Sadly enough, the only thing that is not a complete mess in this show right now is the male lead trauma and healing…
His perception of a family is quite warped thanks to the bro and now the dad which makes the brothers moves that much worse. At least he knows, has seen, and has felt that the short cohabitation time he's experienced with this girl has been 100x better than anything he's experienced. But if he's going to equate family happiness with this girl as the requirement, than he should be alone for the time being?
Good lord..........when ppl start crying about age gaps, skip and ignore. 🙄It's stupid. Fictional drama made for entertainment ppl, lemme stress this point. FICTIONAL DRAMA MADE FOR ENTERTAINMENT.
And yes, comments pointing out PMYs current appearance? Agreed. There's a difference between slender and skinny and she's skinny. She looks sickly and unattractive and it highlights in detail the work she's done to her face. Walking billboard for Korean plastic. Actually, a looot of them are getting face work done and I'm completely at a loss as to why? This can't be the current standards for beauty is it? Why are they doing this?
Anyways, she's got her reasons and explanations down, of course, but it's not the first time it's been pointed out and it won't be the last. I saw remarks saying this weight nonsense pops up before her dramas are set to debut and yea, now that I think about it, they're absolutely right. Good to get ppl thinking about the show~
I find it scary, water and lettuce, this could actually be her routine, her lifestyle. But think about it, we're slowly being brainwashed into thinking of this as her norm. This lady's high profile, if this is her normal, what could others be doing in order to get the opportunities and a shred of the kind of spotlight she currently entertains? 😬
Yea, let's not rinse and repeat the bs the dramas full of. 2nd straight drama this FLs been in where she's being presented with options despite being FAR from worthy of them~ The only thing I'ma toss out there is the nonsense with the broken relationship the brothers had. That's not a credible trope to use anymore at all for family and friends because it's lost time that can NEVER be recovered. Young adults and kids pick up and comprehend things faster than ever and older bro could've brought him up to speed yrs ago and it would've been fine. Laziness on his part. My resentment would've been just as strong, if not stronger, after finding out the truth~
This brought to mind an episode in an older long running series now concluded of an American drama called Bones. The FL had 2 guys in the beginning. A 'hot' guy to satisfy physical needs and an another guy to satisfy her intelligent needs for stimulating conversation. In her eyes, both dudes lacked in the other department lol. Just an FYI I'm throwing out, thought it was amusing~ 2 eps in and I've no opinions just yet, let's see some more first~
People who dislike triangles, stay away from this show and stop complaining about it. I also don’t comment on…
Lol............you do realize there's a good chance you're going to see many many MANY posts and review bombs out of spite just for bringing it up? This MDL after all~
It’s funny because people started pointing out the weak chemistry and lack of storyline just two episodes in,…
Whew. Your first two paragraphs could not have been written much better. On point. Especially the policing parts. 🤣Also, this actress has a very unique style making her acting persona one you will either love or hate. There's no in between and no changes in performances as she shifts from drama to drama. It's why comments have either been favorable or deplorable. Good or bad........I don't have anything else to say about this piece. If people have lasted long enough and reached this point, you've more or less come to your own conclusion by now~
there's more hate towards fls with multiple love interests than there is towards serial killers it's so funny…
Bloody Flower ML was a tough trolley though. Maybe even more so then the issue that the drama Trolley was over. He could potentially save large #'s ppl with his blood...........but he murdered a looooot of ppl to do it. Broke the law. I was hard pressed with both because of the potential they could both do in the future. But they both broke the law. Repetitive circle w/o a break lol. Bloody Flower ML was a criminal though. What would I have done? 😬😬😬 No comment!! Beloved Thief I did not watch, I just had no interest in it~
Is this guy the dad or just a burglar playing pretend dad from a hunch? Look at what he's been doing. Rummaging around everywhere in the complex. Even if he's the actual dad, he looks like he might have seen his son being brought up on that interview as successful and probably came to get a chunk of money. FL forcing ML to forgive this dude warrants a 👊🏽 because these guys are simping for someone who doesn't warrant that kind of attention at this junction but will continues to do so and listen to w/e she says in the hopes that she will choose them. Idk if she's aware of that advantage but that's what I see and it's not cool. The kid is the farthest thing from her mind.
