So I think this episode (6) showed me what’s bugging me the most. There are too many storylines going on at once that there isn’t enough time on each episode to get anywhere with any of them.
Obviously main couple take up the most time. Second couple feels complicated and slowly drawn out. We still don’t know what happened to his memory. Teased that for 2 episodes now.
Then you have the school friends, who I don’t mind but they aren’t in it enough to justify a possible 3rd couple when one of them seems obsessed with lead male.
Then there is the nightclubs and Jay happening. I haven’t read the books so I don’t know what’s meant to be happening.
I love the actors, I like the show, I just don’t feel it’s moving along with any of the many storylines.
this is one of those CP gladly accepting them breaking up. Boys has too many issues, and it was indeed wrong for…
This is the first series where I felt the Main couple’s chemistry was great to start with, but then even before the major issues arose between them , it started to wane. I’m also thinking for the first time if the main couple don’t end up together I’d be ok with it. However I’m sure they probably will, but they need to do some serious work for the last 4 episodes for this to be believable.
The difference is probably in what some people think is "lighthearted". I, and some other people, don't find Lian…
That house has been in far too many series. 4 that I know of. I’m sure there is more. Every time I see the stairs I’m like there’s that house again lol.
I do hope we see more progression with Lian as well. We are halfway through so hopefully now they may explain more about his demeanour and intentions. He certainly wasn’t showing any romantic interest until the drunk Incident. I have faith they will cover this, if not it will be disappointing.

I totally get what you mean. I don’t find it funny when I say lighthearted. Perhaps i used the wrong word.
In regards to this series and others I do not like the toxic parts like attempted rape or non consent / drunk scenes. Although we know these couples will end up together it’s not a good example to young people that this is ok because you might end up with the person. (I am an older viewer, so I probably forget how this can make younger people think it’s ok, where as I fully know what is crossing a line and would not accept toxic behaviour)
I have also not read the novel to any series so I don’t know the changes they make for the series of these shows.
Not everyone will like every series. Personally I am enjoying it and it’s an easy watch. I try not to take things too seriously when watching something. There has been so many bad series the past year or two.
I love all the actors. I can see why some people would have issues with this but sometimes just relax and enjoy a lighthearted series. Great actors, cinematography and music.
I was unsure how to rate this one. I went with 8.5.
If it was based on acting alone it would be a 10 for sure. It did hold my interest but I guess when we got to the point where we knew what happened it was just a waiting game for them to finish it up.
Was hoping for a possible slight romance with the butcher shop lady and Inspector Han, but that’s just my personal taste. I think Vincenzo managed the romance with the action / violence quite well.
I wasn't a big fan of Why R U other than Saifah and Zons storyline, Fighter and Tutor just didn't work for me…
I couldn’t get into Dew and Blue because of the massive age gap in real life. But now that Nat is older than Why R U I’ve enjoyed them being paired in more recent shows.
Solid start. I like that it’s different. Believable? No. But who cares, it’s entertainment. Kuea character is very interesting with the dual personality plot. Thank goodness though because a whole series of the fake Annabelle doll would be too much cringe.
Also can we ever get too much Max / Nat? Hell no, Nat is so freaking adorable.

Problem is that one has a lot longer to go. I may try and hold out a little longer, but it sounds interesting.

Oh well I guess I’ll start Business Proposal and do the same lol.

It’s hard when you have so many you want to watch and so little time lol.
Will be sad when this is over. I love everything about it, especially the cast.
Not sure I’d want a season 2. I feel shows make a mistake of doing that to please the fans or make money and it rarely ever is as good as season 1.
Wouldn’t complain of a different series with the same cast though :)
It was easy to watch, the ending left a few too many questions for my liking. I guess you decide what happens after the last scene.
Not a waste of time. Just too much time.
Still enjoyed the first episode though.
