a series out of those "KA Thailand" commercials he did with 'First Kanaphan Puitrakul' !

I've been watching on 2x speed.
Agreed.
I LIKE the episode length to be longer than the little 20 minute episodes done by a lot of others.

If it's too long for them then they can cut it into 7 parts and just watch a little bit a day! LoL

Ok, so here's what we all really want to know: why did the boss keep the sales tags on his new jacket? Is he planning…
They didn't say (at least they didn't translate it if they did....).
He didn't seem to be the type to wear and return, I think he may have simply missed taking off that tag.
I've had that happen before, remove one tag but there was another one hidden away...
Ultimately I think it was just a mechanism to show that he was 'optimistic/eager' for the date so he bought a new jacket.

Yes, he deserves every stomp/slap!
But Jun does need knocked out of that mindset... not sure it was the best way to go about it though.

Reminded me a bit of 'Long Time No See' in that aspect. :)
Yes I was wondering if that was going to happen as well. Korean BLs have been very hit or miss on the intimacy issue (mostly miss!)
So it is always good to see it portrayed in a more realistic manner.

I really like that they are not rushing into the romantic moments. Pat needs to control his emotions a little…
LoL.

Controlling emotions and not jumping to conclusions.

That's something that is very difficult for a lot of people to do (controlling emotions and not jumping to conclusions I mean).

I really liked both leads in their formal suits! Maybe, except for huge bow ties - it could be a fashion though,…
This is a cultural thing....
My understanding is tootsie is a femme gay man who may or may not cross dress.
But bear in mind that I'm not Thai and I'm mostly guessing based on things like 'Diary of Tootsies' ( https://mydramalist.com/16679-diary-of-tootsies ) and related shows.

For Kathoey it seems to be transgender? And are seen as being a 3rd gender in Thailand. (Also known as a ladyboy)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathoey

Ultimately I think it boils down to having specific words to denote masculine/effeminate gay men based on where they view themselves on the spectrum.

Also, I do NOT know if it's considered to be 'polite' to use those terms if you are not a member of the 'community'. For example, before being reclaimed the word 'queer' was very derogatory.

So maybe someone who knows can chime in on whether those are considered to be derogatory terms when said by those outside the community.
