I see that she left everyone to die without trying to fight back.
And whith her suicide she didnt save a single person reather she put everyone in a more desperate situation than before showing her weakness and stupidity in doing so.

I see and value reality,
you want to see and value intention.

You have your own interpretation, i have mine.
You have a superficial way to look at it.

She WANTED her power back.
She repeated it again and again.
But she had no strenght and no intelligence to take it back.
So ml had to do her work in her place because she was not up

If you want to justify her weakness and stupidity by saying that because she didnt directly ask for it then she is not weak and stupid, be free to do so.

For the fl to go in MF and do some little thinghs there is really the least she can do to make herelfa little usefull.

And about the empress... fl as the empress DIED!!!
Now she IS a fairy! She is NOT SETTLING for it.

The only reason for her to still have the title of the empress is because ml took her power back for her, ok?
And she made even this other sacrifice of him useless because now with her power (that was useless, even harmful in the last battle) ​she dont want to take any responsability despise all the pain it took for the ml to bring that back to her. So again she places her responsibilities on others and let them do the work that she shoud do!
She is selfish and irresponsabile!
But let's stop here. Obliviously you have a more superficial way to look at this, while i see it in a more objective, and realistic way. Different interpretation and that is it.

Those are all speculation, no more true than mine.
Try to only look at what she do, not what it was, or what will be.
Now in the present of that moment she has no way to know what will happend to ml or her clan.
She left them in a dire situation when she could have tryied to fight back.
She could have killed herself any time!
Why not try everything before that?
That is why she is stupid and weak....but if you prefer to see fl kill herself as fast as she could and find meaningless suicide brave...be my guest, i suppose...
Screenwriter created such a scene for sofisticated(or more superficial) viewers like you to like, humble myself prefer a more plausible, meaningfull and logic interpretation of it.

He was in red, so i forgot he was Xiao Shun Yao, i thought he was DFS at first sight🤣🤣

How could her death save the world? Or realm in this case? Or her love?
She clearly state that she jump to take the twin power with her, and that is all.
There is still a villan that has all his own power to defeat. And only the ml that was already hurt to face it.
And after her death?
In what state she think ml would be reduced after her death?
She throught he could have fight and win alone?
How could she even have know that the ml would have SURVIVED after her death?
There was no way for her to know anything.

That is why i say it would have make more sense to stay and try to fight togheter with the ml at last one time before jumping!
But the moments ml come she jump! And that was stupid and cruel.
She didnt save anyone by killing herself that time too, rather by doing that she weakened the ml so much to let the bad guy take advantage of him.
She didnt know about the spell, but she didnt even know that after ger death the ml would have survived the fight or her clan would have survived, or the whole world! She just jumped, taking the twin power with her and didnt care about the aftermath or the possible consequences of her action. Cruel.

Ml put a spell on her, he take 90% of her damage on himself so when she jumped that is what was supposed to happend. She didnt save her clan nor ml with her jump. She clarly state that she only did it to take her sister power with her.
And that was stupid because the villan has still his own power and ml is now alone, hurt and (because of her) deserate and too weak to face him.
So because of her jump Ml was greatly hurt, again. And his brother could erase his memory so he could use him. She greatly hurt everyone with only one stupid decision.

She balantly killed herself in human form in the 5th?lifetime, withouth any care, because she knew she would just return to heavenly realm. That arrow in the 3rd?lifetime was really no sacrifice at all. And that is it.

He ONLY kill himself to save her or help her. That make him noble,selfless and brave.
She kill herself meaningless! That make her stupid, weak and coward.
SHE NEVER SAVED HIM OR ANYONELSE WITH HER DEATH!!!!(arrow aside where she only save 1 human form of 1 lifetime and that is it!!!)
This is one single normal standard!

He is doing all her work in her place.

I think that it would have been incredibly romantic instead to see the 2 of them working togheter on the same level. Instead of letting the ml do all the work and the sacrifice.
And yes, she is weak and stupid because she killed herself 3 time withouth any reason! WITHOUT ANY REASON!! She DIDNT saved him or anyonelse with those suicide!!!
And by taking the arrow she just saved his human form in 1 lifetime!

The ml is smart and noble because he ONLY kill himself with a purpose!!! That is always only to save the fl!! Always and only for that!!!!
His death are never useless!!
When he is the shifu he sacrifice himself to save the fl human form of that lifetime, and she ruin everything by killing herself!
BUT that time he ALSO heal her fairy primordial spirit by DESTROYING HIS!!!!
He save her 2 time in a row by willingly sacrificing himself!!!Noble and brave!!!!
When he is killed by the arrow in the heavenly real he only did it so he could go unnoticed in MF and again help fl by doing her work in her place!!Smart and selfless!
In the end he is killed only to save fl life, again!! His sacrifice are never useless! Hers are! Everytime there was no reason for her to die! She just did it pointlessly!!!!
That is what make her stupid and ml smart and noble!!!!

I do not undestand how can someone consider usefull or brave! a character that barely do something...so passive.

