It's done??!!

I'm like in withdrawal right now. I can't believe it's over. Reply 1997, it was love at first watch. I loved this drama from the beginning and it never disappointed me. I eagerly awaited for episodes to be subbed and I waited impatiently. This last episode made me feel sooo nostalgic. Nostalgic for the 1997 storyline, nostalgic about my life, nostalgic about everything. It made me realize how fast time really flies and how I should cherish every second. I'm glad that Shi Won ended up with Yoon Jae. I really could see a lot of myself in Shi Won. I act exactly like her towards guys I like. I love the girl Tae Woong married, I wish the writers had made their story longer, because I thought that they are a cute couple. And Joon Hee...oooooo... who's your mystery guy... I bet it's Dongwoo :P Man I'm already missing this drama. One of the best endings to a drama.

Kawaiii!!

I really like this version better than the Korean one and its only 9 episodes which means there won't be a lot of meaningless scenes in it. First of all let me say the actress playing Shizuka is GORGEOUS!! I'm a girl and I seriously am falling for her. She's so pretty! I love the acting so far, its a lot better than the Korean version's acting. I also love the facial expressions of both Tsukasa and Tsukushi. I said it before but I love how they actually are going by the manga's/anime's storyline instead of adding useless scenes in it.

Funny and Cute!!

So I'm re=watching this drama because the first time I watched it I was pretty new to dramas and plus I just felt like re-watching it. But now that I have experience in the drama world I feel that I can appreciate this drama even more and also not just blindly believe it to be perfect. I'm able to see its flaws a bit more clearly, however the first episodes hardly had any except for the horrible english actors. I loved this episode so much! It was cute and funny. It also is a great episode which hooks you right into the drama. Lee Da Hae is super duper cute and funny and I find her adorable. Lee Dong Wook honestly should have kept his hairstyle like this. I feel that out of all the dramas he's done this is the one where he looks the hottest. Oh Lee Jun Ki, I can appreciate you and your acting more now because I actually have watched your other performances and have now realized how awesome you truly are. Overall this episode is cute and funny and will totally hook you into the ride called My Girl. :)

My Feels... They're all over the place!!

Ok so for a melodrama this is pretty good. I think I might have found a new genre to watch. SJK you blow me away at how good your acting skills are. I think Ma Roo is being sincere one moment but then the next moment will show him with a little smirk. I can't figure these characters out. It frustrates me but keeps me interested. I can't stand Jae Hee though, she's a fake b****. I hate girls like that so much. The whole time Ma Roo was with Jae Hee I was like GO AWAY NO ONE LIKES YOU. And when she fell in the ocean, I was shouting at Ma Roo to let her die.... Unfortunately he saves her... bless his poor naive broken heart. But Eun Ki, I can't tell whether she knows about Ma Roo or not. I mean she's smart and does do a ton of research on people, so she must have looked up Ma Roo... or did she. I DONT' KNOW!! GAH!!! I love how I can't predict this drama at all. Why the heck have I been watching cliche rom-coms.... well they're cute.. so.... but dramas like these are where it's at.

So Annoying At Times!!

Ahh!! I couldn't stand Panda in this episode at all. What happened to the cool girl who didn't like using other people's money and promised to pay it all back. She acts like a total spoiled princess in this episode. I liked her before, but her image was totally ruined in this episode. Hopefully she was only acting like that because that's what she thought dates were supposed to be like.

But Donghae!! His cute little actions are soooo cute!! Donghae and Won Yi(Choi Won lil' sis) are seriously the only reason I watch this drama right now. Both of them are amazing in this show!! But other than them, it seems almost like a typical Korean rom-com. I can see where this is going already.

Pride.

So PanDa has a lot of pride... too much at times. I feel that her reaction to what Won Il said was a bit ridiculous. But if that's what makes Seung Ji and PanDa stay together then, I guess I'm ok with it :D But I feel as if she's going to have another ridiculous reaction to what was revealed at the end of this episode. But SUENG JI WHY ARE YOU SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!! I feel that even if this drama ends up going down the drain I'd still tune into it because of him. Everytime he's on screen I end up laughing and smiling at all the cute things he does. In this episode I especially loved when he popped a gun at Won Il. So CUTE!! When Seung Ji and his Grandpa are together it is the cutest!! I love his interactions with his grandpa.

The only thing I don't like in this drama is how PanDa will sell herself short, because she needs money. I mean I get that she needs money, but just because Won Il is your friend, it doesn't mean that you can just take what you want from him. That's why I like how PanDa and Seung Ji have these contracts, it makes more sense. Oh I also don't like how spoiled Won Il is. He expects to win over PanDa by giving her expensive gifts. Overall, cute episode. Again I have to say that this is going to be a drama where I'll most likely tune into so I can fangirl. Otherwise the story isn't all that exceptional.

