The review bombing is getting out of hand. This deserves at least an 8.7 and that's no lie.
All the seasons were wonderful and the third season was beautifully tragic. Who seriously watched Squid Game and didn't expect "their favorites" to die? Have 90% of you lost your minds...? Just asking, because I can't wrap my head around why anyone would logically think that.
The writing is literally no different as the first season in quality. Y'all are overreacting, acting like this is Sweet Home seasons 2&3 2.0
The Director told you it was going to be bleak, don't watch it then if that's not what's to be expected for SQUID GAME, my gosh.
I feel bad for the poor writer, everyone extremely missing the point and trashing it for no logical reason. People are simply biased towards season 1 and didn't want to give anything else a chance.
Did you even see the acting performances in the end episode? That was one of the best I've ever seen in ANY show in any language.
And using Squid Game to turn it into a Man bashing fest and why Women shouldn't trust Men is absolutely disgusting behavior. Shame on the people who are continually doing this. Unhinged stupidity.
Gi Hun is a hypocrite, first he doesn't care about his own daughter but decides to protect and die for a damn…
That's because humans are deeper than black and white. You never know what someone may do when pushed to the brink.
Who says he doesn't care about his own daughter? He obviously was wanting to be with her but he couldn't let the games continue and hurt more people.
After Jung baes death Gi Hun had a mental breakdown, wasn't in his right mind after so many traumatic events took place (losing multiple friends, first game and then Jung bae) and needed someone to blame, that's why he did what he did to Dae ho. He indefinitely felt awful about it afterwards once he realized, and even put the blame on himself and tried to kill himself.
He made some mistakes along the way but made the right choice in the end.
Him taking care of Jun hee and the baby was him trying to make up for being absent in his daughters life, and finally for once be the Father he's wanted to be. The kiss to the baby at the end felt like a final goodbye to his daughter just as much as to the baby.
Imo Season 3 was the best season. It raised questions and discussions about humanity, and the lengths people can…
The only deep comment here that understood the show. Everyone missed the point. It was thrilling from start to finish as well. I'm usually picky about what they do with endings, but this was the right choice whether people like it or not.
Watched a couple episodes a while ago and forgot to come back as I went and watched Vincenzo, out of the blue I was like "There's that guy that got locked in the closet and shushed with a pain relief patch!" LOL
I think maybe is the translation? i watched it just in Korean and it is nothing like you describe it. Plus the…
Yeah it definitely is a translation problem for some of it haha but those burgers look 100% like something an AI machine would create due to the unnatural movements and a burger having nothing to do with the show. This is a Disney+ show and Disney has admitted to using AI recently so I wouldn't be surprised.
they should have shown how the killer killed them, it would have been more fun
I was thinking this too while watching, but a small Woman like that probably couldn't kill all those people in such a brutal way as they supposedly died. They didn't know how to make it work so they skipped that part altogether. The more I think about this drama the more I dislike it š„“ lol
I WANNA WATCH THIS BUT I AM NOT SUBBED TO DISNEY+ HELPPI UEFHOAUISDHF GOSIUFHBS
It's not worth it anyway. Sadly since it is Disney+, the translation is absolutely awful and puts completely different sentences than they ever said. Could be one of the reasons I found the show very incoherent.
Sorry, but nothing makes any sense and I'm wholeheartedly convinced this was partly written by AI. Every sentence ends unfinished with characters exclaiming "What?" and then the topic will completely change direction, with it expecting you to understand the said implications of the dialogue when they've said and done nothing the whole episode. Very very lazy writing.
Myself and the person I was watching with figured out who the culprit was in two seconds because, guess what? The dialogue made coherent sense, as if it was intelligible. That portion had to be written by a human so it actually made logical sense.
The whole climax was underwhelming and messy to say the least.
The intro looks AI generated badly.
Very flat drama that's predictable but also too confusing for it's own good due to poor writing. I wish I could get my hours back that I spent watching this.
I hate to say it and be "one of those people" š, but by all the negative feedback and comments about people dropping this drama (like I did at episode 10 but haven't recorded it properly due to not caring), 8.4 is an extremely inflated rating and makes this show look better than it is. I feel bad for anyone starting this and have to say something.
The soundtrack was amazing but it was a very boring, lackluster and painful drama to try and get through.
If I see something on here with an 8.4 I will usually give it a go, it's the low 7's you have to look out for when gauging whether or not a drama will be worth a shot.
This wasn't any more than maybe a 7.9/8 and it seems many others felt this way too. The rating is misleading.
I don't really understand why so many dramas get such high ratings. Maybe this site needs one of those rating system guidelines like IMDb has to know how to rate something properly.
I think rating something 8.5 for something you really like is completely fair, including even more stars for something you felt like you could rewatch over and over and have. This most certainly does not deserve 8.4 and not even by just certain people's opinionated ratings, it's just not a very good show that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Not to mention the product placement WAS the show.
So if you ever are asking yourself if this one seems like it'll be worth it, the answer is a definite no. Felt like a waste of my time and there's so many other options out there with better quality that are actually enjoyable and not torture to power through. I feel bad for the actors talents being wasted.
Go check out the soundtrack 100% though. All the songs have been added to my Spotify playlist and I listen regularly, so those are worth it!
Oh dang, I didn't expect that kid to be killed off so quickly! How sad. Episode 3 was a more serious focused episode with some needed backstory, still going strong for me personally. Can't wait till the next episode, then I'll have to wait a whole nother week š lol

Suddenly disappeared and is absolutely nowhere to watch.

Only waiting for the whole soundtrack because that's where the good stuff is.
If anyone can finish this to the end, let me know whether or not Dong Ju dies lol
I wouldn't recommend a show to anyone with that many advertisements, sorry šµāš«š
Need I mention Get In The Rings cover art is extremely pleasing to the eye? It perfectly encapsulates the song and show.
This is what I get for watching an ongoing drama.
Time Lapse on top.
