Honestly, this isn't coming from someone who's seen this or really knows who Jisoo is to have a formed opinion, but anytime I see singers in a show I be sure to simply watch it with an open mind and not bother with what the comments say. Kpop fans who "stan" other people and hate on another are people who live pathetic lives that have nothing else to do. it's a reflection on them and their poor behavior, not the actress or show, remember that. They're so pitiful. Judge by the show alone and ignore the hate fueled garbage that's being spewed out. But also don't assume someone is biased when they say they don't like the show, because there's always differing opinions too! ☺️
What a shame, looks like they turned a Webtoon about Psychology into a cliché murder mystery drama you could find anywhere. There's hints of that, but in the parts of the Webtoon that weren't even released yet. They should try to revamp this story and make it actually all about real psychology, then it'd be a gem just like the real plot was meant to be. Dr Frost is an extremely unique concept that looks like was done dirty with this live action.
Edit: Oh yes, this is most certainly a dumpster fire in comparison to what the original work was about and I've never seen worse casting in my life. One episode was enough to not want to continue.
Thank goodness someone has some sense and knows exactly what lense it was meant to be portrayed through. The other…
Alright then..? I can't imagine how much effort it must take to feel the need to fight and argue with everyone you disagree with and call opinions hateful. I'm going to, however, save my energy for the comments I do agree with and leave it at that. So much more peaceful.
Thank goodness someone has some sense and knows exactly what lense it was meant to be portrayed through. The other…
If you don't agree with me, scroll on. I've only said it a couple times and was happy to see another commenter share in my same writing critique. It might make you feel better to go discuss whatever you feel in a separate comment so people can reply to with the same train of thought instead of argue with people who don't share your same sentiment.
Thank goodness someone has some sense and knows exactly what lense it was meant to be portrayed through. The other…
I never said I didn't like it, I said it had it's good spots but became ultimately boring for me. Then after the misunderstanding I had to drop it. It's not hate stating your opinion on a drama. The comments would all be lies if everyone and their dog is saying the same narritive. I was enjoying portions of it, but I don't like other portions as well. Having an opinion is not hate, telling someone they can't have an opinion is hateful. I never threw shade to the actual actors or actresses themselves. Differentiate between hate and opinion please.
it won't ever happen, because it is still a failure after 10years. And the script they released in 2024 they cut…
Eh don't mind "Chinese Empress" they're clearly a troll and a Cdrama fanatic. Everything that's Korean on their account is rated 1.0
They're so creepily obsessed with Chinese content to the point they're everywhere trolling people for liking remakes of Chinese dramas or anything that isn't specifically Chinese.
Seems to be a common trope in Chinese dramas that the FL can treat the ML like literal garbage and that’s considered…
Thank goodness someone has some sense and knows exactly what lense it was meant to be portrayed through. The other person saying you're blowing it out of proportion is such a lie.
Most shows have the FL treat the ML like garbage and it's justified, but vice versa and everybody loses their minds. I would never tell someone I'd see things through with them till the end if I was going to throw away my promise as if it was nothing... you shouldn't be with someone who treats you like this, I thought he deserved way better than that. His heartbroken reaction was too much for me.
Does it have a sad ending? And is he really dead or in a coma
Haha I totally get you! I loved this show to pieces, but i had to watch it in chunks because of how heavy it could get, so I can't imagine what would happen if you watched it after that movie! Definitely watch something fluffy first 🥲 lol
Does it have a sad ending? And is he really dead or in a coma
If you'd like spoilers I'll go ahead and tell you! :)
**SPOILERS**
Yes he's really dead and it bounces back and forth between when they were together, the moments leading up to his death and him as a grim reaper. His death is sad and painful for her (and the audience), but ultimately hopeful in the end about dealing with grief, especially from his side and his attitude about it. It's a bittersweet ending but the final say is positive. You'll be sad, but also happy.
Yeah she's pretty annoying! push through though! the other 2 seasons don't have her and they're so much more relaxing…
Oh yeah Season 3 is still really great, there's just one little thing missing from it that the other seasons had (which I won't explain because you'll understand what's up when you get there) but it's still absolutely worth watching for me because it stays within how Taxi Driver always is. Every season is worth watching for sure! I love all of them honestly. Seasons 1&2 are 10/10, season 3 is a 9/10 but it's still amazing! Really loved every season and it stayed consistently good.
I’m watching episode 7 and istg the prosecutor lady is one of the most annoying characters I’ve seen in my…
Yeah she's pretty annoying! push through though! the other 2 seasons don't have her and they're so much more relaxing and fun because there isn't a random side quest character. Season 2 is better than season 1 to me because of this and they add a better character.
This is when I dropped it honestly. She said she'd always stay by his side basically and abandons him after that.…
Same thing as abandoning. Saying they weren't meant to fall in love is also a trope that branches out into abandoning someone, which was what was present here and I'm aware of that, I watched far enough to see that much.
The drama isn't very bad but the acting didn't impress me much. I think ML's acting is inadequate. Not bad but…
Yeah I have to agree, I hate to say it anywhere but I've never been able to get into a show with Ji Sung in it. I've tried several times, but I don't feel he's as good of an actor as most make him out to be.
I'm sure it's not that bad either haha
Definitely from somebody who doesn't know the source material and took it at face value.