Hooollly Cow!!

Things just hit the roof!!! Yeol Mae decides to be with Seok Hyun realizing that she was selfish and all their past relationships and didn't really think about him. This actually is a valid point, and I'm glad that she realizes this and then decides to start over. I'm glad she doesn't start over with him out of pity because that never works out.

But omo!! Pooor Ji Hoon!! I have such a huge crush on this sweet man!! His face at the end of the episode, HEART-BREAKING!! I am now trying my hardest to be Team Neutral because I don't want to bawl my eyes out because of these two men.

But the actor who plays Seok Hyun is seriously AMAZING!! His acting when he was talking to his sister's memorial was DAEBAK!! He somehow managed to convey how he trying to put on a brave face and how he was slowly cracking. I can't explain his emotions well, but I totally felt them in that scene.

Ji Hee and Mr. Nosy!!! TOO CUTE!!! Love this couple!

Aww Jae Kyung and her lover, I really want them to be together. They are awesome together!!

Really sweet, heart-breaking, emotional roller-coaster of an episode!

Bad Timing, Good Timing.

Ahh the end of the episode had me on the edge of my seat! I was shouting at the screen, "SAY IT!! SAY IT!!! SKI-DA!!! YOU LIKE HER!!!" Hayato, you've taken my heart in this drama. I officially am on your team. What I really like about this drama is that you're not sure who's going to end up with who. According to the movie poster on this site, Miku is going to end up with Hayato, but in the opening credits of the show, it seems she'll end up with Souhei. All I know is that I want her to end up with Hayato. I like Souhei, but I'm a sucker for the guywho confesses first and what makes it better is that the Hayato is the mysterious, charming, dark type that I absolutely love in dramas. AND HE CONFESSED FIRST!!!! Seeing the preview it seems that Miku accepts his confession and goes out with him, I just hope if Souhei comes to like her she won't dump Hayato and run to Souhei. But I don't think Miku is like that. *Crosses fingers*

Miyuki... I don't like her, she irks me... end of story.

The only think I have to complain about Miku is that she is too weak. I hope her character goes through a transformation where she becomes more confident.

The soundtrack in this drama is AMAZING!! I love the songs!!

Unique!

I love the concept of this drama! Its sooo refreshing!! Especially for a girl like me who is currently enrolled in male dominated engineering courses in High School. I know exactly how she feels. At first I only did it because my dad told me too, but now I love it!! But if Makoto turns out to be the 2nd male lead (judging from the comments I think he is) I will cry. He is perfect... well not perfect but I like him a lot in this drama. But if she goes for the pretty boy just because he's pretty... well then I'd say that Nao is a BAKA!! I don't have anything against pretty boys, god knows the 2 almost kisses practically killed me in this episode. Its just that I prefer a romance that actually makes sense and has development. But all in all I'm so glad that I randomly picked this drama to watch today :D

YES!!!!!

Go Ji Hoon!!!! You go get your girl!!! I loved this episode. I found Yeol Mae to be annoying in this episode but yet respectable. She may try and cling on to Seok Hyun but at least she isn't doing the typical Kdrama cliche and using Ji Hoon to make him jealous, so I respect her for that. She knows that she doesn't like Ji Hoon as more than friends and tells him that. But I'm sure she'll start liking him more than that soon enough, I mean the guy is hot, sweet, charming, and he can sing, cook, and is good with kids. What more does a girl need. He's perfect husband material. I'm Team Ji Hoon all the way!

Seok Hyun is a different story, I've said this before I wouldn't mind if Yeol Mae ends up with him but his personality needs to change a bit. He needs to be more open and accepting. He has a secret, which I'm itching to figure out, but he won't tell Yeol Mae. Why won't he tell her? Aren't they best friends? Best friends can tell each other anything. How bad exactly is this secret? Ooohhh so many questions, not enough answers.

I love Jae Kyung's character now! She is Kickbutt! I love her and her, for lack of better term, weedlike personality.

There wasn't much about Ji Hee in this episode, but I really want her to dump her loser BF and get with Mr. Nosy.

I'm on Ji Hoon's side now.

