Reading "I sincerely apologize for taking up public resources" is quite sad if by that she means "healthcare" or loss of public ressources cause she was ill and unable to work (others don't care if you crash and burn as long as it doesn't affect them so put your health first) and regarding physical abuse, reading "I thought it was justified because my academic performance was poor" is quite horrifying.
Anyway I think she put it very well. and I hope she gets better.
NOOOOOOOOOO ! What do I do with myself now ? ! I'm crying and it's too sad (at best bittersweet). It was such a good show, beautiful visuals, costumes, sets and everything, good actors, nice plot, loveable characters. I guess the only weak spot was the real vilain but I think it's the first time I enjoyed a chinese drama that much. I'm gonna miss the characters !! I could watch another ten or twenty epsiodes of Yichen and Wenxiao bringing back Zhao YuanZhou and what's left of the team solving demon cases while trying to rebuilt themselves after all the death. The epilogue must me seen otherwise the end is too abrupt ans sad. The episode gives hope, I wonder why it wasn't included in the final epsiode.
It would ! Especially now given how many of us or waiting for it ! Ok Taecyon in a BL drama ?! That I didn't expect ! Korea is doing more and more nicely produced bl drama, with good acting and story it's so nice. 5 years ago they barely existed !
I agree. Sadly, China HATES lgbt. Since it's adapted from a danmei maybe it was just censored because of that. And if two men look too close then they have to separate at the end or one has to die. And if it's openly BL and still manage to air, or if it's recognized by fans has BL - even though there is nothing explicit (no hugs, no kisss etc), sometimes the actors aren't even allowed to act together anymore. A danmei author (I don't remember which) was sentenced to 10 years of jail for writing gay erotic fiction.
It's also because of censorship that a character that did something bad (like, killed people) usually dies by the end, even if he had good reasons (like being possessed).
Now that's a(nother) problem. On one hand no evidences so not found guilty. On another I tend to always believe the victim in SA cases, except if there are very strong proof against the accusation, but "lack of proof" isn't strong enough to change my mind. Those cases are always "lack of proof" or "the victim went back of their words". So fishy. So if he is guilty of SA (and being on drugs, drunk, mentally ill or whatever is no excuses or explanations since someone was harmed) he should be sentenced and failed for that.
How sad. The guy was in pain (didn't he had a bone tumor before?), couldn't sleep and was working in a field that doesn't not helps with mental health and he became an addict like many others before. The only one he hurt was himself. Prison will not help him with addiction, depression, insomnia or grief, they are burying him. I hope he gets better.

I don’t think even in 10 years, I would forget it 🥲
And then edits mixing the audio drama and extracts from Chen Fei Yu and Luo Yun Xi dramas add a whole new layer of confusion : did I read it in the novel ? in the manhua ? was it from the bts ? an edit ? It's not from the actual series that's for sure though *cry-laughing*
I don’t think even in 10 years, I would forget it 🥲
Yeah ! Between the novel and the leaks, you can see it in your head, but in fact you didn't and you're not sure you'll ever will. Which would be suh a shame. Imo Luo Yun Xin is perfect for CWN. Imagine having the perfcet actor for it, having filmed it all and... not airing it. The waste !

The worst thing about not seeing Immortality yet is that when you see all the photos on set, the leads' chemistry seems so good and the scenes intense. I wanna see it so bad D:
One day in 10, maybe 20 years old, I'd have build a whole different life, with whole different priorities, I'd have forgotten about Immortality. Hopefully China would have changed for the better and stopped that senseless censorship. And, somehow, I will stumble upon this drama, discover it has just been released, I'll binge watch it and it will make my month. Unless it sucks. (in April it will be the 4 years anniversary of its filming)
Watched the 4 episodes out and I'm enjoying it so much ! Love the characters and the vibe. It's been a while since a drama gave me butterflies like that :D
No matter how or why he died so young, it is tragic and heartbreaking. But the idea he may have ended his own life because of the kpop industry makes me so angry. In 2017 Shinee's Kim Jonghyun took his own life (at least partly) because of it. He wasn't the first one to do so, nor the last sadly. It was six years ago. Six years, and nothing changed ?! They work so hard and gives fans so much of themselves but their work environment is still toxic enough to push them to this ? This enrages me. And I can't even begin to wrap my head around how he must have felt and how his loved ones feel now. I have no words. It's simply awful. I hope he is in peace now.
