The ratings are low because nobody's watching it or is able to rate it since it isn't available legally anywhere in the US. This is happening more and more with ongoing dramas to the point I'm forced to 🏴☠️ because I can't access them otherwise... lol
For educational purposes and to let the masses know before hating on this as a "cash grab", I wish someone, anyone would've told me it is based off a Manga where Arisu goes back to borderland. It actually exists and not just Netflix trying to supposedly cash grab. No we don't need a USA one but... just don't watch it then? Pretty simple solution, nothing to get so riled up about.
" 2020 - 2021 Alice in Borderland Retry " is what this season was based off of and where it came from, with a few changes, yes, but so does the first seasons have subtle differences from the Manga.
It's not boring, it just went the psychological route to create suspense, there was still plenty of Physical games too. I feel like I watched a different show than what other people did and they're overexaggerating it to sound bad.
I agree with you, I loved S3, the games and the characters, especially Rei, however, I think what most of us were…
That's understandable! I just wish someone would've told me beforehand that this was actually based on a Manga created in 2020 - 2021 Alice in Borderland Retry". It wasn't 100% unoriginal material created by Netflix for only money and the audience didn't mind the good addition to expanding the original Manga and Arisu going back to borderland. They also added some of the original Manga games that didn't fit in the other seasons, here. It technically (Japanese one, not American tease) wasn't completely a cash grab. If it was well done, then the creators should get their share of earning money for it, nothing wrong with that. I really did think this was a random extra season, but there is actually a Manga it's based off of. Loved this season!
Extremely stupid so far and I'm 4 episodes in. No zombies anywhere barely and for there being a small amount of episodes, it doesn't matter if they show up later, it already missed the mark. I'm bored out of my mind and all the characters are annoying. Must only be popular because of the actors and not for the show actually being good.
Jeok-bong yes is a bit powerless but I thought he was funny in a cringe way. This season did have an issue where the main character was more in the background a bit but I really hope we get a season 3 to fix those issues. This was a fine sequel and was a bit weird at first but got really good towards the end! Idk, another forced hate sequel just because people don't like extra seasons of things when they're actually lots of fun to watch and awesome to see the cast together again!
seen everyone say they feel season 2 and 3 were a waste of time - would it still make sense if you just watch…
Season 1 basically is the Webtoon without a few extra things that the other seasons added. I'd recommend watching season 1 then skipping through the other 2 seasons where the main character is and one other character, you'll know who. I did this and know I didn't miss a thing skipping all the filler of the next two seasons, you'll get through them pretty fast because Hyun-su isn't in the other seasons very much sadly. This season is peak always.
Watched it 6+ times, that's just how good it is, and that's coming from someone who doesn't enjoy romance at all. it's got everything and the story is interesting enough to keep you hooked. Never understood the "boring" critique this gets too often. I Love it!
Wish Kdramas would make more Fantasy genred stories. Those tend to end up my favorite ones.
Same lol I read about a dozen chapters of the Web novel but that's it, I saw some of the clips and it definitely seemed different than what I had Invisioned while reading, but I do like some of the actors of the movie. If it's bad, it'll be good for a laugh anyhow!

For being so short, what a great great series.
How can you tell what is a good rating for Jdramas? I've kind of realized what's considered a good rating for Kdramas but it differs across languages.
Skip Gelly and everything is perfect 😂