Ok so Yeol Mae and Seok Hyun have great chemistry, there is no denying that. I mean those kissing/sex scenes in this episode were pretty hot :P But Seok Hyun is such a jerkwad!! I know he likes Yeol Mae but he won't admit it, and what man doesn't eventually want to get married and have kids. Seok Hyun is not healthy for Yeol Mae. She gets all emotional and paranoid because of him. I feel that she would have been better off if she had broken up with him and just severed all ties with him. Her mental and marital state would be much better. But Ji Hoon is so sweet, remembering her name after 5 years. I love his flashbacks, I laughed so hard. I was team Seok Hyun, but Ji Hoon you took my heart in this episode. Ahhh Ji Hee finds out that Mr. Nosy is now her manager! Yes! Let the workplace hijinks ensue, let's hope she dumps her boring bf for Mr.Nosy But Hot. Not really all that interested in Jae Kyeong's story though. One last thing, the writer girl who is now co-writing with Seok Hyun annoys me. She showed basically no emotions when she was supposed to be acting sad and then suddenly she's bright when she gets to co-write. I have a feeling that co-writing her scene/play with Seok Hyun wasn't all that she had in mind.... if you catch my drift.

Why Don't You Sleep In My Room Sometimes?

So I love this drama so far. I just wish that the triangle would be introduced already. I think that's next week but I just want to see Seok Hyun get jealous already. I mean sparks are already flying from the Seok Hyun and Yeol Mae couple and there are some minor sparks between Ji Hoon and Yeol Mae as well. Yeol Mae has great chemistry with both male leads, making me anticipate who she'll choose. Yeol Mae's friends are hilarious and the advice they give and the stories they tell are seriously ridiculous sometimes. Cute episode, but it was more of an introduction episode. But I loved Yeol Mae's dream and her flashback in this episode. Waiting in suspense for the love triangle to begin!

Wait, We Kissed?

Hahaha, I love this show. Well I loved this episode! Its really funny and plus the romance starts from the very first episode. This show jumps right in with the plot. It does do some character introductions but it does it in a way which isn't boring like a lot of dramas. The chemistry between the leads is already sizzling. I like how this episode introduces the leads by using their past and present. I really liked the flashbacks and I love looking at how they live now. Their past is like a drama within a drama. The show doesn't reveal everything about the past but rather as the story moves along bits and pieces of the past are being put together to show how the leads came to be in the situation they are in currently. I love the best friends of the female lead they are going to bring lots of laughs. The male lead is sweet but he's a jerk at the same time! The personalities of these characters sure are interesting. The most interesting part was how she doesn't remember the guys she kissed at all. I mean its ok if you forget one or two, but forgetting all of them... Is that possible?

Best Kiss Scene Ever!

Tdramas have the best kissing scenes. Kdramas are too closed mouthed and Jdrama when they are romance based only have a few kisses. But in Tdramas, once the romance heats up, the leads kiss like every other episode. It's GREAT!. haha. Daoming saves Shancai and gets her cleaned up. And while he's cleaning up her wounds BAM! They kiss :D. Of course Shancai tries to resist but who can resist that hot boy :P. Lei comes back which kinda sucks because now Shancai is back to being a puppy for Lei and lusting after him again. Dang she was so close to admitting she liked Daoming. I have mixed feelings about Lizhen. One one hand I want to hate her but on the other I can't. Since she is poor in this version I can kinda understand where she's coming from. She's obviously smart and has worked hard to get a scholarship in this top school. She's worked so her dreams can come true. But unfortunately things don't seem to be working out for her. She's worked hard but for what, to not get the guy. The drama is sort of sending out the message that all you have to do to get a perfect life with the perfect guy is be bold and courageous, there's no real need to work hard, which is far from the truth in real life. Being bold and courageous are good qualities but without working hard, life's going to be tough. But I really love Shancai and Daoming so I'm a bit torn as whether to love or hate Lizhen. Moving on. Daoming takes Shancai shopping! So cute! He makes her try on a bunch of cute (IMO) outfits which are all rejected by Daoming for an OK dress. I personally liked the pink one the best. He's taking her on a vacation!! Yay! But wait Lei will be there with a girl toy... meaning that Shancai is jealous, of his girl toy. Boo! I wish Shancai will just get over him already.

Compared to a Dog

So this version includes the almost rape scene that was in the anime which I kinda actually liked that they added that in. It shows that this version isn't afraid to be bold. I'm confused about Lizhen, she's supposed to be the fake friend of Shancai's that betrays Shancai for Daoming's love. But Lizhen is supposed to be rich, not a scholarship student. But she may be lying about that. I love Vanness's random english in this version. He grew up in America so his accent is perfect. I love how he is the only one that speaks english. I die a little inside everytime he says something in english. The chemistry between the two leads is sizzling. I think that this version has the best romance in it and I'm a sucker for a good romantic pairing. I think Lei leaves in the next episodes so things between Shancai and Daoming will become more heated!