But you know what? Maybe i understood. The ml is just too perfect. Too smart, too brave, too good, too selfless. He do just too much for the fl. So everything the fl do isnt really much in comparison. I should stop put her on the same level of him otherwise i will never see any worth in her normality.

Ok, let's be clear. She is not brave. At least not in that situation (about the arrow) . Because she knew to have a "real live" after that death.
It is a romance drama so probably she would have taken the arrow for him even if she didnt have another live but she DID NOT! Because in the drama, in this situation, SHE KNEW TO HAVE ANOTHER LIFE to wait for her, hence she is not brave there!!!

About the Shifu/discipline life.
In that life ml knew about theyr "connection". If one willingly sacrifice himself for the other in the human world, the primordial spirit of the one that sacrifice himself is damaged.
Knowing that, he sacrificed himself!
Knowing that, he damaged his primordial spirit to save her!!!
He did not only give his human live to save her, he damaged his "real life" for her!!!
Him! The god of war! That put the safety of the realms before everythingelse and was ready to do everything to regain his strengh, so to protect the realms...he sacrificed his primordial spirit for her!!!
He not only sacrificed his human life as shifu for her, he willingly damaged his primordial spirit!!! His primordial spirit!!!
As you said, he could have just waited to die togheter in the human world, so no sacrifice, no damage for any of them.
But he decided to sacrifice his human life, HIS HUMAN LIFE! so she could live her full life as a human in this lifetime. But she made his sacrifice a waste by killing herself...so weak, cowardly and annoying
Then by doing this he also willingly DAMAGED HIS PRIMORDIAL SPIRIT for her!!!!
This goes far beyond being simply brave or selfless! He is fantastic!

I know that nothing happened, because he took 90% of her damage and pass out after his brother erased his memory. But she didnt know that!! She just left him to battle alone, weak, hurt and in desperation for her loss!
Her suicide was pointless because the power of the twin could have opposed each other on the same level, so the battle would have been on par. So there was no need for her to kill herself!!But she did and started all this mess, this loop. That is why i say that it was a stupid useless suicide!

I like theyr hug there too it was so sweet when they run toward each other. And also well played by the actor.
But i still couldnt enjoy it in full for the annoyance of what just happend.😔
Anyway this happened in the princess /general life while i was
talking about the live where she killed herself from the cliff. She should have lived after he died to save her.
But for what it matter, yes. She should have lived alone as a princess in that live too because the ml tryied to survive as a general with all his strenght so she should have done the same instead of cowardly and comfortably kill herself in that patetic way....

For you is brave that the fl follow the ml that put himself in mortal danger to take HER power back in HER place...
I say that that is really the less she can do to not be desplicable.
It is her power, she should have taken that back herself or at least SHE should have found a way to do that, make a plan, Instead of letting the smart, brave ml do everything.

And for the hairpin? I dont know. They really made it sound so risky to be there, it was so worrisome.
But then, it was just so anticlimatic to see her just hide behind a tree(or a house?) to not be found out by all those guard.🤣
And I also trought that it was so risky to use it because it was 1 use only, so when she took that off she seems to be so brave but then ....she just put it on again to not be seen.....like wtf?!?!?!🤣Very convenient!!
That whole scene seems to be everything but brave!😂

Without the twins power we still have an hurt ml that was forced to fight the villan full power while dealing with the desperation of losing his loved one right before his eyes.
Smart move to leave him alone to fight in that condition....
If instead of jumping she fought togheter with the ml they could have had more chance to win vs the villan.
Because even with the twin power on BOTH SIDE at least the ml would have fought vs the villan with his normal mind and not mentally hurt by her suicide.

I am not saying that she was weak in that particular moment (when she took the arrow). She just was not brave because she knew her "original" life was waiting for her after that. So no problem or real sacrifice in dying.

About the cure on the muntain. That was stupidity, not weakness.
Fls always have good intention but seems to never have the smartness to get what they said to want. She want to help him? Good. But if she die she cant help him, so she should keep herself alive to give him the cure. A normal person would undestand this much. But no, without considering an actual smart way for her to succed, she just blindly jump in to the danger, forcing the ml to save her again. Risking his own life for her, again.
There she wasnt sacrificing herself to save him, 'couse her death wouldnt have bring him anything good.
She just acted like a child that doesnt undestand what she is facing or the consequences of her action.
They want to make her look naive but when naiveness is too much in an adult it just become plain and simple stupidity.

Then beside that, I think that to kill yourself after your partner die to save you is weakness. Yes.
It was tragic to see ml die, that was the best part. There was no need to see her jump after what he did for her. And even after the promise she made to him, but apparently she never need to keep her promises. Theyr couple promises are only meant for the ml to be kept.
I would have prefered to see her live her live like ml did in his previous life. Facing the pain but keeping her promise to him, honoring him by doing something worty her life that was saved by him at the cost of his. That would have been brave. But no...easier to just kill yourself on the spot and never mention you breaking your promises so easly.
