This series was no different from other revenge centric lakorns. The only saving grace for this series and what sets it apart is the remorse the ML feels after he rapes the FL. I am yet to see another Thai lakorn where the ML expresses genuine regret and remorse for raping the FL-whether it's marital rape or otherwise. The director gave some screen time to the ML to show his self reflection and regret. He doesn't justify it, doesn't make light of it but rather spends the rest of the series apologising for it. I don't condone such behaviour. But at least it was better than those other series where the ML continues to be abusive, toxic and unrepentant even after the incident.
