This drama has a very simple plot but the thing fascinates me is its process is beyond perfect. I am a lover of book myself, poetry and arts that's why I love this drama even more. The million bonus is the cast golden acting especially PBG and SHK and their face profiles. Truly eye candies. I love how the PD made the flow of the story. The scenes are putting up little by little until climax. The cinematography is just fantastic. All sweeeeet moments are refreshing as in refreshing and makes my heart jumps out. This drama makes me remember the feeling of being in love bc of PBG excellent acting . The drama dialogues/quotes are all rich in life lessons that even now I save it and compile it. This drama makes me want to visit Korea again and go to the places where it has been shot. I learn so many things regarding literature since Jinhyuk is really an intelligent man same with Soohyun with arts. So heartwarming. It embraces my hearts and life. This is a drama that when you are sad just watch it then those sadness will throw outside the window just watching PBG and SHK aside from the eps 14, truly tear jerker. Amazing drama. I LOVE TO HAVE SEASON 2 or else another drama for PBG and SHK. To those bashing it with SJK's issue, please REAL is way way way different from REEL. Grow up, people. To those who did not enjoy, you just have not the intelligence to catch up with the class and beauty of this breathtaking drama. Peace.

My wait is long, my dream for you does not end - that's my unrequited love.

Surprisingly, I love everything in this drama. I didnt have the time to hate any scenes because they have their own complicated love story. I can relate to the story of these two. I had an unrequited love also when i was in HS until university and now that I already has a hubby that man that i loved silently has still a special place in my heart. It does not fade but i just treat it as happy feeling inside of me. My unrequited love.

Aside from Lou Zhi and Sheng Yuainan love story, Ge Bi and Baili story has also its bitter background. And it gives more comparison of how Baili and Lou Zhi are handling their relationships. At least in Baili story, she has became Gebi's female lead. This implies one's determination. Ofc, Zhang Mingrui story is telling us that there are really people in this world that's our buddy, just and only a friend,nothing else will emerge from that.
One thing I didnt like is the least time in the last episode. I just hope the couple have given at least to talk to each other. I mean more screen time. Or the drama makes a time jump that they are already a couple with kids, so on and so forth.

But over all the drama is so heart warming and dramatics. Plus this drama has so many life and love qoutes. I wrote down all the qoutes from Lou Zhi because I want to read it over and over again.

Plus the OST is so so so lovely. I love all the songs. These complement the drama so well. So this one is highly recommended. 9/10 for me.

Sincerety and kindness beat the devil in somebody

I lost counting how many times I watched this movie. I watched this in the year 2014 in Red Channel HBO where every C - and K-dramas have been shown.

What's important is its brilliant plot where the kindness and sincerity of the FL are showing: where the evil of greediness and cunning mind are shown n the 2nd ML ; where the true feeling is shown in the heart of ML.

The cast were all great. They delivered their acting on-pointly. I was impressed with their acting performance.

Plus the cinematography is so perfect. The lights; the cinematic color. I love watching movies and dramas with great cinematic color.

So gonna conclude this movie a very perfect one. Watch and rewatch!

PS: I started my admiration to Chen Xiao because of this movie. And started to believe Zhao Liying acting ability because of this. For Zhou Dong Yu - she has been my forever princess in C-Ent. I treasure her with Shawn Duo after I watched the movie Under the Hawthorn Tree.

You Can't Go Against The Fate, Just Be Kind With It

I watched this thru HBO Red Channel in 2012. After watching the whole movie I concluded that this movie is a masterpiece.
This movie tackles about the then unrest years in mainland China wc the government needed compulsory soldiers to fight with the civil war. As the story went on, the patriarch who is the good baker went to Taiwan to avoid the longer time in military. In this time, since he hadntjis problem with the government he couldnt go back to the family in MC so he stayed in Taiwan for many years, got married to another wife and got a daughter named JiaYi.

There were so many good scenes in the movie and I couldn't recall anymore but most of all I love the ending scene wherein the father came back to his hometown in China where he saw his wife, his son wc is little Jiawan and and the whole family (mother, father, sisters, as in all his family waiting for him in their front yard) If you watch closely as if everyone is real but it his spirit that just returned to. He died without being able to return to their house and without the chance to be able to see his family.

This is a nth degree tear jerker movie. The father didn't want to abandon his wife but forced to join the military. He couldnt back home to mainland China since there was political rift between China and Taiwan and his visa problem. The son and the daughter understood the situation better after so many times of disagreements and fighting.

I love this movie coz it reminds me of my mother's family's situation and experience. This is about family and how should we value our family.
