I personally love SHK as an actress! People keep saying she’s emotionless but most of the times, those are the kinda roles given to her. But one thing that bothers me so much is how they won’t let her partner w someone around her age?? Don’t get me wrong, I love noona dramas but at this point it just feels a bit too much..
Back in 2019 when I was so new to dramas, I remember watching healer for the first time as one of my very first dramas and having my jaw dropped at this man. That’s when I knew it, alrightt- hands up- this dudes gonna be my ult kdrama crush and 3 years later, it’s still the sameee
It’s been long since I found out but it still eats me up knowing her age gap w the dude in hi! School love on. Literally feels surreal knowing she’s 21 NOW. Literally NOW. And she was barely 14 then.
I think one of the points that made me heavily dislike the drama were 1. How so much of the drama was just about the ML and his gf/ex. It’s like most of the drama was dragged w their relationship! 2. The SFL was one of the most frustrating ones I’ve ever come across. 3. The way our ML never found out that the SFL cheated on him. God I hated that to the core. 3. The racism. 4. Our leads had so much potential but they barely got any time together? 5. I wish the leads could show more affection as a whole. But nonetheless, episode 1 was great! The comedy was really good too! To sum it up, this was truly one of those dramas which had SOOO MUCHH potential but was ofc ruined in the latter half :/
Idc what people say. Yes, Wookie is indeed one of those actors who’s made for action dramas but can we as fans just be happy and supportive of how he’s been experimenting and trying many genres with roles? Except backstreet rookie, I quite liked all his recent ones! Especially lovestruck! Lets just be a supportive fandom and not comment “his pre military dramas were better” or “he’s such a good actor, why is he picking roles like these”
Wow whenever I think about this show, I always recall the cultural shock I had when I was only 2 years into watching kdramas and never saw a drama with more than 20 episodes 💀
