Imho, his face features looks too soft to be Roronoa Zoro who has a rugged look. However since cast selections are made by Oda-sensei and judging from Rurouni Kenshin i believe he's going to pull it off. We'll see~

Tbh, i feel the same way about Japanese actors. Most of Korean and Chinese actors tend to appear too perfect and beautified for my taste (ofc there ARE Korean and Chinese actors that i find attractive but less than Japanese) and Japanese actors rarely apply makeup or less makeup to their faces and that makes them appear more natural and manly.

Imho, most of Satoh Takeru's dramas are hit or miss (maybe exception of Tenno no Ryoriban) i feel like they're getting high ratings because he's casted as the main role. He's now hugely popular and most successful young actor in Japan. However ngl, i think he is the best choice for a doctor role. I wouldn't mind seeing him in another medical drama but i doubt if he'll act in another anytime soon.

Thanks for the recommendations. That's a nice choice from him. Instead of waste the talent on uninteresting productions he wants to make a big move.