8 episodes means that things need to develop quickly with knowledge and backstories and jump right into it. It can be done but it's not easy~
I was suspect after ep1 and not feeling much better after ep2. I wanted to see this dude. His character being disillusioned with love is understandable to many when it involves being cheated on. So you automatically root for him. But a cold icy boss that needs to melted? I am absolutely tired and fed up with that trope. With all the dramas most of us take in, I guarantee this is something you're getting every week, it's in two of my others. So starting another one might not be fair to this one, I know this ppl. But it automatically gives me a bad vibe right from the start~ I watched 3 and I can't do it. I'm disappointed I can't get past what is a clear bias towards this piece, I can admit that. So maybe I'll come back to it~ Last for now is I also saw comments with remarks about how the drama looks cheap and gaudy. That's something I ignore and others might want to do the same once in awhile. There are diamonds in the rough I've seen pulled from the trenches in pieces like this. I don't think that's the case here but it's something ppl should keep in the back of their minds~
Kind of rare when the community seems to be on the same page~ I'm drawing too many parallels with Crushology, which was FLs previous drama, and I didn't like it at all. We got 2 prime males here simping for a girl that doesn't really warrant that kind of attention. She's pretty and cute but still unremarkable. The familiarity with the boss being an ex and the to living arrangement with the BIL has given her a huge advantage most women in her situation will not have~ And say what you will, I'm not an AH for throwing this out there because it's the truth..........but the categories these two are in? It's not often they will step in and pursue a woman with a child. Yet she's got 2 to of them. Men can be AHs, these women get taken advantage of most of the time, so the fact that she's stringing 2 of them who are genuine along is quite vexing~ My last gripe is that this pair isn't taking care of this kid. They're caught up in relationship drama with the kid being an afterthought. This is a piece that I thought was supposed to be about the kid, not this other bs. All this is happening over what..........a month or two? 8/12.......if you've reached this point, may as well finish the entirety of it. But I am disappointed~
Apologies. I'm a little bit confused on the wording here. What's the question?
Oooo......🤔 I don't think she pushed him out. She wouldn't and couldn't. She was never going to put her foot down and tell her bf to make that choice. She did try with him to be patient at least. He was every bit the moody hormonal teenager meeting his 'father' for the first time and was clearly jealous. If the situation stayed on the path it was first on? I think she would have waited it out until the boy returned to Germany. And Dad was already ever so softly starting to point out that his behavior was becoming a problem. You could tell Daniel hadn't been raised in SK. Actually.....I thought SHE was the one who had temporarily been pushed out? His etiquette was was abysmal. When Daniel flat out said he didn't like her, she beat a quick retreat and wasn't going to force the issues anymore. Plan B was already being thought of. But ya, after he left she could be with her dude and try again on the boys next visit if they were still together~ That trashy mom though........whew. Luckily she came by and helped to ruin the situation herself~ Did you think that was a nightmare situation for Jun? I mean, she had barely let this guy into her life after not having been in a relationship for a long time. And after not having been around kids or teens really, she's bombarded with Daniel AND the ex? Rough stuff.
I've got real mixed feelings about this drama and its ending. I'll go drop a review. But as of now, I do not think this is/was good enough to warrant a second run.
'Hypocrisy through empowerment' point is just patriarchy repackaged- it's basically the pure perfect victim rhetoric.…
Yea that's true as well. When my wife and I were watching it, her theory was/is similar to yours. As in he probably was full on grey but with a shade of it on the lighter side with the innocents/locals around him due to his long years in Italy. Familiarity I think the word is? I mean, the residents in his building were innocents for the most part ya? He still didn't hesitate to put them in harms way if it served his purpose. Doing the tasks he required to the best of their ability coupled with the time spent getting to know them made him soften up eventually. But he still would've turned on them instantly if they crossed the internal line he had set within. He really was pretty bad. Ohhh......Actually........I just thought of something. I'm thinking he was worse than the villains. Can't remember his name offhand but he and the dancing attorney were kind of straight-laced when it came to getting rid of ppl. Guns, the charcoal bricks, doom trucks 🚚etc........that was their style. But Vincent? You saw firsthand what his Mafia style was about. Slow deaths through torture and pain for w/e reasons he's surmised.
