This team really enjoys throwing us red herrings:) Now that I've seen Gun as B in action💥 I think the way he looked so noticeably scared in the first few eps must have been the direction for the role. So... either they changed the concept of the guys knowing about W mid-shoot… or they just planned for us to keep guessing from the first to the very last episode… At this point I've stopped assuming anything about the plot - just sitting back and enjoying the wallops out of left field;) This ep was really intense! I can't get over how incredibly heartbreaking that scene at the riverbank was, and it looked like it cost B emotionally too. Then the S/Namo scene was so beautifully symbolic ...and that preview at the end was like the cherry on the 'haha have a nice week ...not' cake of angst;) Plus the acting was so on point this week - especially Off at the riverbank and Gun talking with mother. I liked the mother btw. I agree with her on one point - taking down one guy won't bring about the change they want, just create a power vacuum that plenty of others would be only too glad to jump into.

I'm really curious how they're gonna play the relationship between the twins. Like do they need to 'relearn' each other or have instant insight into who they've become? Yes, I think W is unlikely to openly go against B - I predict some sneaking around;) But, as proven, I can't predict anything about the plot, so that's probably not gonna happen:D The twins were actually why I started watching this show - I love twisted family dynamics.
The slap doesn't bother me anymore since I had a thought that maybe B slapped himself too;))

"I think his feelings would have helped him, whether it's a good thing or not, move past it" I feel the same - W was so determined to reach out to S cause he saw the hurt deep in him, but he sometimes shows so little concern for himself, I'm torn if I should shake my head, or smile fondly… And you are right about S! I completely forgot he met Yok's mother then.

I've just noticed that there was a whole discussion about the choking below. That made me think, even if W wasn't traumatised by it (of course, first thing he did was ask about S's father instead of throwing a ***** or two;)), part of the viewers might have been, because of their experiences irl. My mom was campaigning for a law change to make non-fatal strangulation a criminal offense here, so I read up on it and am rather happy it carries a multi-year jail sentence now. Maybe, that's part of why my brain refuses to believe those two, cause it subconsciously thirsts for some kind of retribution.

Lol, I just had a disturbing thought - what if they did it like in C-dramas when an actor gets in trouble and put Gun's face on another actor's body… I'll leave you with that mental picture;)

Alright, thank you I have indeed watched the show from ep1. Now, are you certain you've read my comment? Maybe my memory is going… I actually thought I wrote an opinion about how surprising I, me, this person here, find certain plot developments in this series that I didn't see coming earlier. Of which one example is me missing the signs of Sean and White bonding emotionally on such a deep level in the first half of the show and still trying to recalibrate my brain to how fast they developed from what I thought was a 10 to a 100... Now, could you point out which part of my comment, made you believe I "hate on" the pairing, find them unhealthy, or claim their feelings sprung overnight? I'd like to correct that because I actually think none of these things.

Sigh, every week I plan to write about how much I enjoy this series and how far Sunday seems, and then this happens… I'm cursed;) Lol, if 'not me' didn't have this strong 'here and now' vibe I probably wouldn't have batten a single eyelash over half of it stuff.

1. I can confidently say that I saw none of what you described between S and Namo:D
Btw I think we all project our experiences on the characters to some extent. That's why I find DanYok so relatable cause I lived through a similar story:)

2. Lol I thought they might have showed him walking up earlier and getting in shape - not starving those poor actors:))

3. I only thought Dan's past would be more tied to his political art, so maybe more to do with corruption or impunity. But you're absolutely right - storywise and plotwise it makes perfect sense.

IMO often in unhealthy ways;) Maybe if they actually worked together and supported each other before, that deep trust wouldn't have felt so sudden to me… Meanwhile, W and Sean couldn't agree on anything, kept freaking bickering with each other while breaking and entering all through ep6, then one tried to choke the daylights out of the other at the end:D ...how did their trust grow from that one? Sorry if I feel a tad incredulous when W TELLS me he feels a soul deep connection, while I have a hard time piecing the same from the events that happened on screen.

I really like reading your comments - you always paint this story in such rich emotional tones. Alas, what can I do that I just interpret it differently. Maybe one day I'll rewatch and see all those missing pieces. Btw, I actually dislike the use of W's internal monologues as a plot device in this series. I'd much rather be convinced that they have a soul deep connection by watching the story unfold, than being told about it. Especially, when I find the narrator a tad unreliable;)
I like your take on Namo - she did play it cool with Sean - maybe she cried because she didn't realize earlier how much she cared, other than dashed hopes...

Lol don't we all know how forgiving W can be... I only hoped for him to assert himself more. I don't think it matters much how hard a slap is - its effects are mostly psychological. I know in other cultures it may not have that same undercurrent of humiliation as it has in mine - but paired with B calling him a moron... I just couldn't help but root for him showing some of that spunk he seemed to have gained over the months with the gang. Not that I wasn't tempted to call W a moron (repeatedly) over the course of this series, but not to his face;)

About the choking, W literally says at the end of ep6 that a second before he almost lost consciousness and was nearly dead because of Sean, he started to doubt if S would want to compensate the mission fail with his life - so he at least thought it was possible. Adding how much of a betrayal that was to Sean, it felt to me that any trust they might have built beforehand was fractured at that moment. If you binged this series, you probably would have a different experience than me stewing on that ending for a week;) So in your mind, if they had romantic feelings for each other at that time, would W be more or less likely to move past it? Btw I don't deny any of the feelings between them - only that as a viewer I feel a disconnect with how abruptly the story progressed from that fracturing of trust in ep6, through awkward interactions in ep7, to a sudden deep trust, emotional and physical intimacy in the following episodes.

