What I don't understand....why couldn't Cir be with Phu in high school instead of stalking him for 4 years which…
"I don't think she has a real understanding of the human mind or how relationships work...in her writing--it's stalk them, attack them, and then fuck them."

After how many adaptions of her novels turned into BL series, and their continued success, she has absolutely no reason to change what works for her.

sorry not sorry, but the "leaving your dream/an opportunity for the sake of love" trope is and forever will be…
Whew.....I am so disappointed. I didn't go in with high expectations of the series, but it feels like the screenwriter couldn't figure out what he set out to do with the plot and the characters. They couldn't scrap what they had and start over again.

Oh well.

Done watching the abs, I mean the latest Taiwan BL series. It's like this series was released from a pre-2019 vault, but somehow allowed their male characters to have an active sex life. Maybe that's why it wasn't released until now.

Maybe the older brother is thinking to himself, "Hey, if Lu Hui has Yu Xing to take care of him, I won't have to also continue to put my own life on hold anymore?" Especially now that Lu Xi has his own man in his life.

Is this the new Unforgotten Night?
I don't think that any new BL could ever excel Unforgotten Night. That was so bad, that it truly became entertaining to see what would come next in the episodes.

The longer this goes on, the more it feels like the screenwriter is playing a joke on the audience. Things are…
Lu Xi is just spoiled. If you really think about him and his older brother's situation, Lu Xi should be a bit more mature, due to both of them losing their parents at such a young age. His brother probably made sacrifices, like not going to college, be able to just do whatever he wanted, because he had to raise his younger sibling.

The whole thing with making sure Lu Xi had to have his watermelon milk, just emphasized how younger he is from the 3 other characters.

I think Chian will stop this behavior for now as in the end he saw that Bua is still with Moo but even if he saw…
Chian will try and stop himself from continuing to be on the "hook" with Bua, but I think he'll feel it's too late, when he sees Fou4Mod with Baabin. He'll remember that he was the one who told Fou4Mod to not publicly post that he was now with him. He's been the one putting on the breaks in starting a relationship with him, because he's been an "ass" holding onto the impossible with Bua.

Bua has probably hung out at Chian's place more than once, but this time, I think that Chian was expecting a different outcome. He thought that Bua really missed being around him, because he kept away from him for a couple of days. Bua just missed the attention that he got from Chian. Once everything was back to order again, Bua called Moo.

Chian knew that he put himself right back on Bua's hook.

I noticed people complain about the "lack of plot" in this series. And that's actually kinda interesting, because…
"We're so used to seeing all of these, that this story of simply falling in love or crushing on someone at school might seem very empty. As if we ourselves didn't go through that at some point in our lives."

The plot of this particular series, is pretty simple: young gay high school boys dealing with the ups and downs of friendship, love, desire, romance, and heartbreak, without having to deal with society, or their parents telling them to not pursue whom their heart desires.

Thanks for providing the link. I still think it is sad, that the producers felt it was needed to not include these characters being able to reunite within the episodes of the series run.

These production companies can only do so much of what is allowed under Chinese rules.

So far, I hate Bua. But my past is full of Buas.I’m angry with Chian. But my past is full of Chians. I’m frustrated…
That person in Chian's friend group probably got calls from him, trying to figure out why Bua wouldn't return his feelings.

Each of his friends have already told him that Bua doesn't like him in "that way", and advised him to stop hanging out with him.

When Chian saw Bua's Instagram message, after his amazing date with Fou4Mod, I immediately saw him shut any possibility of him continuing to open himself up to more with Fou4Mod.

The heart is a tricky SOB.

I am thinking about the lunch vendor ladies getting their daily dose of teenage soap opera drama with all of these kids. 😂 😂

Excuse me for asking this question here: Is what happened in the storyline of Kotoha's childhood sexual abuse by her Mom not being termed abuse due to them both being of the same gender actually something that used to happen in Japan?

For those saying Fugisawa didn't get punished enough for the rape, although I do actually agree, he really did…
"He chose to come from a place of empathy and forgive Fugisawa for the decisions made, and to help him also move on, but this conversation was effectively a goodbye."

Exactly. Just like how folks saw how it had to be Kazuaki to officially end his relationship with Kaori, so that they both could truly move on from each other.

Sei and Kazuaki had to be the ones to make clear breaks with their past situations, so that they could move forward in their futures.

"If the parents don’t die horribly in a car accident, how could BL as a genre exist?"

😂 😂 😂

The sad fact that is so true. One of the BL commandments that is universal, no matter what country the series is produced from.

"I realised Sei apologised to Fujisawa because he felt he was to be blame. That some of the faults was his for cheating, but I’m still so angry, because he did not deserve what happened to him, and he did not have to rationalised that whole event at all. But then again, sometimes we are so close to the problem we don’t see it ourselves, and as outsiders it’s very easy to blame the victim. Still, I wished I was inside the screen, so I could shake him until he came to his senses."

I was pissed at Sei apologizing to him as well, but I agree. He does place blame on himself for some of Fuji's behavior, especially in him "cheating" on his roommate and Fuji's ultimate act of assault and betrayal of Sei. They weren't lovers, and at that point, were barely friends. I wish that Sei could have had more anger towards Fuji, but it wouldn't have made him feel better for expressing that anger. I think he just felt the need to give Fuji some blessings, so that he could fully move on from his need to "tak care of/provide for" Sei.

What I truly hope, is that Sei will never, ever allow Fuji back into his life again. Their "friendship" is truly over.

But folks wanted to get background on Fuji's behavior.
I second that there could have been more episodes, but this production company was funded for 7 of them. Maybe in the future, we might get a special episode, but I am fine with the finale and new beginning for Sei and Kazuaki.
