Of course, anyone has their opinions. I dont know the actress personality, I only know what i saw here, in this drama, and i found her acting skill lacking. Not too bad, but surely not good either.

I dont want an intimate kiss, a soft one is perfect. It is just that she look sooo rigid and fake while doing that! She should have been just more natural and relaxed, that is all!
And i really like the female character, she is a new kind that care and protect her ml instead of always mistreating him. But the actress that play her?....She can defnitly do better, maybe she just need some experience.
For example NH has improved a lot from LT2, and here he was great. But ZY? She is really... not that much.

This drama deserve a 9/10 only for the HE.
I am really sick tired of BE or unsatisfying, incomplete OE.
Even if here a little explanation of what just happened wouldnt have hurt.

I have to say that this drama was really good.
Neo Hou is handsome, he should do more costume/fantasy drama. And he really suits the role of the extremely good guy.
I really love the fl character too, i mean, in thousands and thousands and thousands of drama i have seen, this is the only fl that care and understand the ml!!! The 1st!!!! It is always the other way around, but here, they undestand and took care of each other!!!Wow!!! New and refreshing!!!
Just one thing i didnt like....the main actress, she is terrible.
The character give her some charm, and you can see that in some scene she really try but aside from a couple of moments she was really bad.
Expecially in the kissing scene. There are more hugs than kiss, even when a kiss would have suited the moment more but maybe it was better like this because the actress is a good hugger, you can see that she really thighten her arms around him, not just a light touch like i always see in those drama.
But when she kiss, she look like a child forced to kiss the sister for a photo, and he have to bear the pain and embarassment hoping it will pass fast.
Neo Hou on the other side seems to really try to give her a decent kiss. You can see that he move a little his lips but, i can undestand, if he is the only one that kiss propely while she act like a petrified,. embarassed , unwilling child, he would look like a pervert, so if she doest react he doesnt have other choice but to stay still and let the "romantic" kiss pass. It was really awkard to see that. It can be noticed even more in some BTS about theyr kiss where she is very reluctant and distant.
But aside from this annoying thing the drama is really, really good,the ost, the costume, the story, the characters. This drama can be enjoyed even only to see innocent iper-good Neo Hou in coustume with dragon horn! So adorable and lovely!!!😍

Good to know, i read the discussion so i know what he say in the longer version. But i really do not undestand how him saying that "if she were to fall in love with someone else, he’d willingly remove his scales and turn them into the armour that will protect them", can be touching 🤔
I absolutly prefer the normal version, without this non-sensical rambling, I mean, at this point it sound almost offensive to think that she do not love him and may love someonelse, even if she is reborn or if she will not have her memory anymore. This ml is already the personification of the goodness, there is really no need to make him more selfless of what he already is because it is not possible.😐

Fl of this kind of drama only think of themself.
She barely care for the ml, you wanna make her care for 2ml too? She will fall out of character if she do that.
Too much work for the production to create a woman with normal intellect and a normal sense of emphaty. Also too bland.
Better and simpler to stick with the classic "selfish, dumb, useless, childish fl", work also better for creating misunderstanding.

That was the most sad scene of all the drama!!! And the music!!And the poor weak and hurt LLH that take the flute with him while slowly, unsteadly walking away!!!😭
