Kaori finally realized that Kazuaki started to understand that their relationship had changed into something of convenience for her, and he wasn't going to continue lying to himself about it anymore.

Everytime she would find Kazuaki lost in his thoughts or looking at her with confusion.

She was keeping this public facade of being in this "solid" and "loving" relationship with Kazuaki to their friends and her family.

I truly hope that Kazuaki finally ends his relationship with Kaori for good. Not because I want him to end up with Sei.

I just think that if Kaori and Kazuaki continue on in this way, and get married, their future lives will become even more miserable with resentment, frustration, and envy that they allowed themselves to "settle" for someone they're not in love with anymore.

Well, things sort of worked out for Pie, and Boss's still homophopic and abusive dad.

They have Boss still willing to associate with them, while he doesn't have Euro in his life anymore.

Also, that Boss's abusive father can literally kidnap and assault Euro, and nobody thinks to call the police on him.

I just don't think that certain viewers are prepared to see BLs like this one. They cannot wrap their minds about what's being shown, and discussed, because it's usually focused on the 1) visuals of the performers and 2) the hotness factor.

"He is a people pleaser, he doesn't confront his girlfriend, come-clean as you pointed out because he is terrified, afraid of revealing anything to his emotionally manipulative girlfriend, like any victim of gaslighting will be. But I agree he does need to have a very real confrontation with his girlfriend. But red flag behavior?? NO. That's exactly how a VICTIM in an abusive relationship acts!!!"

I feel that certain viewers are thrown off in not wanting to understand the issues and situations that both Kazuaki and Sei are dealing with in their current relationships with Kaori and Fuji, to the point that they need to place blame on Sei and Kazuaki for staying in those situations.

As a "man", Kazuaki should have demanded that Kaori provided for his sexual needs, because that's what all males do right?

Even in Sei's situation, certain folks considered him just asking Fuji to masterbate in front of him as an act of force.

Sei never "forced" sex upon Fuji. He asked Fuji to masterbate and Fuji said no. Didn't Fuji also say that he didn't like it when Sei would bring up things like that?

So, again Sei has tried to get Fuji to discuss their issues, by bringing up the subject. Fuji is the one that continues to deflect and push off what has been one of the very many issues that keeps their situation from changing.

Fuji doesn't want to let go of Sei, even though it's not healhy for him nor Fuji.

They are both not at ease nor comfortable with one another.

Fuji behaves as if anyone is in contact wih Sei, that he will be taken from him.

While Sei feels like he has to give in to Fuji's wants all the time.

I can't have a TV.

I can't smell like I have been out at the bar.

There's no sense of trust or ease within their situation and that's not okay.

What sort of loving friendship or even a romantic relationship is that controlling, when there is no communication, and absolutely no trust?

Because they don’t want to feel bad for "supporting cheating".

Kazuaki wasn't at all smiling, enjoying that he "got away" in having his night and morning with Sei.

He's literally torn over his newly discovered feelings, need, desire, and love for Sei.

This desire to want to describe characters as "red flags" and "green flags" is for romantic comedies. This isn't that type of series.

Agreed. Too much benefit of the doubt from me.

This whole "he suddenly became violent" discussion is exactly why Sei hasn't left Fuji in the first place. Sei didn't see anything wrong in how Fuji has been emotionally and mentally manipulating him, to the point that he believes that he's "dirty and wrong" for wanting something different in his life. It's sad that abuse has to be physically violent in order for it to be seen/described as abuse.

I am definitely going to enjoy this series.

I think that for some viewers, they seem to feel the need to try and see the "other side" in the actions of Kaori and Fuji for two things:

Kaori's a woman.
Fuji's a hot looking man.

Agreed. Kazuaki and Sei, inadvertently started to notice one another AND flirt with each other at the office, BEFORE they realized that there were each other's online pen pal. That one mistaken email, allowed themselves to open up to one another about the situation in their own personal relationships.

Their emotional and mental connection was established, way before the sexual attraction started to develop. They both had to allow it to happen, because that night and day in the hotel would have never happened, if both Sei and Kazuaki had never continued their online interactions.

I think that Sei knew that he's been lonely, even while having his "friendship" with Fuji, but Kazuaki never realized that he too has been very lonely, while being in his relationship with Kaori.

I don't think that Kazuaki ever even thought that he could be attracted towards another man, but he found a connection with Sei, and he doesn't want to lose him.

Kaori probably didn't even realize that she still had Kazuaki's phone with her as she left the house. In absolute shock that he could have actually had sex with someone else, especially someone that she never expected him to be attracted towards before in the time she's known him

Thank you for making me unintentionally laugh this morning. I had the same thoughts about Lu Xi's not at all surprised reaction regarding Lu Hui's romantic feelings for Yu Xing.

I guess we'll find out that Yu Xing and Lu Hui made some sort of "pinky promise" to one another as children, so that's why they reconnected later on.