I remember that scene about namo now - maybe that was subtitles fault, cause I thought he denied there being anything between them. They might have slept in one bed but no parts were touching - probably my pervy mind automatically translated it as platonic;)

As far as I remember Michael Schumacher lost 20+ kg in 2-3 months coma just saying;p and we did see that naked unblemished back of B's - did you miss it?:D

*Shrug* who isn't;) sorry, if it sounded that way to you - S/W do make a twisted sense to me - doesn't mean I'm gonna buy everything about their story:)

Sigh, I was so hoping for W to slap back. Seriously, that boy has to stop taking shit from people or at least call out crappy behaviour.
But this plot hurts my brain ...or I'm having a case of getting lost in translation. Cause I feel like every second ep sth comes at me out of left field. I was so shocked with Sean and Namo! they read as completely platonic to me before. I can't recall anything in either conversations or body language between them, that'd indicate romantic feelings?!
Also, I couldn't help but roll my eyes when W talked about a soul deep connection with Sean. Like, weren't you convinced that you're gonna die at his hands a couple days earlier? Did that blow to the head with a helmet give him amnesia... How exactly did he come by that infinite well of trust?
And then there's that instant coma recovery… though the reason for B waking up was really funny:) I mean it had to be at least 8-10 weeks right? And they still look identical? - no complications, no scarring, no weight loss?
Thankfully, Dan and Yok still make sense to me. Dan's story surprised me a little, because I thought he would've left the police if he'd killed someone. Still, I get his reasoning. I like that they have opposite views with yok, yet seem to complement each other. Unar's mural in this ep was pretty great. Gotta say ep7 is still my favourite by far:)

There are so many great stills online captured by people from the last two eps, it made me again appreciate the directing and cinematography. The camera stays so close to these guys, it really doesn't let us miss much. Maybe that's part of why people got so riled up about DanYok early on. Their interactions are full of extreme close-ups with such tight framing that you can't help but be drawn in and feel for them:) I'm really curious about the next series 'the forbidden' P'Nuchy is making with Josh Kim for hbo. I've just watched Josh's 'how to win at checkers (every time)' and liked how he kept the tension high throughout the film. Emotions + tension seems like a good recipe for a thriller.

You mean, as if he suspected the twins to be switching places with each other? That's a disturbing thought… That's not much of a proof though.They could just duplicate the marks on the other brother's hand. Lol I guess he got the leaning kissably close to check for contact lenses part right;)

Maybe people who watched this movie are just more objective in their ratings, than those who shower the popular dramas with 10s. I think 7.8 is a pretty high rating once you take it away from MDL context. This site has a weird algorithm that prioritises popularity and a lot of people who forget it's a 10* scale, not 5*. I've seen so many people bashing a show and then giving it 7 as a low rating. Then others rate everything they liked 10. I usually check the comments here, but the ratings on other sites.

I'd love to spend a day in Chai Jidan's head. She comes up with the wackiest stuff;)

I've no idea how their connection works - I claim creative license on that;) I'm not gonna defend my first post, I know how unlikely it is:) Still, B's a mystery, involved in sth dangerous, and the brothers haven't kept in touch. It's at least plausible to me that he'd think the end justifies the means.

The mother - I meant now, not 15 years ago. Sorry, but I feel like a lot of what you wrote is just guesswork. How do you know what B would do or how he feels? We and W barely know anything about who B is - the boys didn't keep in touch. And was it proven so far in the show that Todd lied about sth? I can't recall anything. Not saying your theory isn't right, just that mine would be more fun;)

Of course you can fake a coma ...on TV ..I'm sure a soap opera somewhere proved it. I'm not questioning that he got seriously beaten up, only the coma part

You forgot to add 'in my opinion';P I wrote the above as just a bit of fun. But if T, who everyone and their mother suspects from ep1, will indeed turn out to be it - I'd be majorly disappointed. I love how unpredictable this series is - I never know what to expect from next episode, let alone the ending:) So I do hope they have a better twist in store for us than that. My serious opinion is that we know so little about B's past, anyone can be a suspect:) We haven't even met the mother yet or know why they're estranged.

My theory is that B was never in a coma. I think he got beat up. Then together with Todd decided to bring W in to assume his identity - to keep the heat off himself and free him up to do whatever he was doing in the first place:) With Todd's connections they could've just bought off the hospital staff, etc. to dupe White. I do know it's incredibly far-fetched thank you:D But that's the only scenario I can come up with that would explain why only Todd seems to know about B's condition, there was no police inquiry which would've meant the gang got questioned, mother's disinterest, and why Todd didn't just use his money to hire a team of private investigators to solve the case - that is if the coma is a scam:) Wouldn't that be a good twist?
